Upon looking for companies on Angi's list, I was contacted by 2 companies. E & L was the only one who came out to look at the job. There were two separate portions we needed worked on. One being a 6 ft wide, 8 ft tall wood fence and the other being a 20 ft., 6 ft high wrought iron fence with gate that would be completely fabricated. Lupe came by to look at everything, we asked if it could be done by that Thursday (7-7) and he agreed. The price agreed on was $2400. That included material, labor, paint and fabrication. He asked for 1/2 up front for materials, we were reluctant but thought this was fair. He was given $1200 cash to get started and a receipt was given to me. He completed the wood fence as agreed upon on Tuesday (7-5) and said he would be taking Wednesday off to fabricate the wrought iron fence for the separate portion of the house. He came out Thursday and installed 2 panels on the already existing 4 posts and he sent me a picture of the completed work. When I got home I noticed that the fencing was not fabricated and I'm not sure what kind of metal the fencing is but it doesn't seem to be wrought iron. He asked for an additional $600 because he was having problems with his welder. When he came by for the $600 we brought it to his attention that this is not what we had agreed upon and he admitted that it was store bought and no fabrication was done. We did not agree with this and he said the gate would be fabricated as agreed to. My husband and I took some time to talk about how we would approach the panels as we were not happy with them. We reached out to Lupe and have not seen him since.

It was good. He was a nice and friendly guy.
