He was great, very flexible. He painted 4 main rooma before I moved in in about 4 days and it was very helpful. He came back later and also did the kitchen and some sheet rock repair and it just generally a very nice guy. He is very careful not to damage any possessions and will assist in moving things. Also cleans up after his work extremely well

Excellent -- Dan showed up as promised and worked diligently to complete the job. While he was here, we asked him to patch a few places inside that needed drywall repair. One of the days that he was here, the weather turned rainy, so he asked if we would like for him to paint the room that had the most drywall patch. The price was very reasonable and he had painted the major portion of our rooms on the first floor for us in August of 2014. He did a great job on that room as well. Every day that he was here, he quit in time to clean up all of the mess and put ladders and things away so we did not have any mess to clean up ourselves. Dan is the kind of guy that I would trust to be in our home without us being there. He and our dog got along great. The job was completed in May of 2018 despite all of the rainy days that we had in May. The work was excellent! He washed all of the areas that he was going to paint first. He caulked all of the joints in the trim and replaced some of the rotted wood in a few places. He removed the downspouts and cleaned the gutters while he was painting and then reinstalled the downspouts. Our trim looks beautiful! We have hired other painters over the years in other homes. Dan is absolutely the best one we have ever worked with!

This was the second time that Dan Kirby worked on a paint job for me. Last year, he repainted the exterior of my house including re-glazing the windows. It was so well done that I think it helped to sell the house very quickly at a better than expected price. After I moved into my new residence, wallpaper needed to be removed from the kitchen and bath, including on the ceiling. Dan did an excellent job in the wallpaper removal and wall repair as well as the painting so that the walls look like new. Dan proved to once again be prompt in providing the estimate which was reasonable. As in the past, Dan was reliable in showing up on time every day, staying on schedule, and working diligently on the project. I am definitely planning on having Dan Kirby re-paint the rest of the house interior in the next few months. I highly recommend him for both exterior and interior jobs.

I hired Dan over the course of a few weeks to help get our house ready to sell. He painting one full floor, did drywall repair and touch up throughout the house, painted our front porch, and power washed the outside of the house and walkway. It was a pleasure working with Dan in every capacity and I can definitely say that his excellent work heavily contributed to our house going under contract only two days after we listed it! He was very responsive to us, communicated well, and was very responsive to our schedule. Would hire again and highly recommend.

I live in an attached home. He came and checked the painting, gave me an estimate and then started painting. He did an outstanding job. He caulked everything that needed it, he pointed out to me everything that needs to be taken care of and he even painted my front door, which is awesome.

This is my second time having Dan out to paint. He does an amazing job for a great price. I highly recommend him - he's definitely the best painter in Greene!!

The job went very well. Mr. Kirby gave me an approximate start date which was several months out which did not concern me. Because of his reputation he is very busy and my situation did not require immediate attention. When it became close to the original approximate start date I contacted Mr. Kirby and he told me it would be later than anticipated because of adverse weather conditions which I easily understand. Mr. Kirby notified me when he would be able to start and we consulted about the stain color and were able to match the original color perfectly from an old can of paint that had fortunately been left. He arrived early on the start date and as promised first powerwashed the house. He washed my small deck at no charge. The deck was not included in the original estimate. That was done gratis. Then the caulking commenced and when completed the windows were covered with plastic and painting commenced. We lost almost a week of painting because Mr. Kirby had a family emergency which sometimes is unavoidable and I understand. Life doesn't always go smoothly! After a four day break, Mr. Kirby commenced the painting and finished the work in three days. He also did an interior repair that was needed as a result of a roof leak. The damage is no longer visible. He charged $75.00. Another company gave me an estimate of $500! Several days after the work was completed I realized there was some tape residue on the outside of a second story window and contacted Mr. Kirby. He was here two days later and took care of that and some paint spots on a storm door. Mr. Kirby is a consummate craftsman and as a bonus, is a delightful person. I would not hesitate to recommend his services. I have several interior interior projects for next year and will definitely be using him.

The job was done quickly, correctly, using great ideas to solve problems we had from the prior worker. We could not be more satisfied!!!

It went very, very well. This is the second time I have used Expertise Painting. Their work is absolutely perfect. They are very neat and treated my house as if it were theirs. The quality of their work was top notch.

It went so well that I am already planning future projects with him.

Dan is the EXPERT; we have used Dan in the past and would not consider any one else to paint our home; He responded to our email for estimate fairly promptly; came over & submitted e-mail estimate- he told us when in the our home to give estimate he was busy and we would need to wait for him to come over to paint our home- because of our love of his performance in past willingly waited for him-He would arrive early in the day- worked the full day making sure at the end of the day all was picked up & swept- things away-He is a non-smoker if that is important to you as a consumer-Dan takes pride in his work, obsessively making sure all was just right- I even changed colors on him after the first coat- no problem he just repainted the next day- Our bedroom, & bathroom closets had been painted dark brown by prior owner- after much prep & intense sanding the bathroom are now light & inviting-Dan is the expert in Expertise painting

Dan and Joe were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond: researching the best way to reglaze/paint our windows, cutting our bushes to do the job right, washing the windows with bleach before painting, painting additional areas, removing the banister to properly paint the stairs, and so much more. And they did everything with utmost professionalism and smiles on their faces. I have hired numerous people with five star reviews off of Angie’s list before, but Expertise has been my best hire by far. Per the attached picture, Dan transformed rotten old wood into something that looks brand new. I am so glad I found Dan and Joe and highly recommend that you go with them. We couldn’t be happier.

Dan Kirby did an excellent job. He was always punctual, worked diligently, and paid attention to even the smallest details. The quality of all of the work was excellent including the work he did to re-glaze all of the windows which were in bad shape. I plan to call him as soon as I am ready to paint the interior of the house.

Excellent. Dan Kirby is a real find! Dan is knowledgeable about paints, is a very clean painter, fast and thorough. Always at the office early, courteous, with a smile and willing to do what needs to be done. Also clear communication about expectations, cost etc. I highly recommend him, and he will continue to work at the Manor as things come up that need to be done.
