They just basically came to took the money. They said it will take 3months to do anything. And I tried to contact them yesterday and found out that this company is no longer in business.

I've talked to them. In order to get the materials, they said that they have to get the 8000 dollars. I already paid 8000 for the deposit. And after that, I texted the salesman several times. And they said that they will call me but no one ever did. They took my money and they gave me nothing.

In short. They took our money and ran. Based on the "verified" recommendation from Angi's list we decided to hire this company in June. Due to material shortages, Elysium asked for $3,725 as a deposit (originally asking for $12,000) and the work was to be performed in 6 weeks. Our check was cashed that day and 6 weeks came and went without follow-up. We contacted our PM and we received an email saying that our email could not be delivered. When we finally got a hold of Elysium after many calls they said the PM had quit abruptly and if we had not called they would have never called us back as they had no records of the job (even though the company cashed our check). Our new PM (Carly Malone) came out and said the estimate would be honored and work would begin in two-three weeks. That never happened. Excuse after excuse followed. Bryan has to follow-up. Talk to him. Carly has to follow-up. Talk to her. No. Bryan has to follow-up. Talk to him. We attempted to get a refund on our deposit and the same run-around and refusals to respond ensued. We asked to speak to the owner (Scott Stoner) and he never returned out call/texts after many attempts. We have never received our deposit and at this point are out $3700 for absolutely no work performed. We are not the only victim of Scott Stoner and his fraud. Even though this is a verified Angi’s list company they have multiple complaints with the better business bureau just in the past couple weeks and our lawyer found they now have 3 complaints with the state attorney general that they are not responding to or compiling with but have the free time to open a jazz bar?

The job went smoothly. Even with a little bad weather, the workers were quick to complete the job. Everyone was friendly and courteous and answered any questions I had. Will definitely use this company again for future renovations.

My wife and I are so pleased we chose to use Elysium to complete our project. We dealt directly with the owners and builders. They made sure our goals and needs were not only met, but exceeded. I originally contacted Scott to get just the roof and gutters/downspouts replaced, due to some lost shingles in a recent wind storm in the area. Scott was punctual and professional, and he made me feel comfortable when we discussed the work needing completed. I immediately felt like Scott was someone I could trust and felt like he cared about both his business and his clients. The initial estimate for my roof and gutter job was very fair in price, which led to me discussing that I really wanted to add a porch to my home. Scott said Elysium does that type of work as well if I was interested. I honestly didn't think I could afford a project like that at this time. After thinking on it a day or two, I called Scott back to ask for an estimate on the addition of the front porch as well. I was surprised when everything came back within my budget and I was able to have the entire project completed. My wife and I agreed to have Elysium complete our project and that's when Bryan the builder came to make our vision a reality. He worked and communicated with my wife and I to make sure the details were just right. Bryan is another guy you feel like you can trust when you meet him. He had a genuine desire to make sure our vision came to fruition and gave great attention to detail. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our completed project and we are excited every time we think about getting to enjoy our new porch this spring. The project really changed our home for the better, our house took on a whole new personality and really stands out in a good way. We will use Elysium for any future projects and recommend them strongly to anyone needing or wanting to complete a construction project at their home. Done in one day. Workers were efficient and profession. Cleaned up very well when finished. Owners of the company were very helpful and know the business well. Very helpful to us. Would recommend highly to others.

Very professional staff. Nothing was subbed out to random workers, they did the entire job with there own people. I would definitely recommend them to for any home project.

Excellent! This was a relatively small job replacing missing shingles. Scott was very courteous and professional. His price was more than fair, charging much less than local competitors. He also ensured/fixed shingles around the damaged area making sure they were secured. He is highly recommended.
