"I met with [Member Name Removed] and his wife prior to seeing this review on May 15th and we walked through the job to try to assess the damages. Originally we recommended an engineering cap on top of his concrete and explained that this was the only structural way to fix the cracks in the driveway. They said that they just want it all to be the same color as there was already patching done and discoloration to the driveway. We patched the existing cracks and sealed the entire driveway but also explained that the cracks will still come through and there was no way around it without putting an engineering cap or replacing it. We resurfaced his entire driveway, we allowed them to pick the color of the sealer that was placed. The resurfacing of the driveway has held up very well but as promised the cracks still came through. After our meeting on the 15th I have explained to them that I will try my best to find a solution that will make them content. Just as we gave our professional recommendation before, I will say it again. An engineering cap or replacement of their concrete is the only way to fix the cracks in their concrete that was there prior to our company beginning work.
