Walter Elvilz walked off job without providing paid-for materials nor completing the job. Walter Elvilz begin a plumbing job they were inexperienced to complete. Homeowner had to call in an emergency plumber to fix their damage, and provide required plumbing needs at additional costs. 1. Walter Elvilz collected $3,599.00 up front to purchase necessary materials for job. To date, no materials have arrived. 2. Did not show up when scheduled. 3. Did not provide crew of 6 individuals as promised. 4. Left site cluttered with debris, even though haul off and dumping fees were procured. 5. When they left site, contractor left homeowner without water and electricity in parts of the house. 6. Homeowner had to call in emergency plumber at additional cost of $595.13. 7. Contractor, Walter Elvilz, harassed homeowner all day on 7/3/23 for an additional $1,000 to “purchase materials” which had already been paid for. 8. Contractor insisted on $300 for plumbing they did not successfully complete and caused additional damaged for homeowner. 9. Contractor, Walter Elvilz, damaged wood floors in hall by bathroom. 10. Contractor, Walter Elvilz, has not replied to text messages requesting reimbursement of services not complete along with missing materials.

I checked out several contractors and chose this contractor. I avoided the scammers and did background checks. After seeing other work they did and talking to the people I hired these guys and for less than the other contractors.

They did pretty good. They were timely. They finished the job in a day.
