"On the first appointment we went and made a small repair at no charge for the service visit or for the repair. A second appointment was established and the customer called and changed the date. He threatened us that if we did not go fast enough he would give us a negative review on Angie’s list, “You will not like what I will say about you guys on A.L.” I knew that if I didn’t go the review would be bad, regardless. Mr. [removed member name] did not let me do my job. First of all, he called the plumber after he had tried working on it and while I was there he was telling me what do and how to do it. I re-built the powder room toilet and I gave him a brass/gold pop-up assembly for the 2nd floor tub, that alone with a special order cost was $60.00 and he didn’t even let me install it. For all of this he paid us $100. Why does he not mention how much he paid for this service? $100.00, other companies in the industry or most companies just charge this just to go out to your house. Remember the first appointment was at no charge. We do not bargain, he was the one who paid us what he wanted to pay. It is very unfortunate you go out and do your best and Mr. [removed member name] believes it is not good enough. We treat every customer with professionalism, integrity, & respect, EVERYONE! In simple English some people take advantage. There is no doubt in my mind that this customer is a “cousin” or “brother” of one of our competitors. In my opinion this is a clear case of sabotage. We did exactly what he asked us to do and he paid us exactly what he wanted to pay. He was advised of our rates and he said no, I am going to pay $100. We accepted it just to make him happy."
