Of all the carpet cleaning companies I've used, Encore stands out as the bet. They do an excellent job. They provide excellent customer service, they are professional and courteous. I appreciate that they even give a confirmation call when they are on their way to the appointment.

It wasn't quite what I expected, but they did fine. They didn't charge more than the $99 special. What they did, they did fine. They were on time. I wouldn't use them again, not for the fact of what they did, just the fact that what I need is more than grout cleaning. One worker came.

I did not know before I purchased the "special" through Angie's List that ECC would not do a single room if the wood ran into another room. I had to agree to $200 on top of the $89. The owner began the actual job and all was fine till he left and another "technician" finished--or rather didn't finish. ECC did not call me to ask if I was satisfied, so I called to say there were several spots without a finishing coat. When the same technician came out, he redid the room with spots, but still did not get all of them covered. Overall it was 2 weeks of disruption keeping furniture off the floor.

To start off with, I had absolutely no issues getting an appointment time or with Encore showing up on time and getting the actual job done. And, they DID do a good job overall (minus leaving an odor behind that was not in my house before - I suppose I expected that cleaning the hard woods would leave behind a pleasant smell instead but that was not the case). However, my issues came with how I was dealt with over the phone. The manager ultimately recommended that I get my floors completely refinished rather than a simple clean after he came out for a quote, which I appreciated. However, I still went with the simple clean at the time (due to budgeting). After I made that decision, the manager made it sound as if he was doing me a favor by only performing the cleaning, rather than just simply agreeing to the job. On top of that, he complained several times over the phone about how we wasn't necessarily making much money on this job because of the type of cleaning I requested, and also claimed that my Angie's List credit was going to be reflected in his vague discount (even after which ended up at just over $400 for 1000 sqft. of cleaning, which seemed high to me). I'd consider hiring Encore again for the good end result, but wouldn't necessarily look forward to dealing with them over the phone moving forward.

It was fine. <br /> <br /> It was just normal. <br /> <br /> Normal what I expected, I can't say it was anything magnanimous or what have you, I needed the carpets clean as well and I needed the tile clean, I had expect the tiles to be a little bit cleaner but yeah no big sweat that I needed to do it so it was okay.
