Emma Spring Home & Wardrobe

Emma is truly outstanding — incredibly skilled, kind, and respectful with sentimental items. She transformed my home into a calm, organized space and was wonderfully thoughtful as we went through family photos and heirlooms from my parents. Her mix of expertise and compassion made a hard process so much easier. I’m deeply grateful for her work and would recommend her in a heartbeat.

My husband and I hired Emma to help us decorate our living/dining rooms and foyer - which was proving difficult as we both had very different styles and preferences. Emma was able to speak to each of us and pull in elements from us both to design a space that we both loved. She helped us set clear expectations - whether it was budget, must-haves vs. nice-to-haves, or order of importance (e.g., we had to settle on the couch first). The space now feels like both of us and we absolutely love it!

I hired Emma to help me unpack and set up my new apartment after a fairly drastic downsize (TX to CA!). She worked way faster than I expected, and her input on how to best use the new smaller space was crucial to me fitting all my stuff. Her suggestions on furniture, organization, and decor were also super helpful- when I was overwhelmed she offered great suggestions that worked perfectly and supported my decision making when I was confused. I was so relieved to be able to feel like I was "at home" and settled in only a few days, and my place looks great now! So grateful for Emma.

Fabulous! I couldn’t have done this job without her help. She was focused and kept me focused on each area as we sorted for garbage, donations and saving. We worked well together. Emma took items to load in trash, car for donations and sorted categories for items saved. She was extremely thorough and helpful. I would definitely hire Emma again!

Emma is fantastic. Starting in Dec 2021 and now in 2022, she is currently helping me in retirement to downsize, organize & arrange my overly cluttered house to, once again, be presentable in a series of thee day sessions, so far. Her help has been the equivalent of hitting the fast forward button on task I was struggling to complete and jump starting others I was making little or no progress. She is very pleasant to work with; I highly recommend her, especially if you are struggling like I was.

Emma is a superior organizer. She quickly figured out the best use of space in my self-storage unit and recommended some Amazon shelving that got everything off the floor and organized. She even has a nifty little label maker app on her phone that lets me know where the put stuff the next time I make a mess. I'll be using her again to organize my garage...and you should too!

I wish I could rate Emma as 10 out of five! Superb performance! This young lady worked her tail off! She managed to totally re-organize all the closets in the house which was over 30 years of clutter! Ladies: hire her to clean out your closets. Her background in clothing was an enormous help! She managed to unpack and organize huge shipment from a moving van that came from my former place in New York. She help me get rid of numerous items I simply didn’t need in this area and organize everything else So I can find it and use it. She also organized two home office areas with The usual computer/fax/printers The biggest task was organizing a kitchen and a enormous pantry/wine closet. When I hired her I didn’t even think we get to the kitchen the rest was so daunting! But she did it! She originally estimated the necessary time at nine days (it was a huge job) but she finished and seven and saved me a bunch of money! Superbe ?

My wife was tired of seeing my messy closet and called Emma Spring to help organize and downsize my clothes and shoes. Emma was very efficient, and explained to me the best way to keep my clothes tidy and well maintained. She created a simple system and guidelines for me to follow in the future. Emma Spring was also a considerate style consultant during the process, encouraging me to donate clothes that I didn't (or shouldn't) wear anymore, and help me build outfits around clothes I liked but didn't know how to wear. I had never really considered an organization service, and had no idea that it would be so valuable! My closet looks and feels way better now, and my wife loves the results too!

Emma exceeded all expectations. She was efficient, discreet, & super competent. She also worked largely on her own, which was a huge relief in itself, to know we would not have to be personally involved in every micro-decision. She still checked in regularly & was transparent about what she did. I appreciated the labels on the cabinets & cupboards detailing what had gone where. :) Her design eye is excellent & her suggestions for layout & decor were extremely effective. I was really wowed by what a difference it made in our environment to implement just a few simple changes. I also appreciated that when she gave ideas or thoughts, it was without judgment or pressure. Best, however, was how she eliminated the chaos of our clutter. In 24 work hours, she was able to organize what would have likely taken us years to get through - if we ever even attempted it. In giving us a manageable environment, she gave us the freedom to enjoy making 'fun' changes in the home in the future, without the weight of the entire place still needing to be brought into order. Emma is in one word AMAZING! She's a dear friend and without question helped me move. She made the impossible seem simple, and my closet has never looked better (not to mention color coordinated). If you do not hire Emma you are doing yourself a disservice!

Emma took the home office that I effectively used as a storage unit and made it a place of bliss. I can breath easy now when walking into my office to look for something or jumping into a meeting with my camera on and background visible. Like many people, I only wear about 25% of my closet. I'm the kind of person that is extremely reluctant to get rid of clothing. When I do purge, I do my best to donate/resell instead of letting it end up in a landfill. However, I have many different pieces that I couldn't bring myself to get rid of, but still never really wore. I decided to use Emma Spring's styling services to bring new life to these clothes in a sustainable, creative way. Emma is extremely personable and friendly; when I scheduled my appointment, she went through my closet with me and asked me to pull any pieces that I love but rarely end up wearing. We went through each item carefully and she asked a few questions to learn what I liked about the clothes and what I didn't like. Being in a pandemic, I have gained some quarantine pounds so most of my issues stem from gaining weight & feeling uncomfortable, or that the clothes were no longer flattering on me. This can be a pretty vulnerable experience, especially with trying clothes on, but Emma is a true professional. I felt very comfortable in front of her and she offered great insights as to what cuts and styles are most flattering on my body. We brainstormed a couple ideas for upcycling together while she took measurements and jotted notes down. I just received my new outfits back and I'm truly blown away with how great each item turned out! Everything turned out exactly as we had discussed and it was all flattering and comfortable to wear. I feel great knowing that I can get renewed use out of these outfits without having to purchase any new clothing. It's great to upcycle by donating and letting someone else get use out of your clothes, but it's even better to get that use out of it myself and know it's not ending up in a landfill right away. It's also fantastic knowing that each of these pieces are one of a kind and custom made for my body and frame. If you are looking for any kind of update to your wardrobe, I highly recommend Emma Spring! She can truly work magic with your clothes and bring them new life.

Excellent stuff. Emma did exactly what I wanted without me even knowing that I wanted it. I had a disaster garage and now I want to just go into my garage for no reason but to just admire the organization. Very good value here for the money!

Like so many others I used my closet as the "junk drawer" of my apartment. Out of sight, out of mind was what I thought. This made finding specific items very difficult, if not impossible. What Emma was able to do was provide peace of mind. One less factor of stress to weigh me down. Not only did she completely re organize my closet (color coded, mind you), she was able to neatly and creatively provide alternative storing options for the shoes and accessories that were otherwise strewn about the bottom and top of the space.
