We had an extremely disappointing experience with this company and feel it?s important to share, even though this happened about a year ago. From the very beginning, we were told during our consultation that they do not work with ?middle men? and that everything would be handled directly by their team. This turned out to be completely untrue. They sent subcontractors to do the work, and those subcontractors were clearly confused about the scope of the project and what was expected of them. There was miscommunication at every level. At one point, we were even told that the company instructed the subcontractors that we ?wouldn?t notice? a difference in the deck size?essentially encouraging them to cut corners and mislead us. That alone was extremely concerning and completely unacceptable. The project itself was never completed. What was started left our yard in worse condition, including an unfinished foundation area and visible damage to our lawn from their machinery.

From the first preliminary meeting through the working out of a contract, from design (and redesign) through the execution and completion of our gorgeous new screened-in porch, we found all the Elite Exterior people to be affable, flexible, and competent. Our project was not a simple one, our yard being on a serious slope; further, they had to make special allowances and adaptations for our five pets, who range from 9 pounds to 100 pounds (!). We like it that Elite organizes the work into expert and efficient teams – in our case, one for building the deck, another for the covered porch, and a third for electric. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat.

Elite Xteriors built a fantastic deck for our home in Wake Forest. From the daily clean up to the finished product everything was done with perfection. The crew was professional, but also friendly. The crew’s team lead, Alfredo was great communicating options as the build was in progress. The sales person Josh was very helpful and the owner, Brian was also extremely helpful with our process. You could not ask for a better team to work on your home. We are so pleased with the outcome

We wanted a fairly complicated deck with a lot of detail. We spoke to 3 other contractors and every time, we left feeling like they didn't understand our vision. Brian and the EliteXteriors team really took the time to understand what we wanted and sketched it out on the spot. During the whole process, they were professional, friendly, and highly communicative. We got regular updates about when materials were ordered, when they arrived, and when the project would start. We're super happy with the end result too. I look forward to working with them on future projects at our home.

New screened in deck in the Smithfield/Wilson’s Mills area. We are so very pleased with the quality of work done on our deck. They came sooner than we thought & had it done quickly. They cleaned up the area afterwards, leaving the deck ready to use. We had a few issues with minor things, but Maegan has been on top of them all to get them taken care of. We would definitely recommend Elite Xteriors as the go to for a deck build!

All staff members I have had contact with have been great and workers were very respectful of my property and answered questions when asked.
