<p>All went well in the beginning. Then there was the storm 19 September 2015. The screen door ended up in the back yard. I called numerous times, spoke to Amy, faxed, and emailed, asking if someone could come and put the screen door back up. Mr. Butner came and picked up the screen, and, I made mention of the screen's distortion. He stated he would take the screen, do the necessary repairs, and reinstall it. A few days later, I find the screen on my front porch......no card, no note, nothing. I called again and asked if someone could please come out and reinstall the screen. Received a call from Mr. Butner on 5 October 2015 at 11:49AM stating he would be out at the end of that day to install the screen. A no-show. Received an email on 6 October 2015 stating he would be out to install the screen on that day. Again, another no-show. Not real pleased with the follow-up....at all. Still waiting to have my screen door put back up...this date: 7 October 2015. (Please note: I don't understand why the screen door should have come off in the first place, after being installed in just under 2 months)<br /> On Wednesday 7 October 2015, Mr. Davis, the gentleman that services my lawn, took the screen door from my kitchen where it had been propped up for almost 2+ weeks, and put it up for me. (which was NOT his job nor his responsibility to do)<br /> Also, Mr. Butner called on 8 October 2015 at 6:57PM with excuses for all the above mentioned complaints, and, stated that he "had something in the mail for me to compensate for the broken collectibles " his crew broke while installing the door(s). To date, nothing has arrived via mail.</p>

.The final grade is a D. I purchased Angie's list deal for patio door install. Steve came out and measured the door and said it would be a few weeks before the installation could be done. Once the installation date came around, I left work early to be home - and a few hours later received a call that no installation would happen that day. Things happen and therefore rescheduled again. This second time, again left work early to meet the installer - no show again! Steve called and said he was sorry and that, "this kind of stuff does not happen to him and his company." I pointed out that it had happened twice. He did accommodate me somewhat by doing a Saturday install as i told him I would not miss any more time at work. He also offered to "make up" for the poor service by installing landscape lighting. When I returned his call about the lighting - I have never heard back from him. Overall - I do not trust this man or his company. And it appears that there are many reviews recently that concur with this sentiment.

I have used Energy Secure Solutions several times now and they have been great from start to finish. Steve showed up on the appointment time and showed me many options. Steve lets me pick the product and is very patient with the process. Once the contract was signed Steve told me exactly what to expect and when. The workers showed up on time, did the work in a timely manner, and cleaned up with no issues. The job once again was done with great precision and great craftsmanship. Once again, a job well done by Energy Secure. I will continue to use Energy Secure for all my construction needs!

I asked around at work for a good contractor as I needed to upgrade my windows and my insulation. A friend of mine recommended Steve with Energy Secure Solutions, Inc. So needless to say I called and got Steve on the phone he worked around my schedule to give me an appointment that fit my schedule. Steve showed up on time and showed me a window that fit right into my budget. He also climbed into the attic to look at my insulation. He showed me how I was under insulated and gave me a price that also fit right into my budget. Steve and his workers are very professional. His workers cleaned up and did an awesome job. I know Steve's company is a full service construction company which means I will use him for every construction need I have. He said not a problem, he has all the connections in town to get it done and quoted me 3 weeks maximum. Now he says he cannot do the window, and said he never agreed to it. I also requested he door access to the outside to match the front door - another "Oh, yeah not a problem." He was giving me the run around, saying it is coming in parts, and is on back order, so I called the supplier myself. He told the supplier not to give me any information. He fired the contractor working on my project and my project sat for more than a month. Then I had to go out on my own and find all the contractors myself. The only reason I hired him because he said he could get it done no problem. He told me he was going to sue me if I file any complaints.

A few years ago I had Energy Secure Solutions install insulated vinyl siding on my home. I met with Steve and he explained the process, the product and the cost in detail I was impressed with his professionalism and patience in taking the time to explain everything to me and to understand my needs. I was talking at work that I needed a bunch of work done and my coworker told me to call Energy Secure Solutions (ESS). She said that she used ESS and that the work was perfect and the service was great! So I took her word and called for an appt. Steve, the owner, came out and not some silly salesman. He educated me on what products would work best for my budget and for longevity. Steve was on time, and made sure that he worked around my schedule. Once again, EnergySecure Solutions hit a homerun! We've hired ESC before so I knew I'd be satisfied but I am overly pleased with this job. The heated bathroom floor is awesome and Steve made it affordable for our budget because originally we didn't think we could. Steves crews were punctual and professional and it was a very enjoyable experience. <br />

