We hired Express Roofing to do a repair/refresh certification of our roof since it was old and run down. They were excellent to work with, very good with communication and flexible. They did great work and were timely and we are very pleased with the result.

Great! Very nice people to work with, kept work area tidy and finished the job quickly. I received drone video as well as photos during the process as well as after completion.

I cannot recommend Express Roofing enough. I received 7 bids for my roof project included some highly rated companies. Express Roofing was the only company to provide me with photos and a video of my roof issues. They wrote out a very exact contract and were the only company to include fascia board and ply board for the areas of concern that they saw. They cleaned up everything at the end of each day and finished a large project in 4 days. This included both the shingle roof and 2 foam flat roofs. Jenna and Jeremy were at the house every day to provide me with photos AND drone footage to show the workmanship and progress each day which I received via email. They were patient with all of my endless questions and phone calls to follow up. The roof looks amazing! They painted the T tops a good color to match the roof and new shiny whirly birds. couldn't have been better. The price was right, workmanship was great, complete professionals. They go the extra yard even to the point of daily drone flyovers. then sent me a link daily so I could see the narrated videos of the flyovers that show the progress made that day. The most important thing was that there were no surprises. I don't need to here those dreaded words "there's a problem" an uneventful job. I'll drink to that.

Although the start date was delayed a couple days the company was very responsive and remained in constant contact regarding the delay. It was mostly due to excessive heat and rain in the valley that week.

Great! Work started on a Tuesday and they were finished by Friday afternoon. All materials cleaned up and you'd never know they were there.

After roof was completed it was far better than the builder had done originally. All work was done on time and at the quoted price. Excellent job!

<p>received 9 bids. Rene the owner of Express Roofing come out to quote the  roof as well. What he had to say compared what the other roofers had to say is why we picked Express Roofing. Rene went thru in details and explaned what and how he was going to do. Verses the other roofers were allot more vague. Rene had his pencil sharpened and ready. </p> <p>There were a total of three people I communicated with during the process. After accepting and giving the"OK' to work I was contacted by a gentleman names Jeff "office manager". Very impressed with the commumication from Jeff. He kept me informed via email and always returned or  answered my phone calls same day for the most part.</p> <p>The third person I had allot of contact with was Ricardo, ( Job foreman) I would get up in the morning (still dark) There would be Ricardo waiting for other workers to show up. Once able to see (sun up) Work begain, And didn't stop till dark. it went great. They were here early and stayed late, and in the heat. Workers were cooperative,as we work from home, accommodating our phone calls. Excellent working relationship.

They took about 5 days to remove the old tile and install the new tile roof. The installation is more difficult than most roofs, because the first and second floor have hip roofs. Since I'm retired I was able to watch the entire construction project, and I observed a very professional installation of the new roof. I highly recommend this firm for your roofing project. As a Professional Engineer, I expected this type of detail during my career. <br />

Since 1977, I have had three houses in Tempe and dealt with four roofers.  This was by far my best experience.  Before hiring Express Roofing, I got estimates from two of the more well known, large companies, but was not happy with their pushy sales pitches.  Then I joined Angie's List and also contacted neighbors through our local Facebook group, and got multiple recommendations for this company.  The key is the owner Rene Palomino, whom my neighbor said was a real pleasure to work with, and that certainly proved to be true.  He took a lot of time to understand our situation, gave multiple options, explaining fairly the pros and cons, and came to the house several times.  He was also very patient as we made our choices.  He obviously takes real pride in the work that he does, and sincerely wants to take care of his customers. His workers are outstanding in how they handle the details -- covering the pool, say, or sweeping the grounds and even the alley with a magnetic device for nails at the end of every day.  And if Rene was even slightly delayed for an appointment, he would have his office call.  The man in the office, Jeff Lopez, in also very conscientious and courteous.  I waited to write this review until after a few storms, and am happy to report that everything is perfect.  I have already recommended this company to some close friends.  Rene Palomino is building his business the right way. <br />

<p>I was looking to replace the 25-year-old roof my home and a co-worker referred me to Express Roofing as she had previously had her roof done by them. I contacted them and made an appointment for inspection and an estimate. They came promptly and inspected the roof, then scheduled another appointment to go over the estimate in detail and explain the products they would use and how. They also recommended we add some extra roof vents since ours was inadequate (something the other companies I contacted didn't). Their estimate was in the middle of the other two I had received, but theirs included the cost of wood whereas the others didn't. There were no surprises as a result. The workers showed up each morning promptly and worked long hours to get our roof done in 2-1/2 days. The work site was cleaned up each evening so you'd never know they were there. The communication was excellent as they kept us informed throughout the process.  Because they didn't use all of the wood in the estimate, we actually received a discount back for that. Express Roofing's professionalism, excellent work, superior work materials, and honesty makes me highly recommend this company for anyone looking to re-roof their home.</p> <br />

Rene, the owner of the company, and Jeff, his officer manager, were very easy to work with.  They kept in touch with me and answered all my questions.  I appreciated that the contract was easy to read and that everything that went into the project was explained in detail.  The crew showed up early each day and worked very hard until the job was done.  The whole project lasted about two and a half days, and looks great. <br />

