Elk Contracting

Nick is the Elk lead man. He inspected our roof and even negotiated an increased settlement with our insurance. He explained in detail all of our roofing options, including pricing, timeline, and materials. He has 2 crews: one strips the old roofing and the other installs the roof. When they stripped our roof, it was then dried in with a synthetic, durable underlayment. This was important because we had a couple of delays because of rain. The roofing crew was very experienced. The foreman explained the whole process to me step by step, and answered all my questions. His crew was very nice and had great attention to detail. They finished at an amazing pace and cleaned up every bit of refuse and scrap on our site. We are very proud of our new roof and have Elk, Nick, and their crews to thank for an outstanding job, warranties included. In the end, you can see here, Viola! , we have a beautiful, metal roof that we can enjoy for many years to come.

The professionalism of all Nick's workers were amazing. Just wanting a 3rd quote for gutters, Nick asked to climb on my roof. I asked why but agreed. Upon his inspection he told me this was an insurance job, because of hail damage to our roof, gutters and fencing. He said with our permission he would file and try to get our insurance to pay as much as possible. Within a month our insurance agreed to fix the roof, some gutters and some fencing. The other two companies I received estimates from never even asked to look on the roof. They gave all their information from the ground 2 stories below the gutters. Nick was very thorough and went way beyond I expected. He made sure he was present when my insurance adjuster came so he could answer and agrue any questions on our behalf. I even received a $100 gift card I never expected from the shingle company as a purchase incentive I never knew existed. Nick again applied for the rebate as well as updated paperwork to negotiate the most money possible for my insurance to cover. Thank you Nick at Elk! I would use you again as well as recommend you to my family and friends for any home improvements they may have. You and your company is very reliable, respectful and very reasonable.

Nick worked hard with my insurance to insure I was compensated fairly for my losses. His crew was there as scheduled, and the work was completed on schedule. I was really impressed on their attention to detail. His crew made sure there was no trash left behind in my yard or my neighbors. I will not hesitate to recommend or use his services again!

Nick s workers were very professional and cordial! Nick kept me posted regarding date and time of repair. He also followed up after the work was completed. I would highly recommend this company! Thank you Nick!

Thank you Mr. Garza and Team for the good work you have done. I haven't experienced any more leaks. I appreciated the professional with which you handled this project. The crew was top notch and I really appreciated their professionalism as well. Elk Contractors was very forthright in their feed back - they gave me before and after pictures.

Great experience and customer service

Nick did an outstanding job from start to finish! I live out of state and had to coordinate a roof replacement after it was damaged by a storm. He was able to coordinate with inspectors and the insurance company to complete the claims process. After the claim was approved Nick then helped select all the required materials and did an excellent job of coordinating the replacement with the property manager, tenant and me. There is no way I would not recommend Nick Garza if you have roofing needs. He completed an entire replacement with excellent material recommendations, coordination and timeliness. He did such an excellent job at completing our house that our property manager hired him for several more jobs after ours. If you have questions about roofing repairs or need a replacement....call Nick. You won't be disappointed. He will provide honest, accurate answers in a manner that is easy to understand . He'll get the job done right and you'll be happy to recommend him to your friends and family....just like I'm happy to recommend him to you.

Very courteous during the scheduling, but never showed up for the job.

Our experience was excellent! Nick Garza was courteous and professional throughout the entire process and made sure that everything was done on time. From the initial inspection, to the bid, to helping us chose the right type of materials to use - we were kept in the loop the entire time. Would highly recommend Elk to my family and friends.

ELK Contracting was very professional and knowledgeable in every aspect of the work that was done...I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

This was an insurance claim and they handled everything, including contacting and dealing with the insurance agent as well as followup negotiations for changes. They replaced my roof, repainted my siding and did a very good job.

He was very professional and on time!
