Do not use this company. You will require an attorney to get any action. I was expecting a follow up visit today (after a cancellation last week) to repair (a) the yard they initially destroyed during installation and (b) additional yard damage caused by poor installation when a valve burst causing hundreds of gallons of water to flow for hours. Therefore, we are in the process of civilly suing Elite Sod for: Cost to repair Sod caused by poor installation Cost to repair new drainage issues due to the busted valve that occurred the day after installation Water Bill (emptied out of the busted valve consistently for 14 hours Damage to Hydro seed during installation Quotes to repair has averaged $2100 to $2600. If I can figure out a way to add pictures or video I will, otherwise reach out to me directly and I will forward them to you. Feel free to contact me for details regarding this experience. I’ll also post the demand letter so that anyone else impacted can use as a reference in any of their claims against Elite Sod. We are also reaching out to local news agencies to participate in a Buyer Beware segment. Ranel 678-858-9650 Ranel@bellsouth.net **********UPDATE AND RESPONSE TO ELITE SOD'S RESPONSE: 7.16.19 Update to original review 1. Robert was never threatened. On day one, I personally and jokingly told Robert “Don’t mess this up, or you can end up on the news”. 2. There was one area of silk screen fencing located in the entire 1.5 acre property. Ironically, where this silk screen (3-4 feet long) was located, there was no damage the area did not require repair and has for the most part already grown over. There is a picture of the silk screen and minor damage where the silkscreen was discovered. If that was the ONLY damage and issue, Robert would have gotten all A’s. FYI, no one (other than Robert) identified this property a dumpsite. In fact, this was the first home built in the neighborhood. It is nearly two times the size of all the other acre lots because the owner of the developers company lived in it while developing the other lots. 3. I can only laugh at Robert’s mentioning of “working out a deal for free”. At no point did anyone in this household believe Robert would do anything for free. Robert’s company Elite Sod does not do the work it’s paid to do, let alone any expectation to do work free. However yes, in an effort to get my yard repaired as soon as possible the plan was for him to come back as a second job and pay him to repair the damages he created. This of course never happened. As stated in previous post, he never returned phone calls or text and never showed. Since this original posting approximately 4 weeks ago, more damage has occurred due to this installation. On July 8th I contacted Robert to report an area under my driveway leaking (part of this installation required Robert to drill under the driveway). Robert asked if it leaked when the sprinklers were on or did it leak all the time. I reported to Robert it definitely leaked while the sprinklers were on but was not sure if it also leaked if the sprinklers were not running. This same day, with the sprinklers off and the rest of the driveway dry, it was clear the area is still leaking (pictures below). I sent Robert pictures and a video. Additionally, I told him of a sprinkler head no longer working. He said he was coming out, as of July 16th 2019 he has not come out and has not called. Under Georgia repair laws Robert is required to complete these repairs and damages or face civil action. People work too hard for their money to have it taken by disingenuous people.

"Elite Sod Irrigation will have a response to this review. It has just been posted and I don't have time to sit down and tell the details about what happened. Let me tell you this though we were threatened that the homeowner works for Fox 5. This is before we even stepped foot in the yard. So no big surprise they now do this. I would like to say three quick things before I end. 1) We excepted for responsibility for the cracked 90 fitting We told the homeowner that we would be glad to pay for the water lost. 2) The homeowner was aware of all the trash in their yard. Building materials such as silt fence been buried throughout the years by the builder. They never intended for that lot to be developed. And the builder used it as a dumpsite. I Was told this by both the husband and the wife. So no big surprise that there are gaping holes in the yard. 3) Two days after the Husband contacted me and said that his wife was going to write an article and try to get it on the news. He then said that it was not my fault that there was a bunch of trash buried in the yard. He then said that his wife Was going to call and asked me to fix The spots where the trash had been pulled up out of the ground. He said she is going to want me to do it for free. I told him that I could not do it for free and I was not aware of all the trash but I would help him out and do it at a discount price. He then told me to tell his wife that I was going to do it for free and then he was going to pay me under the table to fix the two spots with sod. He just wanted me to please his wife and say that I would do it for free. So considering they have been threatening to put me on Fox five from the beginning before any work was started, I don't feel good and big surprise that they have put this on a review. Some people just want something for nothing and want to be in the spotlight. So I say bring advice five and I will show what really going on.
