Environmental Pest Management

The technician, Josh, arrived as scheduled. He was very professional. He examined the vent and identified the pests as yellow jackets wasps. Based on the number of wasps he felt certain that there was a nest inside the chimney. He also inspected adjacent areas for signs of the wasps. He then treated the vent with three different chemicals to kill the wasps. It's been two days and there are no signs of insects. I was concerned about the nest because the air intake vent leads directly to the fireplace; thereby increasing the chances that the wasps could get into the house.

The company pumped termite pesticide in my basement after a foundation miscalculation. Jason and his crew their best to remedy the spill by bleaching the basement and knocking 20% off the bill (no remedy for the destroyed personal belongings-mostly books/notebooks) <br /> <br />~2 years later (8/1/15) while power washing my front door water seeped into the basement via a crack in the foundation.Unfortunately-and unbeknownst to me-the water mixed with some dried pesticide on plywood from the previous accident. Of course I only learned that pesticide was in the water AFTER my hands, feet and eyes tingled from the chemical irritation (hours/days later) from the clean up. <br /> <br />I called Jason on Monday (8/3/15) to explain the situation. While he patiently listened to my predicament his tone shifted to one of defensiveness and hostility at my suggestion that he remediate the situation by replacing the chemically affected plywood with a new sheet of plywood. <br /> <br />My hope is that we can amicably resolve this situation to restore the basement to its original state, however, the damage done to the trust I put in Jason and Environmental Pest Mgmt. is most likely irreparable. <br />

They do a fine job.

Some of the ants damage wood and others are just after your kool aid.

I think their price is fair for what I get.  I will use them again in the future.

It went terrific. They do good work. I live by the forest so we have some spider problems, but they have done a great job keeping them away for the last five years.

It was just a regular routine check. They said they would be back in August though for a summer treatment. They never called or showed up. There was supposed to be one in the fall as well and we still haven't heard from them.

Have not seen any since treatment. Professional service provided. Jason took his time doing the inspection and did a thorough job. He showed up when he said he would and answered all of my questions. I was pleased with the work. Work is guaranteed for 3 years.

It was very good. I called them one day, they came out the next day to give me an estimate, and then came back to do the work the following day. They were professional, courteous, and friendly.

I have used this company for 5 years. I have always been very satisfied with their work. The owner, Jason Carpenter, has also been polite and efficient and on time.

They were professional and did timely work and cleaned up after themselves.

They arrived on time and sprayed both the exterior and 2 interior areas of my home. However, we kept seeing ants in the kitchen and living room areas. I called back and was told to wait a bit for the chemicals to work. Ultimately, they were still around after the waiting period, so I had the company come back to spray again. It took a little while longer to schedule that second visit, but it seems to have done the trick as we are no longer experiencing ants.

THEY ARE VERY RESPONSIVE TO ANY PROBLEMS.

They come out quarterly.

Environmental arrived within a day or two. They did an initial extermination and returned twice more in the following week to completely clear the area and clean up nests(hives?) that had been knocked down. Were very responsive and thorough. We had no more problems.

Jason was very prompt in returning phone calls. He did a great job and even cleaned the old cob webs off the house.

Some flies that had invaded my house. I went to Lowe's and bought a spray that kills flies in a room where ventilation is blocked out. I also put out a fly trap outside the house, which was successful. However, flies kept coming in. We placed a call to ENVIRONMENTAL PEST MANAGEMENT LLC, having found them from Angie's List. Jason called us on a Sunday morning and asked me about the problem. After hearing me out, he assured us that flies were coming in from the outside and I should keep using the spray and cleaning up any dead ones. We had thoroughly cleaned the house, which I told Jason. He asked us to "hang in there"! That advice was welcome since we knew that it wasn't anything [like food] but merely a mother that had gotten in and eggs hatching. Jason said that the life pan of these green-tinted flies wasn't very long and that I should see a decrease in their numbers, I did. Jason inspected the house and made sure that there was no other possibility of flies getting in.

I called this company for termite problems. The owner of the company Jason Carpenter came to do a very thorough inspection of the house especially the crawl space and also found carpenter ant infestation. He gave very detailed explanation on the treatment and the contract. The product for the treatment is Termidor which was proved most effective at this time. I will know for sure next year. There is a 5 year warranty, the company will return to do re=inspection on 1st, 3rd, 5th year of the original date. That certainly gave me peace of mind. The treatment was done on schedule. After it was done, the landscape was back to the original form. I am very happy with this company.

I contacted Environmental Pest Management through their website and received a return call from Jason within 30 minutes. We discussed our pest control needs - we had 5 LARGE field ant nests in our yard and everything we had tried to get rid of them just made the ants angry and stronger. Jason suggested their quarterly program which runs $140 per treatment. With the Columbus Blue Jackets referral discount, the first treatment is free. We scheduled our first treatment within a few days. Jason arrived and treated our yard and the outside of our home. He left a message on my cell phone explaining what was done and that we should not see any more ants. He explained that if we do see any insects, he would return and treat again without charge. We have not seen any more live ants (LOTS of dead ones) and have seen a drastic decrease in the insects found in the house.

I highly highly recommend them. I thought the price was very fair.

They would have done the work the day that they came out to give an estimate but the damage was so high up on the house that they needed special equipment and had to come back. They did a great job.

I'm a returning client. Jason does a wonderful job. He always listens to my concerns.
