Exterior Decks and Design

<p>We could not be more delighted with our deck.  It is the envy of the street.  Mike and his son Jessie did an excellent job.  We have been so pleased by the design, and structure.  Mike really listen to our needs and his experience and his knowledge is top notch. </p> <p>Mike's guidance on design and materials was very helpful.  He helped us with the pros and cons of the different materials and design elements.</p> <p>Mike and Jessie both have such pride in their work and it surely showed in the end product.  </p> <p>Jessie is extremely hard working and rarely took breaks.</p> <p>Each day they would do a superficial job clean up, and then once a week a more thorough clean up. </p> <p>The deck has been completed now for almost a year and we have had no problems.  </p> <p>Mike and Jessie came highly recommended by our neighbors and since the completion of our deck another neighbor used their services with great success. </p> <p>I would highly recommend them to anyone who asked. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />

Great work by Mike, including installation of cable rails around the deck - it blends with the older deck and the house very well.  The pricing and punctuality were both good.

We met with several vendors and Exterior Decks & Design were by far the most upfront and hassle free to work with.  Mike and Jess took the time to understand the big picture plans for our backyard, how we wanted to live in the space and gave us several ideas to work with.   As part of the desgin process Mike was extremely helpful is talking us through how to work with the elevation changes.  He created a very seemless flow of the deck to drive-way entrance.  We had an initial design from a architect but Mike's suggestions help create more useable living space. <br /> <br /> As part of the proposal process Mike and Jess were very timely in communicating with us.  They gave us very clear information on pricing and materials options to help us with the decision process.  Mike and Jess took care of the permit process which made it less stressful for us to manage.   We received weekly updates as to where things stood and what to expect in the coming days.  They accomodated several changes along the way.   It couldn't have been easier.   We were never caught by surprise throughout the entire process. <br /> <br /> When it came to selecting a material Mike suggested a new premium product called Zuri.  We looked at Trex and Azek, but Zuri is like no other material we've ever seen.  While every other contractor we spoke with hesitated to quote a price and were not as willing to work with Zuri, Mike and Jess were ready to go.   They worked directly with the manufacturer to understand the unique installation aspects of Zuri and had a representative on-site to guide them through the installation.  This demonstrates just how much time and attention they put into building a quality deck.  The final product is amamzing!   The amount of compliments we have gotten the build quality and the look of the deck are endless. <br /> <br /> I highly recommend Exterior Desks & Design. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
