The job was to build a foundation and stem wall. All that has been done is about 4-5 hours of digging by one person. The framing was to be placed on Friday, August 5, 2022 so it could be inspected on Monday, August 8th and concrete poured on Tuesday, August 9th. We had to cancel the inspection and had Tony come back several times since. Promising to get his crew there and that never happened. He originally gave us a proposal for $6,000 and then changed it to $6,800. He came back this week after not doing any further work and said he was increasing his quote to $9,000. We have asked for a refund and now he is not answering his phone or responding to our messages. He no longer wants to do the job and that is mutual but we are out $1,800 and now looking for a new contractor weeks after we hired Oceania Construction.

"Hi [Member Name Removed], thank you for your review, as you know you gave the plan first, then gave you the first price? then next day you gave another different plan from the first one, refer to what you said, the city stop your works as you trying to short cut but not follow the plan, anyway so I have to raise the price regarding to the works to do and the different plans you gave, digging it's a lots of works to do, and I told you Saturday , will be refund you the balance after buying all the material, you know that already, you keep the material and refund you the balance."

Very poorly. 1] They left pieces of glass, nails and shards of wood in the soil where they tore down the shed. It is dangerous to sift through the soil to remove it. 2] They did not abide by their contract to remove the old 13' x 18'concrete floor of the shed, saying it was not necessary. When asked to amend the price, they gave back just $100. 3] They did not get the size of the concrete slab right, and the corners were not square (90 degrees). This resulted in the need to prop up a corner of the new Tuff Shed I bought with wood shims, which will no doubt rot out in a few years. 4] When I asked to make things right or give me a partial refund, they refused to respond.

I planned to replace my old concrete driveway back to 2019. Finally it was well done by Tohi and his team last week. Long story in short. I tried to contact many concrete companies to get a quality work with reasonable price. Tohi is the one I contacted since 2019. He is very friendly and hard working, his price is very competitive. With good communications, I placed my trust in him, his 20+year concrete work experience didn't disappoint me. Nothing is easy; Communication and Trust are not difficult either. My new driveway looks beautiful:). Happy.

They work very well. I'm building a new house. I'm gonna hire them again. I was very satisficed. They were very reliable. I have no complaints. When you call them, they'll come for you right away. I am satisfied with their rates.
