Apparently Extreme is the new name of a company previously dba United Home Solutions. If these reviews can be believed they seem to have improved their follow-though but although their work was excellent I suggest anyone considering hiring them to be very careful and proactive. I have a judgment pending in small claims court for work paid for but not completed.

Terrible. Alessandro a.k.a. Alex, is a con man. He took money, never finished any of the jobs never pulled Necessary permit on the bathroom. That he started after he got paid in full. He stopped work completely and was full of excuses. Then just refused to come back altogether. Stated that he sold his company even though the new company is in his name and demanded $17000 more to finish any work. Now he claims he's gonna put a lean on the house if we report him. And has been aggressive and manner.

Alex changed the name of the compnay from.untited home solutions. He started a bathroom never got a permit. He took off after not finishing the job. Left the house in shambles

They were very professional and always punctual on the dayly basis. Almighty did all the work, there were no subcontract. Pricing was in the middle, they started and finished the work we agreed on on time no delays! Kept us updated on the dayly basis. We are very pleased and happy with the work performed!

My wife and I are selling our home and decided to move to an Apartment to have our concrete kitchen floor refinished. Alex of United Home Solutions came to look at the job. Work was to begin the following week on Wednesday, May 3rd. Alex came for a deposit of half the cost of the job on either Monday the 1st or Tuesday the 2nd. I moved everything out of the kitchen including all the appliances by May 2nd and sent Alex a text message saying we were ready. The guy that would be actually doing the work showed up later that week and showed up tinted epoxy floor jobs similar to what we were shown previously by Alex. We agreed on a color and he said it would take 5 days to complete. On Tuesday the 9th, the work hadn’t begun so I called Alex. Alex called back the following day (the 10th) and said his floor guy was sick and mentioned possible Covid. I worked at the house on Monday the 15th until about 5pm. I planned on calling Alex Tuesday if nobody had started the work. When I got to the home Tuesday (the 16th) I found my front door unlocked and saw that work had started some time in the night but nobody currently there. The next morning I found that more work had been completed and a bucket of urethane (not epoxy) had been left in my backyard. Nobody showed the rest of the week or weekend. Monday the 22nd, I realized I had a missed call from Alex and a bunch of pictures texted to me. I called the following day and was told the floor was done. I told him no it wasn’t and it looked horrible. He said “well I don’t know what you were expecting” and made it sound like I was being picky. Then he went into all the work that HE did on the floor. Not a square inch of the floor is flat, the entire surface is heavily textured. About 1/4 of the surface is very cloudy and full of bubbles. The following day I called Angi to see what my options were. Alex got wind of me contacting Angi and called me the next day. He sounded more reasonable on the phone and wanted his floor guy to see it. However, floor guy couldn’t be there until 7:30pm. I waited until 8pm and texted Alex that I was going home. He wrote back that I didn’t need to be present and I responded with I most certainly did. The next day I texted to set up another time and haven’t heard from him since

If you’re doing a big job they might do okay but I had a pretty poor experience. At first everything went fine. The quality of the work was acceptable and they were professional but I’m not sure anyone showed up when they said they would. I had a couple smaller projects that I needed done and it became harder and harder to contact them to the point where I’d wait days between phone calls. My latest project was a washing machine install which the two men doing the project had clearly never done. They asked me multiple questions about the installation guide. They ended up missing the critical first step. I’ve attempted to get it resolved and have been told a few times that Alex was seeing if he could find some guys to fix it with radio silence after. I ended up hiring another company to finish the work.

Contract promise work dates but no one shows up. He has come out 3 times to "make sure you (I) know what we are doing." He had a plumber look at it first but a week later is telling me that he can't start until a plumber looks at it. Last night, he promises again there will be an 8:00am start Tuesday morning. I asked him to contact the plumber before I commit to a personal day(again) to make sure he can come. I get a text from him at 8:30 that he is 30 min away. shows up at ten and leaves. I call him at noon and said a plumber will be there in 3 hours but will need to put off the job another day if it can't be done by the end of day. I remind him that this is the conversation we had the night before and I had little confidence that it was going to be done in a reasonable timeline. He starts swearing and tells me that I need to stop bothering him. I explained that I only "bother" him because there is no contact from him. His office responded twice but thought I was a different customer and had also given me their job times which conflicted with what the contractor Alex was saying. things would be different if he initiated any attempt to communicate. I just need work to start when he says it will. I have lost two days of work to be here for promises not kept. Moreover, swearing is not acceptable. I told him this was not OK. He did call back to apologize but blamed it on a tough week. Then told me that everything was on schedule. But it isn't. Worse is that he smelled as though he had been drinking one time he came out to assess the job. pretty obvious on his breath. I didn't feel comfortable confronting him as I had already paid the deposit and wasn't sure what to do. Plumber is supposed to come at 3:00pm today but Alex can not guarantee the work will get done. Not sure why this is an issue if the plumber already priced the job for him and a contract was drawn for the work if it couldn't be done. I'm discontinuing services regardless but would like to recoup the $3500 if possible. I can't take more time from work. lied to through the entire process.