I did all of the research on how the best roofers rebuild roofs in Phoenix to stand up to the temperature extremes that the valley experiences.  We had a 20 year old tile roof that had a few leaks and also a new patio addition that was being built.  I called eight five-star roofers based upon AL reviews and the information on their websites.  Two never returned a bid with their estimates, and two bid based upon reusing the old metal work and replacing a very small number of broken tiles, which could lead to significant up charges by the time the job was done.  They also were going to re-roof over the old paper, meaning that there would be no inspection of the wood decking.  Of the remaining three, only Express Roofing provided a detailed bid spelling out everything that they would do and had a better warranty than all of the others.  The other roofers excluded items such a sealants from their warranty.  Express was the mid range bid (bids ranged from $15,600 to $25,500) and had no problem working with the contractor's schedule that was framing out the new patio addition.  The quality and attention to detail was worth the price. <br /> When the framing was completed and approved by the building inspector, Express quickly scheduled a crew and went to work. They showed up early every morning and worked all day in 100+ degree heat.  What impressed me was that they payed attention to the smallest of details, like completely covering and uncovering our pool every day, covering the plants and shrubs to keep the dust and debris off of them, and even sweeping for dropped nails with a magnetic sweeper.  They also use some techniques unique to Express to protect your roof like adding an extra rubber membrane in the valleys and using clips rather than nailing through the valley metal.  The six day job included touch up painting and painting all of the new metal work to match the existing paint or the roof tile itself.  All of the wood damaged from leaks (there were about a dozen and most were not even known about...yet) was replaced with new.  They even blow off all of the dust from the tile cutting so that you are left with clean roof for that first rain storm.  And as this process goes on, Rene will email you pictures of the work and what they find.  Simply amazing attention to detail! <br /> My roof tiles and ridge tiles are now all straight and even and the roof looks beautiful.  I highly recommend Express Roofing. <br />

Owner Rene Palomino was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely professional.  He kept in constant contact about the job's progress and showed up many times to check on its progress.  He provided pictures of the work that needed to be done as well as the work as it progressed and once it was completed. <br />

Rene and his group were wonderful to work with.  We had gotten three quotes to fix our roof, and while they were not the cheapest, we definitely felt THE MOST COMFORTABLE with them.  They brought out examples of the work they were going to do on the roof and explained the whole process in detail.  None of the other groups we contacted did that.  They also helped us work out the financing, and now we have a lovely new roof that shouldn't leak during the monsoons.  I definitely would use them again, or recommend them to someone else.

I have had tile roofs replaced in the past, so I knew this was going to be a big job.  I called several contractors based on Angies List reviews and had them give me quotes for the work.  The house is a single story, approx. 2,200 sq feet. <br /> Rene (the owner) came out to my house and as the other contractors did, he walked on the roof and lifted tiles in several locations to assess the condition of the underlay material.  He took the time to explain all of the problems with the roof.  Not only the areas that I knew had leaks, but additional problem areas around the chimney and the A/C unit.  He explained in great detail what would be done to recondition the roof and bring it up to current standards.  After the initial meeting, he went back and put together an extremely detailed proposal, highlighting the work that would be done on different areas of the roof, as well as presenting several options, such as doing half the roof at a time to spread the cost out, expansion of the A/C shingle pad to accomodate HVAC contractors, and the addition of several roof vents.  I opted to do the full roof, knowing it was all at its end of life, and I took him up on the upgrade option to install six new attic vents. <br /> While his proposal was not the lowest cost, it was definitely the most detailed and thorough, and I was impressed by his presentation of the material and his personal knowledge of the industry, so I chose his company to do the work.  After talking to Rene several times, I felt very confident in his companys' ability to perform the work. <br /> The job was scheduled a few weeks out, and was to last about one week.  The crew showed up on time early Monday morning, and by Friday afternoon, they were cleaning up and all the details were complete.  During the project, Rene talked to me several times about the status of the work, and any problems that were found once the tile was removed and the old debris cleaned up.  <br /> At all times, the crew was courteous and professsional.  They did an extremely good job of keeping debris under control, as well as protecting the pool with a cover and picking up nails every day with a magnet. <br /> The end cost was only slightly over budget due to some extra wood that was needed, but it was nothing really unexpected since I already knew some of the fascia and trim boards were going to end up being replaced due to their condition.  Otherwise, the actual cost was very close to the bid. <br /> Just about a day after the work was completed, we had a major rain storm in the Chandler area.  I was thrilled to have the new roof and absolutely no leaks. <br /> Overall, I am completely satisfied with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the Express Roofing crew. <br /> <br />

I would highly recommend Express Roofing LLC.  After getting estimates from three established roofing contractors, I selected Express to re-roof my house because they offered the best combination of price (in the middle), quality (materials and methods) and performance (references). The owner, Rene, is experienced,  knowledgeable, organized and very responsive.  He carefully examined my roof and his estimate contained specific details of the materials and methods to be used, supported by photos and diagrams of my existing roof showing how each stage of the job would be handled.  Also, the company?s website provides informative illustrations and photos of work in progress showing what to look for and what to expect when having a roof replaced.  I contacted two of the references provided by Express and both gave the company high marks.  After hiring Express to re-roof my house, the job was handled exactly as described in their initial proposal.  The crew was experienced, hard working, professional and informative.  I was especially pleased with the care and attention given to the potential problem areas (ridges, vents, wall intersections, skylights and chimney) and to the finish details (over the windows and entry) which you see every day. The crew cleaned up every day and left the place thoroughly clean at the end of job.  The work was completed in four days, as promised, without incident. <br />

Expressing roofing came highly recommended from our real estate agent. We had them provide an estimate for a flat roof repair and sealing when purchasing our home. His bid was the least expensive and he provided a list of the specific material brands he uses. The other bids did not provide this information. We selected Express Roofing and they completed the work promptly. In the year since using them, I had a concern about the roof and called the office manager, Jeff and he sent the owner out to inspect the roof, which needed no additional work. I recommend them highly. <br />

They came out and gave us a free estimate. They did not pressure us at all. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend them to others.
