The siding looks good but the nails are popping out of the capping.  Mr. Estes has been contacted and stated he is not coming back because he lost money doing the job.  Not our fault he doesn't know how to price the job. <br />

Jerry Estes was an excellent choice for replacing my roof.  He helped me pick out the best shingles for my house.  Jerry and his team showed up on time and absolutely left the work area spotless at the end of the work day.  He explained in detail everything that he was doing.  He is detailed oriented and it shows in his work.  As a homeowner, I appreciate the honesty and integrity that he put into his work.  His price was fair and he always went the extra mile when it came to additional requests.  I would definitely recommend and use Jerry Estes Contracting for any type of home work needed.  My home looks great!  Thanks.  <br />

Very professional, he did a great job.

After a strong wind in the spring we noticed a few strips of siding had torn away from the upper, north side of our house. We chose Estes & Sons Contracting (siding specialists) from Angie’s List to come out. Jerry said he could re-attach the pieces--no need to use some of the matching siding from our shed for the repair. They were quick and charged $400.00. Everything seemed fine for a few months; however, we were surprised to discover water dripping through the ceilings of a bedroom and the office on our main floor. The difference was rainstorms with winds from the north. We moved furniture out of the way and put pails and towels on the hardwood floors. We have water damage on the ceilings and one wall. Due to ill health we couldn't climb up to inspect the repair at the time it was done. It looked OK from ground level. Now, we took a closer look and found the repair was shoddy (nails sticking out, gaps, dented sections). Over a week ago we called Jerry asking him to come out and correct the problem. He said he would come on the weekend, likely Sunday pm. Late Sunday we called him and left a message. We called back throughout this past week and received a message each time--and no return call.

Jerry was very responsive.  We wanted to get these jobs done quickly - and he called back the day I left my message, gave us an in-person estimate the next day, and performed the work within the week.  He was very no-nonsense and focused on the job.  His pricing was very reasonable compared to other roofers.  <br /> <br /> (He was a bit rushed during the estimate, as he needed to get back home quickly - this led to a bit of a misunderstanding about exactly which work we wanted done.  When he performed a job I hadn't intended to request, he told me I didn't need to pay for it!  I paid for the full job anyway, because it wasn't too expensive and because he'd been so quick and reliable that I wanted him to be happy to work  for us in the future.) <br /> <br /> So, slight misunderstanding, but a very positive experience overall.

Went fantastic.  My schedule is terrible, but he worked with me and we met, agreed on a cost, and he came around and did the repairs.  

I called him for emergency service. They came in time and helped me out. But to complete the job, he gave me a very high price. I had to call another company who gave me a reasonable price and an excellent job

Fantastic service. Downspout blew off the house late on 12/23 - called Jerry and he came out in 30 minutes to take a look. He provided a very reasonable estimate. He was ready to fix it there and then, but needed to get a longer ladder (house is 30 foot high!). He returned before 9am next day (christmasEve!) and fixed everything . Very personable and professional. Would him again with any exterior work.

They gave me a senior discount and also an Angie's List discount. The price end up being really good. The job that they did was excellent. They even reinforced parts of the roof before the put up the siding. They really made it look attractive. When ever I called them they showed up right away. With all the extra things they did, they still kept the estimated price.

Jobs were started and completed in a timely fashion. The clean up was to a broom finish.

They were great. They were very professional, they got the work done in a timely manner, and I just thought they were really good. We got some estimates from them for some more work to be done in the future.

They are good, there were no problems at all. They do a nice job. He's a decent and competent contractor that does a good job at a fair price. They did it when they said they would, they stayed with the job and I've had a lot of contract work that didn't go that way. I had no problems with them.

With the exception of missing 1 day the 4 day job preceded as scheduled. The crew was friendly and easy to work with. The owner/contractor was not just a salesman but actually did the work with good quality and an interest to see the job come out well. All the debris was removed and the job was left broom clean.