Initially the work performed was excellent...it was a messy, dirty job to pull down the ceiling and the team worked diligently. They constructed a new set of stairs that are excellent. Then, however, things began to fall apart. Money was fronted to pay for an electrician who never came and a structural engineer whose plans showed no license number, nor was I provided with a bill to correspond with the money I had advanced. In addition the demolition debris remained in our driveway for at least six months until a contractor doing some other work was kind enough to dispose of it at cost. Numerous attempts to contact Alex have fallen through and I plan to file a claim in small claims court.

The visit went so well. The plumber was friendly, relaxed, respectful and did a great job. While visiting it was clear that we needed some extra plumbing fixtures, which I was able to purchase while he was working. He completed the job with the plumbing system and related faucet working great.

Alex and his team did a complete deck replacement. They did a very good job on this project. After removal of the old deck wood, it was determined that further reinforcement would be needed in order to do this job properly. Therefore, original estimate had to be adjusted quite a bit, to account for the extra labor needed to perform the reinforcement. Alex and his team completed the job in about three weeks, with most of the days in cold weather. Several payments were provided throughout the project and there were no hidden costs, they were very upfront in terms of what needed to be done, and were transparent throughout the process. Alex and his team also added, without additional labor cost, repair work for a side door deck, which involved replacement of about 8 boards. All in all, pleased with the work completed, very professional, and both decks look very good. Would use them again for future projects.

My kitchen and bathroom renovations are in process. United Home Solutions was willing to step into renovations in process when the first contractor could not continue. The carpentry team is well along with installation of cabinets, trim and baseboards and will build custom shelving. The quality of the work is excellent. They worked with me to choose trim compatible with original trim in my 1860 clapboard home and it looks great! The board and plaster team closed up the remaining spaces with smooth walls. The countertop team and painter have been scheduled. These are good people to work with on a project that has endless decisions in my older home as they discuss the possibilities and know how to implement decisions reached.

United Home Solutions converted my old, dingy bathroom with tub into a more modern one with a shower, I am very pleased with everything. They were very good at being transparent and explaining things to me before we started the job and then continuing to communicate as things came up. The project took a little longer than anticipated, but part of that was due to them pro-actively recognizing when we needed to change the plan. For example, we originally planned to keep the plumbing exactly where it had been, but couldn't do that with the new curb of the shower. They recognized this, let me know and took the time to update the plumbing so it met the need of the newly designed space. In addition, they were very pleasant to work with and when i had questions or concerns addressed them. They also provided guidence when i needed it, but also allowed me space to make my own decisions, and were never pushy. I recommend working with Alessandro and the team at United Home Solutions!

Alex and his team (Geoff - plumber, Bruno - electrician) did an outstanding job. Alex responded to my initial query to Angie's list within 10 minutes..... so fast! He then had the plumber, Geoff out there within several days. Geoff was superb. He replaced the disposal and sink faucet and drain, upgrading the plumbing to code in the process. Thus, the robustness of our plumbing was greatly improved by what Geoff did (bringing our plumbing to code required raising some valves, and converting some metal/plastic interfaces to metal/metal). We did run into one problem, which was that the disposal switch developed a short circuit. Alex quickly had an electrician (Bruno) come by. Bruno did an outstanding job, working quickly but improving the electrical box by adding an extra switch. Thus, once again, the entire system was improved by their high quality work. Geoff in particular ended up spending more time than initially anticipated, so the price was double what was initially quoted, but I felt that a lot more work was done than initially anticipated, the work was high quality, Geoff and Bruno both worked quickly and hard (taking no breaks), so ultimately I felt that the cost was well worth it. Very fair. Alex also manages everything from afar, and does a great job. He responds immediately to subsequent calls and has an excellent interaction style. I would definitely hire them again and strongly recommend them!

It was great to have one person to deal with renovations of the bathroom. The ability to synchronize the installation of plumbing and electrical so that the finishing work could be completed saved more then a week on the project. The contractor’s subs were on time and left the space clean and ready for use immediately.
