My Everguard Attic insulation was exceptionally in every way. Very Knowledgeable, and efficient. Logan explained everything well and told me everything I need to know. The job went perfect and everytthing was cleaned up before they left. As a bonus, I believe their pricing was also the best. I highly recommend them.

Everguard was excellent - they insulated under our house with fiberglass and blew cellulose insulation in selected exterior walls, from the outside. They handled our very shallow crawl space under the house. It was a big job since our joists have non-standard spacing. They were under the house for many hours, and in good spirits. The fiberglass was brought in through an open window near the crawl space access.S elected walls were filled with cellulose from the outside. Plugging the hole made in the vapor barrier and then closing the stucco wall. They were fast and efficient.

They did a Great job removing and Installing Cellulose Insulation. There Bids was easy and straight forward. It was just what I wanted done. The price was very Competitive. Great Company to use for my Job.

Prepaid deal for R38 blown insulation. Service was arranged and done in an efficient and timely manner. Insulation really helps to keep the temperature comfortable without having to overuse heating/ac system.

Everything about my experience with this company was excellent. On the phone Everguard worked with me to help prep the attic to keep my costs down. Basically they helped streamline the process since some of the things I wanted to do wound up being unnecessary. The most valuable advice was how to prepare the attic immediately around the attic access to prevent blown in insulation from falling down when you enter while still maintaining most of your R value in that area. The technicians arrived exactly on time and, since the attic was completely prepped, they were able to begin. They started with an accurate measuring of the attice square footage (which matched my estimate) and then immediately began with the blown in. To achieve R-38, the blown in insulation must be 10 inches high. We had some visual references established in the attic to double check the depth and it became very clear that they exceeded the 10 inches by at least 3 inches overall, so I am guessing that I have closer to R-50 than R-38. My other concern was that they would not block my soffit vents. To ensure proper air flow they slope the insulation down to the soffit vent openings, and then use a lawn blower from the outside through the vents to ensure that an unblocked tunnel to the vent is established. It's actually a very good system. (the WhirleyBirds on my roof spin just as quickly as they did before, so I am confident the air flow was not compromised.) The total job took around 3 hours & they cleaned up after themselves without leaving a trace. The only remnant of the job is that the house has a slightly musty paper smell for a few days, although it is actually quite pleasant. It smells like an old library. The technician estimated that since I went from R-0 (no insulation) to at least R-38 (fully insulated) that from experience I should expect a 10 degree change in temperature (down in Summer & up in Winter) and a 30% savings on my energy bill. It has been unnaturally cool since the install, so I haven't been able to fully test these claims. HOWEVER, I was working in my house a couple of weeks ago and the house was a comfortable 71 degrees (based upon my thermostat) with obviously no air conditioner runner. When i stepped outside (it was around 3:30 in the afternoon, I was quite surprised to see that the outside temperature was 95 degrees and quite warm. I was shocked. I will be curious to see later this summer when the outside temperature exceeds 100 degrees, but from what I have experienced thus far, I think a 30 percent drop in electricity may be a low estimate. So in summary: Everguard Insulation gave me excellent information before the scheduled insulation, worked quickly and efficiently during the install, installed more than the 10 inches they promised me, there were no surprises with costs, and the results are actually better than they predicted. Finally, Everguard Insulation is listed on the approved venders for SoCal gas, so applying for a rebate can be done easily online. My rebate was $322, so my final price was $2,128 (I did receive a 5% discount for paying cash). I would highly recommend this company.

Great job from scheduling to cleanup. They worked with me to schedule around other work being done and kept in touch. Their work was efficient and clean; they asked questions and kept me updated to what they were doing. Price was reasonable and I would have them back.

I contacted this company to install wall insulation in my home last Tuesday. They instructed me how to roughly measure the walls I wanted insulated which was nice since they were then able to provide a quote quickly over the phone. The scheduling was also easy and they were able to fit me in the following week. When they came out, the guys were nice and courteous. They re-measure the walls and deduct the exact measurements for my windows so the estimate actually went down. They drilled 2 inch holes every 18 inches top and bottom so there were a ton of holes in my stucco. It didn't take long for them to fill in the insulation. They did a good job cleaning up and the patchwork looked good when they left. Everything up until this point was great. Once the patch started to dry after they left is where I began having some issues. The patch began to crack where the original holes were (not on all the holes but it seemed to happen on the front of my house the most - I'd say about 60% cracked), so you could see the original circular 2 inch hole they drilled out in the wall. Needless to say I was disappointed as I assumed they were experts in patching since they regularly make holes in walls. I reached out to Steve, the owner, as I assumed this was an error they could easily come out to fix but instead was told that this was normal and ALWAYS happens. Really? If that's the case, it would have been nice to know that beforehand so I could decide if I wanted little circles all over the stucco in the front of my home. I feel a little tricked since they weren't upfront about it before they did the work (seeing how it's normal and all for them). It's in fine print on the contract that they are not responsible for how any of the patchwork turns out and will not come back out to fix so just be aware of that fact and be ready to fix stuff yourself if you have any issues. I've had stucco patchwork done on my house before and never had this issue so it was a total surprise for me. The other contractors wet the existing stucco beforehand so that might be the difference. I also didn't appreciate Steve's condescending tone when I reached out to see if we could come to a resolution. He seemed to just fan the fire and make things worse. In the end, I decided to listen to Steve's suggestion of applying two really thick coats of water based primer before the regular paint to fill the cracks. It worked on some of the cracks but not all (this is after two heavy coats of primer and one coat of paint). I'm just really disappointed in how I was treated and the results of the work. It doesn't feel right that I should have to try to fill cracks with paint. We are buying more paint today to try another layer of paint since that's all we can do at this point. That's another $55 down the drain and a few hours of my time I didn't expect to spend.

