1Went apparently well until the signing of the inventory and the locating of specific items. Items were missing. Customer was not left a copy of inventory. Consequently we could not prove our claims of theft. Very discouraging!

They’ve done excellent work in the past. As of 8/5/2020 they aren’t answering their phone or returning calls.

fairly smoothly. BUT I was not provided a final bill...just told the balance for which I wrote a check. After the fact I learned I needed a bill, that the canceled check was unacceptable for a reimbursement I am entitled to. I have contacted Dennis Atkinson on numerous occasions since March. I was told no problem but no results. He is not returning my phone calls.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. The salesman who gave an onsite estimate was very nice. It went down hill from there. Communication was lacking. Movers showed up and almost immediately complained that there was a lot of stuff and it would not fit on one truck. It would take two trips and would cost me double. (prior to this I told the office that i needed everything moved, expecting to pay more, but not double). I called the original salesman that morning and told him what was happening and he never called me back. Most of the movers were very nice and accommodating. Whom I believe was the head guy, wrote the bill etc., was rude and complained the entire time. Said he could not bring stuff upstairs because the hallway had recently been painted. "I have another job to go to and I don't want any paint on me". Instead of taking a door off they left two pieces of furniture in the garage! Therefore, the next day I had to rent a u haul and hire a couple kids to move the rest of my stuff!! The company owes me the money that I had to spend the next day. Stay away from this company.

It went great. They were careful with our things, moved quickly, and even came in slightly under budget. They arranged the storage unit efficiently.

From the onset, there were issues--mostly from the front-of-office management. Return phone calls considerably delayed, promised information (including a formal quote) not provided so I never got a contract, lack of communication (especially on the day of the move. I wasn't even sure the movers were going to show up and when they did, it was late (6 pm). They had to unpack the truck in the dark and I helped out to speed the move up. Two of the movers were experienced and did a great job. It was the 2nd day on the job for the third mover. I was charged $600 for 2.5 hours for 3 movers. Expensive, unreliable, and while the moving business is hard, personnel issues shouldn't fall on the customer. I will never use again for that reason. Hesitant to leave a bad review (since the two guys who did the actual move were pretty impressive), but customer service and communication were consistently poor. The late move ruined that evening and led me to cancel commitments the next day (including going to my niece's birthday party). The situation made a stressful situation even worse.

Fast and efficient. Very helpful rearranging furniture to satisfaction of my sister in law. This was above and beyond what they needed to do and we really appreciated it!

Expert Moving LLC made our actual moving day less stressful. We had problems with our house closing and their team of movers continued to do their work while we were delayed. Our move was larger than estimated: the company sent a second truck and more men to complete the job. The added cost was reasonable, considering all of the boxes they had to move from our storage area and former home. The young men on their crew were very polite, mindful of our property, and worked very hard. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent service, highly professional, good pricing.

We had to find services in a pinch on a holiday as a result of closing date complications and Expert was the only service that was able to accommodate us on short notice. In addition, they offered a service where they would donate unneeded furniture to a charity free of charge, which was awesome. Though they did show up later than expected on moving day morning, they did keep us updated with a phone call and once they started, the efficiency was amazing, the six (!) guys worked non-stop, packing a house worth of stuff on the truck, driving, and unloading into the new house in 3.5 hours! As a result of this, the price came in lower than expected and we gladly tipped them well for their hard work on a hot day. We have already referred them to a friend and they did a great job there, too.

On time, on budget, polite, professional, would hire again.

Expert moving were great. I called them on a Thursday, they came on Friday for a free onsite quote and moved us on Saturday. They arrived punctually, were friendly and extremely accommodating. They even put a ferret cage in my car to move. They went from my apartment to another location for additional pick up and drove an hour to my new location. They worked very quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend them for any move. All of my furniture and boxes were placed where I asked them to with no damage whatsoever. They came with runners and door frame protectors. Just a pleasure to do business with. Top notch service!

Expert Moving, LLC was a pleasure to work with. This was the first time I have hired movers so I was a little nervous and they put me at ease from the first phone call, to the estimate, and moving day! They were very professional and just really nice people which made all the difference for me. They were very accommodating to my schedule and exceeded my expectations. Thank you Expert Moving!!

Our move was pretty small...washer and dryer, kids bedroom set, 1 queen bed and armoire, some outside kids toys. First off, they never sent a quote. So I figured they didn't want the business so I forgot about them and moved on. The day before I wanted them to move us, the lady called to confirm the move and time. I was caught off guard because I never officially booked with them because we never agreed to an estimate that never came. She said they would send 3 guys at $145/ hour because the move was small. The estimated time of moving was 1.5 hours. So I agreed. The next day, moving day, 5 guys showed up because they were coming from another move. Having 5 men on site was to cost $195 an hour! Then I was told that travel time was figured at over 70 mins and that the minimum we could spend was $425. We had to spend at least $425 for a small move!! On top of that, they wouldn't move our daughters crib because it wasn't completely taken apart, so we had to find our own way to urgently move that so that our daughter had somewhere to sleep that night. They also ripped all the drawers out of the armoire, that aren't meant to come out and now 3 out of the 5 drawer frames are all bent up and the drawers don't close all the way and they are hard to slide open and shut. We were charged almost $600 for this MESS of a move. The owner called and left me a voicemail and apologized for the miscommunication and wanted to make things right with us. I called him back the next day and never heard from him again. Super disappointed because I expected a great move because of all the good reviews. It just did not go this way for us. I understand things happen, but if you say you are going to make things right, don't ditch out on that promise.

Expert Moving was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. They had to work with us to pick up my daughter's furniture on 7/31 and hold it overnight to deliver on 8/1. The pricing was fair and they were on time and courteous. I will use them for all future moving needs!

This was our 13th move overall, and the first local move ever. The crew of 6 showed up on time, was polite and very fast. We loaded and unloaded in the same day. Adam, the lead, was fabulous in time management, and George was a loading magician. Thanks to those two, we were able to make only one trip. We had some very difficult pieces (large, all-glass cabinets and some very heavy wood furniture). Nothing broke or was damaged. I would hire these guys for our next cross-country move, let alone a local move. The price came in right at the estimate. No surprises, which was a welcome surprise, indeed. They are truly the best!

This company really lives up to their name. They are definitely “expert movers”! The crew of 3 men showed up within the estimated time frame. We did a walkthrough of the house and I pointed out several pieces that would require special attention, which they provided. The men were pleasant, courteous, and professional - even when one piece of furniture which had to be dismantled would not cooperate. In the new house they placed everything where I directed, and checked to make sure it was situated correctly. They made what could have been a stressful day go very easy.

It went fast, and well. I was in a very bad position; I had hired a local mover 8 weeks ago and he cancelled on me less than a week before the advertised estate sale of my late Aunts belongings. I called Expert and they found a hole in their schedule which worked for all of us. They were efficient, courteous, careful & overall just marvelous. Highly recommended.

They delivered everything they promised, and they did so pleasantly and professionally. Especially refreshing after getting jerked around by several other moving companies for the better part of a week before finding Expert Moving. Not cheap, but totally worth every penny. I highly recommend.

It went very smoothly. The scheduling with Laura and estimate were right within acceptable timing and price. The movers moved a 300 lb glass salt water aquarium when no other movers would with ease and no issues. The movers were very professional and moved everything safely, smoothly and most of all efficiently. Making the move stress free and affordable. Expert Moving is the best bang for your buck, hands down!
