Beware of this contractor. He'll want your money but won't do the job. Lots of excuses of why it's late but never backs up.

I hired josh Thomas to remodel my house and he took over $13,000 from me and spent it on drugs within 24 hours. I have chased him for 3 years trying to get him served a summons. he moves from state to state and town to town and never stays in the same place. He owes people money all over Knoxville TN and Chattanooga TN as well as Dayton TN Josh Thomas and his wife Teresa Thomas are liars , thieves and drug addicts. I had to take out a second mortgage on my home and hire someone else to fix what they demolished just to make my house livable. .. I paid them a total of $26,000 dollars and the only work done was demo. I didnt know any better when they said they had to have these draws 2 weeks in advance of the work and I kept giving them money. The last 2 draws I gave them of $7600 each , they took from me and did not pay the workers or buy materials. Josh Thomas admitted he took my money but to this day has never made it right. The workers he hired then showed up on my doorstep looking for pay because he skipped town and never paid them either.. Do NOT do business with this man. He leased a building on Shallowford road in Chattanooga and opened a fruit market a few months ago. He skipped out on the lease and owes thousands of dollars on it. Do not hire this man or any company that he claims to represent. He will take your money and then disappear and change his business name. He will hook you in by telling you what a Christian he is and then like a thief in the night he takes your money and will leave your home in shambles and scrambling for a way to repair it!!! I may never get my money back, but I will do my best to keep him from doing this to anyone else. Thank you!
