GREAT. These guys are pros. Their work was prompt, on schedule, and high quality. They might be more expensive, but they were WELL worth it. All the crews were pros and polite and their work was excellent. Paul, the owner, is a great guy and wants his customers to be satisfied. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

It went great! Paul came by the house to check out the project within 48 hours of initial contact. We did a walk through, he gave me a verbal quote that turned out to be the best quote we received. He was friendly and professional and willing to meet us where we were at - we had out own paint, promised to do some of the patchwork but needed a little help, as well as some priming over plastered spots. When we called to schedule, he was able to start within 2 weeks. He and his colleague Nelson did the work in two days and did a great job! They were punctual and communicated well. We were very happy with the results and will call again. Thanks!

The condo I am renting needed the bathroom painted. Paul made arrangements with my tenants to work while they were gone for Thanksgiving. Work was done in a timely manner and my tenants are thrilled with the results. So am I.

We had our entire 1100sq ft condo repainted (walls, trim, ceilings, doors). Paul and his team were excellent! They were professional, reliable, and did high quality work. Paul was easy to get in touch with and was constantly in touch with updates and answering questions. It was a stress-free experience. I cannot say enough fabulous things about Paul and his team at Emerald Painting and decorating. From the moment we initially reached out to him Paul was incredibly responsive, professional, and truly a pleasure to work with. We had a very narrow window between our closing and move in date for our new home - this did not phase Paul and his team in the slightest. Without hesitation Paul worked around our tight schedule to make time for a quote, responded with a quote promptly, answered all of our questions professionally and quickly, and offered to tackle our painting project over the one weekend that would work for our closing and moving schedule. What’s more is that we were scheduled to be traveling internationally during this time meaning that Paul and his team were the first to enter our new home after the prior owners moved out. While we were abroad he tackled the project with ease and kept us updated by email. Being the first into the empty house he found a few new defects in the walls and along the trim that we hadn’t noticed while the prior owners furniture was in the house - he alerted us to these and took it upon himself to have his team fix these as well for us so the house would be move in ready upon our return. Through the process from our first walk through to his quote to how he kept us updated with our project while we were abroad we were very impressed with his constant attention to detail and open communication. We returned to find the work of Emerald Painting and Decorating complete and truly impeccable. Paul met us at the house to walk us through everything when we returned and we could not be more thrilled with the finished product, the service, and the relationship Paul fosters with his clients. We will be quick to recommend Emersld Painting with the highest of regards to any of our friends and family looking to tackle painting projects moving forward and would be thrilled to have the opportunity to work with their team again for future projects moving forward. Paul and his team were quick, efficient, and professional. Paul got the job done for us with less than a week’s notice and had the most competitive quote by far. Very satisfied with the end product!

I had called several companies to request quotes. Paul was responsive returning my call and came with strong recommendations from a trusted source. He came by in March and we set a date for later in the spring. The original tentative date was pushed back by lots of bad weather, but Paul was responsive in resetting dates once the weather held. He and his crew did the prep and painting within a week as quoted and checked in daily. Every day, they put away their materials and were careful of the plants in the garden. As we went with a rather different color, Paul recommended two coats of paint/primer for our wood shingle house. Near the end, we did a review and Paul and one of his crew made a list (short) of items to finish up. The house looks great, the neighbors like it and some of them even have painted their houses in the same color palette (blue). The only possible comment for next time is to use tarps for easier clean up, but that can be challenging on the time of year and any garden/plants by the house. Overall we are very pleased with the work and would recommend Emerald Painting.

Paul responded immediately, came out in 2 days to give an estimate, was honest about scheduling and showed up with his team as promised. His expert guidance helped resolve some design questions, he offered his opinion and was easily amenable to minor changes as requested. His work was clean, precise, and the job was wrapped up in 4 days! I would recommend him to anyone needing painting services.

