Nightmare experience. Past my issues to the original person whom took my 1K deposit. About the Assigned a person working on my job, whom couldn't work with my schedule. Person unable to follow email notes on a drawing . Couldn't or wouldn't keep a simple roof line. 40 ft. wide truss fits a 40 wide home right! Why make half the house 42' 10" ?when told 40ft truss are order?. Then expect 2k addition cash funds for continue flawed drawings that didn't stay in the original guild lines. I have worked in the building trades most of my life. This is the worst experience I have encountered.
I have explained this to other building tradesmen and supply huts about my experience with this aggravation. unbelievable. Hope no one else looses time and money like I did. Its the time I cant get back that lost on this job...

I had a patio that I wanted to add on to my house but there was existing hardscape we had to work around. they helped with many revisions on the architectural side then got me my structural plans for permit submission and review! it was a pleasure working with them.

Evolution design worked with me on designing and addition for a 100 and 5 year old house. We worked on the dimensions of the addition Plus the materials. Evolution understood the local zoning which was amazing that they knew that.
We have not started construction. And evolution can help pull the permits and I'm considering them for that as well. All in all it was a long project but it was done efficiently, working with several of the staff an the departments.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY! We ordered a set of as built/post construction plans for use in a zoning issue. The contract we signed included a provision to have the plans signed and sealed by a PE in our state so that they can be used for the zoning issue. We added an addendum to our contract indicating the cost for this service would be between $500 and $1,500! They came back with a cost of $2,250!!!! This is clearly well above our agreement! We would not have objected to a couple of hundred dollars, BUT $750 over what we signed up for is NOT GOING SLIGHTLY OVER!!!! NOW WE ARE STUCK WITH ALL THESE PLANS FOR W;HICH WE PAID ALMOST THE SAME AMOUNT, THAT THE COUNTY WILL NOT ACCEPT BECAUSE THERE IS NOT SEAL OR SIGNATURE ON THEM!!! IN OTHER WORDS THEY ARE USELESS! THEY WILL NOT DO ANYMORE! THIS DYLAN PERSON SAID SORRY, WE HAVE DONE ALL WE CAN DO!!!!! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!! THEY ARE ARE ANGIES LIST AND I WILL REVIEW THEM THERE! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

Jessa was wonderful to work with! She explained the process in a way I could understand, was prompt with communications and I actually enjoyed it. She told me building a house might lead to building more and I can see why. It's immensely satisfying to design something and then see it come to life! We were told the drafting would be 3-5 weeks and we took every bit of 5 weeks because we really wanted to take our time in between each revision. I'm glad they didn't hurry us because as a family we did not agree on certain details quickly. Love our forever home and so glad we chose the right place for the design and drafting.

I've worked on many projects with this company from commercial to residential. You share your ideas with the drafts person and they create a rough draft in a short amount of time. Once you move on to the revision process you get to revise your designs three times included in the price! After you approve your design they produce a full construction set which is what you need to go to permitting. They stand by their drafting and offer unlimited redline revisions. This is a wonderful and much needed service for design professionals and contractors for fast & reliable plans.

My experience with Evolution Drafting was beyond what was expected. We needed a site plan expedited for permitting in Calhoun and Lindsey nailed it on the fly! Not only did we receive a quick response time with every email but we also received the site plan quicker than she estimated. The work is finished and they did a great job. They even had some suggestions that helped put the home together. They had a challenge because I was using 2 house plans trying to make a house with both ideas and adding a basement.
There were some troubles with communication and making sure we understood each other and the drafts person we started with left and we started over with another. So the plans took over a year to finish. We were grateful we weren't in a hurry. Once it reached Post delivery, all items not correct or completed were done very quickly and correctly. Post was amazing. My biggest struggle was communicating what/how we wanted things and that was on both sides (mine and theirs) and the length it took to get things done.

They were excellent. They quickly made a draft that only needed 3 minor adjustments. The final product was exactly what I needed. They referred me to a structural engineer for review. The whole process took half of the time that they initially estimated. I would definitely use them again.
