EZ Appliance Repair was a pleasure to work with ... easy, indeed. The first visit was arranged within a few days of my first call. The problem with the fan in my oven was diagnosed, and a cost for the repair presented. Unfortunately, there were problems with the parts delivered on the order to the distributor. There was an incomplete order, followed by an incorrect part, so the repair actually took longer than anticipated. Eric was apologetic, but the problems weren't his fault. He kept his lines of communication open and maintained his good humor throughout. The repair was finally completed, and the oven has been working well ever since. Should we need any other repairs on our household appliances, EZ will be my first call. We are very satisfied customers.

Great, they diagnosed issue and fixed it

It's been a long time since I've needed appliance repair. My previous provider had gone out of business, so I wasn't sure how things worked now. The office person was wonderful. She explained the process of scheduling and was very patient when I told her I had a demanding schedule at work, and she was accommodating to my schedule. An appointment was made. Two repair persons showed up on time, and were very courteous. They assessed the issues on one day, and came back two days later to do the work, because parts had to be ordered. They were on time again and completed the work. Before they started, I asked what the Angie's List member discount was, and they said they weren't sure, they thought it was $20.00. I called Angie's List and was told that they didn't offer one. When I told one repair person that, he said he'd give me a $20.00 discount any way. My only complaint, and that's a strong word for it, would be that their labor rate seemed high, because they were only here for about twenty minutes the first time and about 40 minutes the second time, and I was charged two different rates, one for the washer and one for the dryer, The washer repair/labor rate was more expensive than the dryer repair, which I expected, because the washer had more parts that needed to be replaced.

New ice maker did not work, so EZ came back promptly and discovered severed wires at base of door (poor design by Whirlpool), which they fixed at no additional charge. I’m very pleased with Eric and Ted’s work.

A tech came out to my home because our machine wasnt draining, service call was $100. The tech did not perform and work on the machine he just said it needs a new pump. They replaced the pump and as it turns out that was not the problem. I called the owner and asked him to refund my service fee because i felt i had not received any service, he immediately started to call me a liar and told me to **** off. i would highly recommend you stay far away from this company.

Very well - came on a Saturday - very prompt. Was able to give me a sense of what was wrong over the phone. Fixed rapidly. Would hire again.

Excellent technicians at great experience in the home! Pleased with outcome. The initial receptionist we dealt with could have been a little more courteous.

Had to come out multiple times (total of 3) to complete repairs. Didn't have the right part first time. Then first part replaced did not solve the problem and required an additional part. Accidentally transposed digits when wrote down credit card info on sales slip, and after final charges were applied got another call from EZ Appliance saying that the initial deposit charge was being contested so they are "going to take legal action against [me]". While they were able to fix the problem with the fridge, I would say threatening your customers is not an ideal way to keep them coming back. Definitely not using EZ Appliance in the future as I'd prefer not to be threatened.

Excellent! Last minute repair call to a rental property of mine and they were able to squeeze me in. After a phone call with Lisa and Theresa they found out they had a tech nearby who could stop in and assess the situation. Neil, the Tech, was extremely professional and quickly fixed the issue. He followed up directly with a phone call to explain what work was done and the final charge. Will definitely hire again!

The office was both cordial and professional and scheduled me at a convenient time. On the morning of the visit, they called to confirm the time they would arrive. Neil, an expert technician, arrived promptly. He diagnosed the problem with the warming oven, replaced a high energy fuse, and left every kitchen in excellent shape. He was also extremely sensitive to not scratching surfaces. Neil also assessed the microwave and suggested that because of its age, it would not be worth fixing. That advice in itself was extremely helpful. Clearly, as a repair company, EZ Appliance Repair has no vested interest in encouraging me to buy new appliance. I was gratified by the careful and objective assessments that I received. I would undoubtedly use EZ Appliance Repair again.

My under the counter, freestanding Kitchenaid ice-maker was producing too much ice. A sensor had malfunctioned and was no longer limiting the amount of ice being produced in the ice-maker bin, causing ice to be jammed in the bin. I called E-Z Appliance because the service company I use normally was unavailable for some time. In hindsight, that was best thing that could have happened. Not only was E-Z appliance friendly, knowledgeable and responsive when I first called, their diagnostic fee (which was later waived) was almost half what most appliance companies charge. When it came time for the service call, Derek the owner correctly diagnosed the problem and provided me with an extremely reasonable estimate. The replacement part was ordered and installed just a few days later. The entire experience was fast, efficient and expertly executed. There is absolutely no question that would call upon E-Z Appliance again for all my appliance service/repair needs.

Great! When I made the appointment the secretary asked me my make and model number, and what was wrong. From the information I provided, it seems as if they had an idea of the problem over the phone and they had the part on the truck!!!! It was an awesome experience!! Very nice company

They did an awesome job. When I called, Lisa answered the phone and was very courteous. Eric got out here within an hour and a half and was very professional. He had all the parts on the truck he needed. He got it repaired quickly and I am very pleased with them. I would highly recommend this company.