Quote was lower than another company I called. They came on time and finished the job timely as well. Actually ended up being less than originally quoted, and it's made a difference in the temperature inside my house.

It went very well. The workers were prompt and worked quickly. They patched all of the holes and cleaned up when they were finished. They were very pleasant to work with.

It went excellently! Cynthia was my contact and she responded quickly to every question I posed; and I posed many. One thing I was particularly concerned about was whether Everguard Insulation filled in the holes that would be created on the outside of my home's walls (2 holes of about 2" in diameter every 16" which would mean over 100 for my 1360 square foot home) or if they would just put a Styrofoam plug in the holes. If they just put a plug in the holes, which wouldn't be air tight, protect against varmint or bug invasion, and would not have a stucco covering, then I would have to pay a separate company to do that (one company said they would charge me $15 per hole!). Cynthia assured me that they would fill in each hole and try to match it to the texture of the existing stucco, and each would dry and be air tight and secure. And they were! Two men came out and completed the entire house in one day, and they did a wonderful job! Where my water heater was, they drilled holes in the wall from the inside since that wall couldn't be accessed from the outside--and then filled and patched those holes too (at my request). When they were done, the patches looked good, and they cleaned up after themselves so that you wouldn't know they'd be there! Cynthia did say that the holes would dry in a day and then I would need my painters to come out and paint a good, thick primer over the holes, which I had already scheduled. I was VERY HAPPY with the work of the Everguard crew! I am going to have them do my attic insulation next, and I know they will do a fantastic job!

<p>Not having any reference to go by for attic insulation, I did my own research via Angie’s List (a <i>FANTASTIC</i> website in itself!).  Reading some of the reviews from various companies, <b>EVERGUARD</b> stood out like a beacon!  </p> <p>This company’s first, middle, and last asset is Customer Service - by far!  It started with a phone call where Cynthia was most gracious in answering all of my questions.  The fact that there is a Southern California Gas Company rebate, and a Federal Tax Credit, mentioned during the estimated quote, was the epitome in choosing this company to handle my needs.  (It also states this information on their website as well.)</p> <p><b>EVERGUARD</b> was so gracious, that my appointment was scheduled within a week, due to the fact that I was having an operation eight days later.  This company was so caring, that the employees didn’t want my house "as hot as a furnace", while I am recuperating from surgery.</p> <p>Steven and Anthony arrived on time and were ready to start work right away.  As I have no driveway, but an alleyway instead, the truck parked perpendicular to my opened garage door.  The hose went through the Master Bedroom to the hallway, where the attic access was, which was all of 15 feet.  Both Steven and Anthony answered all of my questions with graciousness.  Steven assessed the square footage in the attic and then I signed the contract.  I chose the Cellulose R-38 Rating, the square footage was 1,246 and the quote was $1,619.</p> <p>After all of the insulation was blown in, Steven had told me that in some places, my attic was down to the bare wood.  Most of what insulation I did have was only an inch deep.  (No wonder my antiquated A/C unit had to work so hard during the summer months!)  It took Steven and Anthony about two hours to complete the project including clean-up.  Those two gentlemen were the personification of what the company represents!  I was told by them, that Anthony had cut his hair, and that Steven had shaved his beard off, due to the upcoming warmer summer months.  (I was so honored, being the first customer to see their improved appearances!)</p> <p><b>EVERGUARD</b>’s standard not only sets-the-bar, it <b><i>IS</i></b> the bar!  There is <b>NO</b> reason to search <b>ANY</b> further than <b>THIS</b> Company, to fulfill your needs for insulation!</p> <p><br></p> <p>MOST sincerely,</p> <p>Thea Errickson</p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p>

Insulation was quick and went very well. They installed R-30 cellulose over top of small amount of old fiberglass insulation to bring attic of 1390 sq. ft single family home to R-38. <br /> This is work that a reasonably handy person can do themselves (with a helper) for a fair bit cheaper so I can't give them an "A" on price. However, I don't want to spend a lot of time crawling around my attic and was willing to pay extra for a professional installation. <br /> If you don't want to do it yourself, then I can't see how anyone can do it better than Everguard. They communicated promptly over both phone and e-mail. They showed up on time for installation. They used a good product. They did a fantastic job and then they cleaned up after themselves. <br />

The workers were very professional and did a great job. Since we had this done in the winter, we noticed immediately how much warmer the houses were, the heater ran less, and there was much less outside noise coming in. <br />

All went well from A to Z (ordering the service to job completion).  The office staff was excellent and the work crew that completed the job were A Plus Plus.  Very much pleased. <br />