Paul and David were wonderful. I needed large holes created by a plumber patched and plastered and painted. The appraisal was prompt, the price was fair, and the quality of the work was exemplary. I will hire them again and am planning on it soon for another project we are in need of.

I had an excellent experience with Emerald Painting! It started with responding to my request through Angie’s list on New Year’s Eve—Paul responded within an hour at 10pm; and came by the next day to look at the space. He gave me a fair quote and started work 3 days later. He was able to complete the job a day early. The job was done very well and Paul was incredibly accessible through out the job. Thanks Paul!

I called and the owner agreed to meet me at the job site in half an hour. He looked everything over, took paint chips so he could match the existing paint and said he would have someone over the next morning. The job took 1` and 1/2 days; the work was excellent; they touched up everything that needed it. And their price was very, very reasonable. I intend to use them on all three apartments in this triple decker.

We called Emerald Painting after reading all the great reviews on Angie’s List and we are so glad we did! They did an absolutely amazing job. They honestly cared about our condo and wanted their work to be perfect, and put in the time and effort to make it that way. Unlike previous contractors, Paul responded very quickly to my request for a quote via Email and followed-up by phone. Paul was on time, personable and very helpful in giving some advice on color selection. He also got us scheduled quickly and sent David over as the painter in charge who did a great job painting a large living room & dining area, a large closet and the hallway area including two large accent walls. They even fixed a ceiling area in the home office that our previous painter neglected to get right. David was dependable, professional and worked his butt off to get the project done both beautifully and on time. He was very easy to communicate with and so pleasant to have around. He was on time, thorough and went beyond what was required of him I am extremely happy with the service and the results we received from Emerald Painting. The cost was unbelievably fair. I HIGHLY recommend calling Emerald Painting.

The painting job is very nice. Unfortunately, the painter didn't know how to put our blinds back up and kept banging on them to go on (I wish my husband had been home because it's a bit tricky to get them back on and it doesn't require force), and one of the blinds fell to the floor, breaking the internal mechanism. Paul Brennan apologized and will reimburse me for the replacement blind (still waiting to hear back from blind company about that!).

Paul and David were incredibly professional, clean, and dedicated to a job well done. Most importantly, Paul was SUPER responsive and communicative throughout the whole process, which made me and my husband a lot more at ease, even when we were out of town during part of the project. Paul was also incredibly fair with the overall price. I've already recommended him to all of our neighbors and family who live locally and I plan to use him for many additional projects in the future. He truly helped us transform our home into something magnificent!

Everything went great. Paul and his crew are extremely punctual and professional. The project was estimated to take about three days, and ended up only taking two days. The colors came out great and the work was exceptional. Paul also followed up with us on some questions and offered suggestions we had in regards to another project we were thinking of taking on. Perfect. The owner, Paul answered the phone when I called on a Saturday for an estimate. Within 4 days, I had the estimate (excellent price) and the next day the work was done. Everything was done perfect. There were areas at the crown molding that needed caulking, which I thought I would have to do, but this was included in e painting. Everything was left clean and furniture was put back after the painting was done. I will hire Emerald Painting for all my painting.

Very well. Paul and his associate were on time, and moved quickly and efficiently among the four rooms that needed work. The fixed bathroom ceiling looks great, and the new paint on the walls, ceiling, and windowsills blend perfectly. The painters were polite, worked quickly (everything was done between 8am and 3pm), and did everything we asked plus an additional request we had that day. The only minor issue was that, because we kept the windows open during the day to air out the house, once the paint had dried, some of those windows were stuck in place (but this was easily fixed by just sliding a knife through the bits where the paint was fusing the window to the wall). Overall, we were very pleased with the paint job, particularly for the price, and would recommend to others.

All of the work was very well done and completed in a timely fashion. Paul Brennan provided a start date and end date and stayed within those guidelines. He stayed in contact with me throughout the job and the communication lines were always open. His workers are polite, work clean and fast and clean up after themselves.
