English Builders, Inc. was established in 1983, building a reputation of elegant custom homes on your property. Paul English, President, has been building the highest quality residential custom homes across the greater Atlanta area and would be honored to build your dream home. The English Builders history of building custom homes began in 1983 in Dekalb County. Paul English, President, began in a small subdivision in the Northlake area. His trademark was his ability to adapt and customize the home to meet his homeowners’ lifestyles. Paul oversees the day-to-day operations of every project. He is the supervisor of construction to insure that homes are built well from start to finish with the quality and personal attention that has established and maintains English Builders, Inc. as an exceptional home builder in the greater Atlanta area for over 27 years.

update to previous listing. Seems Angie is in thehabit of cencering the reviews of premier members. Photos of job were abliterated and not up for people to review. I will post them again in this review. He is not the person he claims to be. Failed attempts to have my home work completed have fallen on deaf ears. ne response and no remorse for leaving senior citizens without working litchen and no running water. Had to get anouther contractor to finish and correct his incompetent subs lack of discipline and pride in their workmanship. Gave this man every oppurtunity to complete the task and he chose to ignore. Just as Angie did by not listening to my concerns and complaints about the service I have recieved by their representatives. Several called and asked what had occured and I rerpeated the same story to them. No action on Angie's organizations part just lip service and cencoring photos of the damage and uncompleted work by this company. I asked why this happened and Angie could not come up with an adequate response. Smoke and mirros is the plan of action it seems. Do not use this contractor if you value your home and your existance becuase since he entered mine and my wifes it has been pure **** on earth.

update to previous posting. As of today's date Mr. English and I are in a deadlock and have turned over my project to a lawyer to proceed against him for the money and damages to my home. Mr. English could care less so I will enter into arbitration to resolve and claim will be processed. Do not enter into any agreement with this individual unless you are prepared to be disappointed and lied to and delayed numerous time and not get what your hard money deserves.

Follow up to previous posting. Another meeting to get problems fixed and damages by subs resolved. Mr. English agreed to get the items completed and we set a DEADLINE FOR WORK TO BE COMPLETED. Once again my wife and I are looking for items to be worked on and repairs to be resolved. Mr. English is nowhere to be found nor his inept subcontractors who disavow our requests and refuse to do what is just and right. Basement door is still broken and several items on our list of items have been addressed but several are incompleted. I even gave him carte blance and went on vacation for several days to relieve the stress this project was putting on my wife and made arrangements for leaving a key so his subs and he could complete tasks. HE HAS FAILED IN ALL CATAGORIES. HIS SUBS DID THE MINIMAL AMOUNT OF WORK IN 6 WEEKS. I REPEAT 6 WEEKS. As such I do not recommend English Builders or subcontractors for any work. If you decide to use this man it is at your own peril and consequence. I have to find someone else to finish repairing his subs mistakes and complete this job.

Terrible. non existant communication when required. On site minimal amount of time to direct work. As a consequencse several details had to be redone several attempts and still after three years have no completed sunroom or garage and no work completed to mbr areas.

Terrible, Wanted to fire him when items had to be redone due to his subs not being able to understand english and contruction terms and project details. Very little coordination by Mr. English to get the job s daily requirements completed to the ins. claims content and scope cstompleted. Several times had to have things explained again and again to initiate proper response. Subs worked hard but lacked construction techniques and savvy to handle a owner occupied environment. Dug holes for footings and left trailings on landscape pavers and desimated flower beds by trampling over perinials and annuals that were planted years ago. No respect for property. Had several items in garage to be move and the young man who did work threw things in disarray and broke several exspensive auto parts i had stored for my bussiness. Doorframe to storage room completely destroyed and unuseable due to forceing off hinges. Several other items included in insurance claim not even addressed at time of this writting.

If I had know that i would be $15000.00 poorer and my home torn up and kitchen unuseable and no garage I would have ran away from this guy. Submitted complaint to this agencies costomer service months ago and here he is still on the honor roll getting leads and bussiness from your firm.. asked that my problem be addressed by angie and as of this date no action. Premier member and you have my $ 100.00 and i have a messed up life and home. thanks for nothing.

They are great at finding ways of bringing the budget down and in line with what one is expecting to pay. They have done multiple projects for us.

As with the previous experiences with English Builders, Paul ensured continued communication and checked all the work himself. Problems that arose were addressed and mutually agreed on how to get resolved. We had no outstanding issues.