WOW! What a GREAT job by Energy Secure Solutions! Steve, the owner, came out and showed us products that went well with our home and that we could fit into our budget. Steve never tried to "sell" us, but did a great job educating us on the products that worked and looked BEST for our home. Steve gave us a scope of work and a plan that his installers stayed TRUE to till the end of the project. Steve was on the jobsite frequently to make sure that all timelines were met and that the jobsite was clean every night. The project was a long one, but Steve and his installers moved as quick as possible, but making sure the job was done with precision. I wish all contractors were like Steve and Energy Secure Solutions! We are so HAPPY with Steve that we just called him back to do our patio door and a concrete patio. Steve has also done work for our local church on my recommendation. Thank you Energy Secure for a job WELL DONE!!! <br />

We contacted five companies, two of the five showed up. Energy Secure Solutions was the second company to arrive at our house on time and prepared to show us ALL of the company's supplies and references. We were very pleased with Steve the owners' professionalism and friendly attitude. Steve was great to work with and was always making sure our concerns were addressed. Making such a huge purchase is a bit stressful and Steve was always accommodating and reassuring us that his crew would take care of our concerns. All in all, we were very pleased and have now completed our upgrades through Energy Secure Solutions. We will use this company in the future for all of our "house flipping" needs.

The subcontractor for Energy Secure Solution that replaced the siding did a decent job, but dropped a ladder through our kitchen window. He was very apologetic and upset about it happening. Everyone was grateful that no one was in the kitchen when it happened. He quickly boarded up the windows and contacted Energy Secure Solutions about replacing it. We happened to have another window that needed replaced and asked them to do both. The wrong window was ordered multiple times and the ESS either cancelled or didn't show up when they said they would. They also pointed blame to the window company and were very unprofessional in speaking about their employees. The amount of time I wasted dealing with this was more than the window would cost. I will not be contacting them for any type of service in the future.

The quality is good, but the service is terrible. I had to constantly call them because it took them about three months or more to even get to the point that my order is being placed. The first person that came to place the order made the measurements and then he sent somebody else to actually take the accurate measurements and even at that, they said the doors that I've ordered can't work with the measurements, so we went back to square one. There was a lot of confusion and miscommunication with the people that works there. Therefore, it took a good six months before I actually had the doors replaced.

I began working with Energy Secure Solutions with my first roof replacement due to hail damage some years back. I have since had them do a second roof due to hail damage, gutters, and now all new windows. Steve worked very hard with my insurance company to help me in any way that he could. His company was and always is very professional. I believe the job went smoothly from start to finish. <br /> I met with Steve to select exactly what I needed. He was able to match the color and design of the shingle, so that my homeowner's association architectural review committee did not need to be consulted. We upgraded to ridge vents to allow for maximized airflow in the attic. He matched the color of the trim to the color of our house trim. And since it was an insurance job, he patiently waited to hear back from me on the status of our insurance check, never once asking me what insurance will or will not cover. He knows the process like the back of his hand and assured me through the process. <br /> I met with his project manager just before work started several months later, after insurance money was endorsed by all parties on the check. Mark told me what to expect when work started, that a truck of supplies will drop a few days before the job was scheduled. He told me to make sure the items on the pallets were what I wanted on the house. And when it came, the shingles were not the right color. Mark was on it immediately, and before I knew it, the wrong stuff was picked up and replaced with the right. <br /> I was introduced to the roofing crew. I watched and talked with them through the two days they were on my roof. With weather in the forecast, they systematically tore off and repaired only what they knew they could finish in the window of time before rain fell. The crew was easy to talk to, and at one point, I asked if the issues I had on one area of the house had been explained to them. They had not heard of it before so I addressed it directly with them. They noticed and fixed all areas of my concern and even some I had not known about. I was impressed with the six nails per shingle instead of three or four. I was impressed with the neatness of the crew, picking up tossed shingles and nails out of shrubs and landscaping. I was impressed with the attention to breakables (statuary and windows/glass) and those items were moved or shielded. I was impressed with the OSB board on the driveway under their work truck to protect my driveway from oil. I was impressed with their courtesy towards my neighbor's yard, keeping their work gear in my yard. I was worried after the job was completed about the trailer that hauled the old roof away, that it was going to shred my driveway as the hitch stand didn't retract enough for the clearance in my steep driveway and apron. But, the team worked with more compressed boards and inched their way slowly, moving the boards to protect the drive from the stand, without incident. <br /> Angela, from Steve's office, called a few days later to remind me of the balance due on the job! How cool was that? <br /> Job well done. <br />
