We had a few contractors over to give us estimates. It was summer and kind of busy season so they all took a week or more to get back to us. I think EHS were among the fastest, which we appreciated and the least expensive, which we really appreciated. I mean we got one estimate to reface our existing cabinets - 1500. For 2600 or so EHS said they could replace our cabinets with new ones, build a little wall to block the view of our washer / dryer (in our kitchen), and remove some soffits that were wasting space and cramping our kitchen. <br /> So we hired them to do that and more. For expanding the entrance way, one contractor wanted 3k. For the same price, EHS expanded the entrance way, and tiled our shower, and put in new counters and sink, and did some touch-up painting, and installed a couple of ceiling fans, and installed new locks. <br /> Good quality, good price. Jeff and Wes and the subcontractors I met were always polite and responded to calls or messages in a reasonable amount of time. I would use EHS again. <br />

The bathroom looks <em>amazing</em>! thanks to Jeff and his crew. <br /> The renters were a little put out with the mess, sheetrock dust etc. I explained to them that remodeling makes a mess. I am very pleased with the service and will continue to use their services as needed. <br />

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. Elite actually sub-contracted it out to an independent contractor and she was very good but did not work for him. Since she was just an individual who was an independent contractor and I could not verify that she had insurance or was bonded I did not use her again. I was a little put out that, although I hired Elite to do the job, the owner sent out an independent contractor. The price was good.

Thought the price was excessive. Called contractor in early a.m. We was working in my neighborhood that day. <br /> I supplied filters and already had large ladder in house. 5 minutes cost $50. <br /> Asked for a quote on replacing fluorescent fixture with like fixture. With me providing fixture, quote was $100. <br /> Have comparison shopped subsequently. These services are overpriced. <br />

"I'm sorry that you live in a nearly 4,000 sq ft home in Summerbrooke & you feel that $50 is to much money. Try calling an A/C company & they will be a lot more than the $50 I charged you. You never asked for a quote before I came out & I usually charge $75 service charge but since you lived near the job I was working on I gave you a break. After reading your review I realized I should have not given you a break. I suggest next time this customer needs to use Craigslist to find a contractor as she just wants her jobs done for nearly nothing. I feel my prices are very fair. Thanks"

I purchased a 55" plasma television that weighed 71 pounds and I wanted it mounted over my fireplace. My fireplace has 3/4" cherry wood on top of concrete block so I needed someone knowledgeable with hanging something in both wood and concrete. Jeff came out with a helper and they installed my TV mount using bolts that were not included with the mount since they felt they needed more substantial bolts for the installation. The mount went up fairly easily but they had a little difficulty hanging the television, partly because they had very little room to work in since the television filled up almost the entire space between the side columns. But when they got it in it was there to stay. I feel very confident that the television is very secure and so is the mount. They cleaned up and all that was left was for me to clean off fingerprints on the edges of the screen. I had a special cleaner for that job so I did that. I am very pleased.

This was a coupon service for total of 4 hours. Scheduling within the dates of coupon was difficult (they changed phone # and initially the new # was not part of message) so honored the coupon after the date. I didn't need general cleaning, but some specific items and they were quite flexible in addressing my specific needs. 2 people came for 2 1 hour sessions. They were prompt and worked hard the time they were there. They were courteous and professional in their interactions. The areas were cleaned well. I would use them again. <br />

Everything went very well, however it did take a little longer than expected , but Jeff did an excellent job considering the bathrooms were originally constructed in 1976. Bill Beam did a great job of staining the decks and repainting the bathroom. Jeff did an excellent job of laying the tile for tub and shower.

I called Jeff, told him what I needed done and he sent my a contract to sign. After signing, Jeff ordered the doors and when they came in (they were delayed by the company) we determined a date and time for him to come out to hang the doors. My ceiling fan blades were originally going to be replaced but Jeff suggested I replace both fans as they were old. He was right. One wouldn't turn at all and the other stopped turning within a month. So while the doors were on order I purchased new fans and light kits. When the doors came in, Jeff and his father-in-law came out to work on changing out the doors. It took a little longer than expected but they were hung, primed and painted over the course of several days. Both doors had noises they made over time, but I called Jeff out and he fixed the hinges. The Anderson door is wonderful and the Therma Tru is doing well, too. Jeff came out later to hang the fans on the back porch and brought another family member to help. Again, it took longer than expected but was completed during the same day. Both fans work fine. They did the work with a few delays (weather, items on order) and did it well. I asked for an estimate on some more work and haven't heard back. I'm sure if I called him he would send me one, but I am not in a hurry. <br />

He came out pretty quickly and gave an estimate within a day or two. He e-mailed a contract which we signed and sent back. He scheduled the work which did not require ordered materials the following week. He did what he said he would do, as we discussed and when we discussed ( the weather prevented a few days of outside painting). we were very pleased with hi dependability.

Jeff arrived with only one bag of mud mixture to repair the cracks which were obvious and known to us before hand as the carpet had been cut to reveal the extent of the cracking.When Jeff ran out of the mud mixture, he went to his truck and returned with a can of spray-in foam insulation to fill and used it to fill in the remainder of the cracks. When I informed my husband, he called Jeff and asked him to purchase additional mud to repair the cracks properly. <br /> Prior to beginning the procedure, Jeff used a grinding tool on a raised crack and made no effort to cover or protect anything in our home. <br /> It became apparent the work was outside the scope of his experience and he should not have taken the job. After the flooring was halfway installed, my husband viewed the work when he arrived home and contacted Jeff about removing the flooring so the foundation could be properly repaired. We had to incur further expense to have the work done properly. When asked to refund a portion of the money, Jeff refused. <br /> Also, when Jeff provided a materials list for the flooring, he failed to mention the transition pieces would be glued down. We purchased real wood transition pieces with holes. Jeff's flooring guy but the pieces but never installed them. The work remains left undone.

"This customer is upset because there was extensive damage to floor that was unforeseen before the job was started. When the job was nearly done we could see the extent of the foundation problems. They decided to repair the work themselves instead of paying additional fee to fix the floor properly . I actually re installed the floor once again after they completed there repairs for no extra charge. As far as the transitions they told me to go ahead & cut them because it wasn't a big deal that they would be glued down . 2 months have passed when they emailed me wanting a refund & claiming the job wasn't complete. If the job wasn't complete they would have never paid me. When I completed the job they paid me with no problems & now over 2 months later they claim the job is not complete. They also threatened to leave this bad review if I did not give them a refund. Its sad when people try & use my good Angie's List reports against me. I'm sorry I have not learned how to please everybody. Some people cannot be pleased"

Fantastic! I would recommend Elite Home Services. He arrived when he said he would, maintained a professional demeanor throughout the job, priced his services fairly and did a great job. Because he did such a great job giving one of my bathrooms a facelift, I am calling him back to remodel my other bathroom.
