"We were recommended to this person by their HOA because of all the great work we have done for them and over a dozen homeowners in this neighborhood. We have never had a single complaint from any of the work we've done for any of the people in this neighborhood and we are the contractor of choice for this and for many other HOA's and Property Mgmt Companies. Not one word in this person's statement is accurate and in my opinion this is nothing more than an attempt to hurt our company. Bottom line is these people moved out here from back east and the home they purchased long distance is a nightmare. There are so many major problems with this home from the foundation up they are to many to list. The inside floor of this home is a floating concrete slab/floor that has sank and failed and just like the garage floor slab we replaced, there are up to 2' deep voids underneath the concrete. When we removed the garage floor slab we could literally see these huge voids under the home and the concrete floor. We actually did a ton of extra work for these people at no additional charge to try and help them by moving tons of substrate material in underneath their homes concrete floor and we also drilled in quite a few steel dowels for additional support. We were not hired to address these problems, but we did everything we could to help and of course there is no mention of any of this by the homeowner in their review. The work we did was perfect and beautiful and was even featured with photos on a website page. We made 9 additional visits after this job was completed and spent 37 extra man hours trying to make these people happy by doing things we would never do on any other job from moving rocks and boulders to bringing in top soil for their yard to sealing every square inch of the concrete we poured with commercial concrete sealers to replacing concrete that had nothing wrong with it and we were not paid for any of it. Every time I went over there to settle up they would come up with something totally different and off the wall for a reason they were not going to pay us and they would give me a [Member Information Removed] laundry list of the ridiculous things they wanted done. Since 1985 I have never dealt with anyone like this or had as much difficulty dealing with a customer and I've never tried harder or done more to try and make someone happy. What's really a shame is that someone can get on the internet and write whatever they want unchecked to harm someone and take food off their table and not even bat an eye doing it. If you are concerned about this one review I would be happy to email you photos of the job and you can decide for yourself."

"I'm sorry you are not happy, but you haven't contacted me once and you left out a few things. 1. I offered to do an $800.00 epoxy garage floor coating free of charge to cover the small mark. 2. We never, ever run drain pipes all the way down to where water runs and gushes out directly on the sidewalk, but we went ahead and did it the way you wanted and the drain pipe ended buried in the rock garden, it did not end under any concrete. 3. It is not uncommon to run out of concrete on a job, it happens all the time and the remainder of the concrete was delivered immediately. The reason we were short was because we poured most of the driveway at 5" to 6" thick instead of the contracted 4" because of the sinking that had occurred over the years from leaking sprinkler lines under the old driveway and we did not charge anything for the additional concrete. 4. Underneath the old driveway it was a muddy swamp from existing leaking sprinkler lines running under the old driveway which we replaced and we had to bring in an extra 2 tons of water absorbent substrate material because of all the water that had been leaking. We also completely replaced over 20 feet of a buried down spout pipe. None of this was in the contract, but we did it so there wouldn't be problems in the future and all we charged the customer for was the cost of the new sprinkler line and parts and the cost of the new drain pipe. We did not charge for the 2 tons of water absorbent substrate material or the additional 1 and a half yards of concrete. The thing that I don't understand is I've heard nothing from this customer, they haven't contacted us once since we finished this job. All they have to do is contact us and if there is anything we can do to make them happier we will do it just like we always do and always have done. If they are not happy about something or if they don't understand something, contact us first and at least give us a chance to try and help them. I personally go out of my way (within reason) to make sure our customers are happy, but I cannot do that if they don't talk to me. Simply going on the internet and doing a bad review on a company is not the way to resolve an issue."

"We built one of the most incredible, beautiful patios we have ever built for this customer. This was also one of the most difficult jobs we have done in years. The job site was in a back yard on a large property and the closest the concrete truck could get was over 100 feet from the pour. We had to demo and haul away an existing elevated concrete patio and a set of approx 13 steps going down into the lower yard and we expanded the size of the new patio. It blows me away how someone can expect in their mind that to do a major construction project like this there is not going to be any collateral damage. We spent a week on this job in all types of weather during the late winter. We had to hand chisel, drill and hammer concrete away from an outdoor BBQ and kitchen. We have actually featured this job on social media because in my opinion it was a major accomplishment and again, it is absolutely awesome. Notice the customer did not say anything about the actual concrete work itself that we did. We have gone back over to this persons property on several occasions, we replaced a vinyl fence post and we re-graded a very low quality service road that was literally poured with some sort of a breeze material with zero road base material under it. We spent over $800.00 just on plywood to lay down in the back yard where we came in and out with a skid steer and mostly wheel barrels, but it did still leave very minor impressions in the grass. This is by no means anything major and it is a very easy fix with just a little bit of top soil. It literally did not even destroy the grass, it just made some very shallow impressions in the lawn which I have already told this customer IN WRITING that we will be more than happy to bring some top soil over and do this for him. Here in Colorado we had record amounts of moisture with both rain and snow in the month of May or we would have already had this done. Since we finished this job the customer keeps coming up with more things that he says we did and wants fixed, he says that we broke some old concrete curbing along one edge of this breeze service path (that's not on his property) with the concrete truck, but we used a 120' concrete line pump which cost us over $900.00 and the concrete truck did not come within 50 feet of where he claims this damage is. Bottom line: I wish I could attach photos of this job on here, but if you go on our facebook page you will see this job. We will have top soil and grass seed in place in the shallow impressions we left in his yard sometime this month. End of story."

"FIRST OF ALL WE FINISHED THE PORCH FOR THIS CUSTOMER AT THE END OF OCTOBER. He also told me that he would update this review to reflect this and he did not do it. We deducted the porch off of his original bill and told him we would collect for the porch when we could get back over there and replace it. We were hired to replace a driveway and a very small front porch. We replaced the driveway right away, ahead of schedule and this customer raved about the great job we did. We could not replace the porch at the same time we replaced the driveway because it turned out that what we thought was only 4" to maybe 6" thick was 16" thick. We had no idea it was this thick because it was hidden underground and no one told us. I explained to the customer that it was going to take us 3 to 4 times longer to do the porch because of this surprise and we needed to rent some special tools and we would have to come back to do the porch at a later date (which of course we did). Even though we deducted the porch from the original bill, this customer added it back on and paid it anyway because he wanted to make sure that we would be back to do the porch. He also of course knew that we were charging him about 1/3rd what we should have charged him to replace this porch. I told him we would have it replaced as soon as we could and that it would for sure be replaced before winter and it was. As always, we did a great job and gave this customer a beautiful new driveway and front porch/landing and even though we had mis-bid the porch and we could have per our contract charged more for the hidden, underground concrete, we only charged him the original amount even though it was 3 times more work and almost 4 times more concrete. Turns out the real problem here was this customer listed his home for sell after we were first there doing the driveway and he was incredibly impatient wanting us to replace the porch to help sell the home. BOTTOM LINE: EnviroShapes did everything we were contracted to do and then some, we did not charge the customer a single extra dollar for all the extra work and materials and his new concrete was done as well as anyone on the planet would have or could have done it for him. Then he goes online and drops this review on us. Also, I spoke with this customer about this review and he told me that he would change it and update it to show that all of the work had been finished and when, but of course he did not do that."
