It went well. They arrived promptly, were friendly and professional. We are pleased with their work and would hire them again.

These guys were very knowledgeable and professional. They cut down several trees that were damaged during the hurricane that came through Iowa. Trimmed the rest that I had and gave me a very fair price. Cleaned up everything and did all the work by hand. So no heavy equipment to rip up the yard. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

We live in Cedar Rapids Iowa . We had 115mph-145mph winds 2 weeks ago. Victor and his crew are up here from Texas helping our local community do tree removal. I called them within 1 day he was over and gave a very reasonable bid . Next morning they had the crew there and took care of our needs . There was xtra TLC done To our trees that was performed without xtra charge. They went over the top. Would rehire in a second. If your looking for tree removal in the Cedar Rapids area get ahold of this crew!!

Expert Tree Service was recommended by our new tenant as a reasonably priced tree trimming service. I called Joe and left a message. He returned my call the following day and agreed to come to the house to give us an estimate. The estimate was 600 USD, which i thought was a little pricey, but he reminded me that included cleaning the gutters. We agreed he was going to meet us at the property at 9:30 AM on Saturday so my husband could be there to supervise and make sure they trimmed enough. When my husband shower up at 9:30 AM they were already there and had already gotten started. Joe was nowhere to be found. Three Mexicans with a small trailer were there. No ladder! No wood chip machine! How is this a professional tree trimming service? My husband asked them to cut back the trees in the front about 5 feet from the roof of the house. They said they were told to cut it back just 2. The trees in the back were green leaf ligustrums that needed to be trimmed like a mushroom cap. The Mexicans that were there did not have a ladder and could only trim the sides of the trees. They also said that is not what Joe had instructed them to do. My husband gave them his phone number and asked them to call him when they were done so he could inspect and pay. They did not call. At 11:00 AM I got a text from Joe asking me to make out a check to Ramiro Olivera. I asked him if they were done, but he did not reply. At 1:30 PM he called from Freeport and said he wanted to meet us to get paid. We said we were invited to a friend's house at 3:00 to watch College Football and could not meet him after 3. We then agreed to meet on Sunday. At noon on Sunday we had still not heard back from Joe and drove out to the property to check on the work. The trees in the back had still not been trimmed on top and the gutters were still full of pine needles. Joe called at 1:30 PM and asked us to meet him at the property at 6:00 PM to get paid. We told him we would not meet up with him until the work had been completed. He said we needed to pay him more money in order for him to complete the work, because somehow he felt like my husband had requested more work to be done. Trimming trees and cleaning gutters? What was the miscommunication here? At 5:00 PM in the middle of our Sunday dinner Joe called and said the guys were done and were waiting for us at the house. This was not what we agreed to do. We finished dinner in a haste, drove out to the property and found that the gutters had been cleaned, but that one of the trees in the back still looked the same. We really wanted to cut our losses with these guys, paid them 650 USD and got a hand written receipt for 600. Not at all a professional tree service company. Stay away!!! <br />
