Well. No issues occurred. They were efficient and the designer was very responsive to our tastes and design preferences.

Cracks started showing up 2 months after installation.  Multiple calls and voicemails left and no calls back.

While initially they were not what they had promised, ultimately they fixed them and did a great job. They wanted to do a good job is what stood out about this provider as they were doing the work for me. I definitely feel like they tried to be customer service friendly but not all of their staff members understood everything about the fireplaces but at the end of the day their ultimate goal was to make you happy.

Measurements of the opening were not to specifications, but they returned to correct it. <br />

Our situation had special needs/issues. Communication was difficult as the sales person doesn't do the drawings. <br />

<p>At first I had to meet with several people until they figured out how I wanted my fireplace done, especially since it was a protruding fire box (not flush with the wall), but when they finally did it, it was stunning....absolutely beautiful. The owner, Eytan, wanted to make sure we were happy and listened to everything we wanted done and did a fantastic job. We are extremely happy!</p> <br />

I had a pleasure of contracting Elegant Fireplace Mantel to remove my outdated fireplace mantel and install a new precast one. <br /> Talking to Robert was a pleasure as well, he was very helpful coordinating everything and helping out with payments. <br /> On the other hand, Mark was really knowledgeable about pretty much everything involving mantels and fireplaces and helped me select a cheap, precast mantle which would fit my living room perfectly. <br /> Their showroom is very well organized and pretty big with a really wide selection, unlike most fireplace mantel companies I have visited before Elegant. The installation was smooth and almost noiseless. They took all of the measurements and after installing the mantel cleaned the area as well as totally cover up the area on the wall around it. <br /> Very happy with the service. Thanks! <br />

They were very professional and did quality work. Rachel did a great job with scheduling and billing. She worked with me to fit all work into my schedule. They gave me a reasonable price and did a high quality job. The fireplaces are now up to code and no longer a fire hazard (which they definitely were). The mantels and surrounds look better than new as they took the time to make sure that the job was done right. <br />

This job went excellent. <br /> After selecting the fireplace mantel, color and texture and on-site inspection was made by Eli. <br /> Eli made all measurements and shortly thereafter, a shop drawing with all dimensions and specifications was provided to us for review and approval. <br /> It took a few weeks to construct the mantel and upon notification of mantel readiness we schedule an installation date and time. <br /> The installers arrived at the appointed time (8 AM) and proceeded to install the mantel and all filler panels. <br /> They grouted and sealed all seams and it looks great. <br /> The installers finished by 11 AM. <br />

He was responsive to me from start to finish. We actually had a couple of contractors work in our house for us and out of all the contractors they are the only ones I felt that I would ever go back to again. The others were totally incompetent. I would use them again in the future.

After 6 months job not finished. Promised two crews 5-6 days a week. Rarely had one crew 3-4 days a week. No supervision, no one coordination the job. Non English speaking workmen. Installed three different color materials, installed raw wood to ground - not to code - We had to pay to have the column reopened and pressure treated wood installed. They then decided that we now owed them an additional $10,000 as they had measured wrong. They measured and bid the job. We never signed change orders or agreed to pay more money. They quit working and put an illegal lien on our home. The job has never been finished, our house is a wreck, they left trash all over, piles of concrete, never even delivered all of the custom materials so that we could have someone else finish. What a night mare! They yell and hang up on us. Refused to honor their contract. We paid 1/3 upon signing to have them produce all of the custom materials (the same dye lot and color). The next payment 1/3 was to be when they delivered the product. They begin installation with out ever delivering the entire lot of product. It was made piece meal, didn't match and then demanded the second payment. We paid it just to try to keep peace and to finish for the holidays. Then the blackmail began to try to extort more money. Without filing a preliminary lien notice and without finishing the job they filed an illegal lien on our home.
