A one star rating is truly a gift for this company. But they get 5 stars for taking my deposit, cashing it within two hours, then ignoring me and not performing any work. Look elsewhere, unless you just want to give your hard-earned money away with nothing in return. I am dead serious here. Keep scrolling... I'm not the only one.

Contractor apparently took my deposit and ran. Many contacts made many excuses made. No work done.

This is the second negative review I am writing. After the first one, Ken Mills assured me he give me a start date estimation if i would take down my negative reviews. That was July 19, 2021, and he has yet to commit to any sort of time estimation. Extreme Concrete took a 50% deposit ($4,000) on Feb 28. Despite countless emails and texts, I still have no start date, nor the return of my deposit. He asked me to work with him, and I foolishly agreed. Had he simply returned my deposit, I would have been able to secure other contractors this summer, but unfortunately, that time has past. I have stopped trying to work with the company. I will be filing in small claims court this week. My attorney has said that the paper trail of non-responsiveness and vague responses when there is one make this a very open and shut case. This seems to be a common theme, as you can note this experience documented by others on multiple review sites and with his previous company, Ken Mills Construction, LLC. I fear the large deposits have been used to fund current projects, and the company will either run out of money and be able to complete new projects, or be unable to refund deposits. How did it go? Not at all. We signed a contract and deposited $2,500 on 6/14/21. Now their not answering their phone/returning messages, and the owner's mailbox is full.

DO NOT employ Ken Mills (the owner). He quickly responded to my request for contractors for my driveway expansion. Within a few days, he sent a statement of work and required 1/2 down as a deposit. That was in March, I rarely heard from him again. By June, the job was not scheduled, nor would he provide a definite date. Mostly, I was ghosted for months. Inquiries went either unanswered or I was given vague responses via text. He would not answer his phone. There are several others on the BBB site with similar experiences, in which he took far more money for their jobs as a deposit. He does not place people on his alleged "schedule" until he has a sizable deposit. Even after he spoke to my attorney, who provided him a deadline to return my deposit in July, I still have not received a return of my deposit. He appears to dare people to take legal action and will lie continually to cover up his con game. Again, DO NOT contract with him. Check the BBB site and see other complaints and reviews. He has an 'F' rating with them. Maybe we should start calling him Bernie Madoff.

Extreme Concrete and I entered into a contract whereby Extreme would extend my driveway for $2,500 payment. Extreme collected my initial $1,250 payment on March 22, 2021. On March 26, Extreme informed me that the work would start the following week (the week of March 29). Extreme did not start the work until May 24, 2021. They excavated the ground and laid some gravel, and then became unresponsive to my calls. On July 12, 2021, I concluded that they had abandoned the job. I made further unsuccessful efforts to contact them by phone and text. I then learned by getting the job quoted elsewhere that Extreme’s excavation had been performed poorly, would need to be redone, and further would need a permit from the city. I am now trying to get my money refunded.

Complete disaster. Zero done, horrible planning and communication. His major task he got done real quick was taking down payment and cashing it.

Extreme did a great job, I will have them return to do my drive way next. Great workers, I enjoyed their company

Everything with Extreme Concrete went extremely well. Mr. Mills and his team did a very high quality job and for a good price. It was not only functional, but it was pleasing to the eye. If there was anything to complain about with the service, it was that the company did not make payment available by credit card. It was cash or bank check only. Somewhat of an inconvenience, but for the quality job that was delivered, it was a small inconvenience for the service.

Excellent attention to detail and inlut on how to .ake the most of oir budget.

It was great! I sent an inquiry online and received a phone call almost immediately to schedule a time to meet which we were able to arrange the same day to discuss the project I had in mind. Ken and his crew were very professional, answered all of my questions, and completed the project very quickly. Even provided helpful ideas to make the project better. I would highly recommend Extreme Concrete to anyone!
