Joey could not be better to work with. Prompt responses, on time (early actually) day of the job and completed in less time than anticipated. Walked me through every step of the process, why he was doing what he was doing, and stands behind his work. He and his crew are clean and restored everything back to it's original spot when completed.

Joe did a great job on this, our dining room was a add on to connect the original home and the garage and had no insulation and boy in the winter it was unusable as well as the kitchen basically (the best part of the house). Joe came and drilled small holes in the attic floor that they sealed up later to allow for blowing in the insulation. And they cleaned up well. we have a 20 month old but there was nothing left over for the baby to put in her mouth. Joe is great! Our dining room is toasty and the kids can play in there year-round Plus they are were less than half of the expensive "efficiency" guys PSEG sent over. Those providers wanted to charge $10,000+ for basically the same job.

Joey Jacinto was prompt, courteous, and happy to share his extensive knowledge. With his infrared camera we could see where the major loss of heat was occurring. Much to our surprise, our walls turned out to be insulated and the attic insulation was adequate. Our main problem was the old wooden windows which we are planning to replace, and one or two small house extensions that needed ceiling installation. Joey made lots of wallet-friendly suggestions throughout his tour of the house that respected our old home's charm, and we could tell that he really knew housing thoroughly.

It went wonderfully. Joey Jacinto was knowledgeable, patient and thorough. Much to our surprise, he proved that the old insulation in our attic was perfectly fine and more than adequate. He identified several places where we were losing heat (most notably up the fireplace chimney flue) and a block glass window in the kitchen. His infrared camera revealed the one spot in the house that was not insulated: the ceiling in the enclosed front porch. His recommendations were to get a glass fireplace door, to re-grout the block glass window, and to call in a local insulation company to blow insulation into the relatively small space above the ceiling of the enclosed front porch. I really appreciated that he was honest enough to suggest we go with a more local outfit to save money, since he'd have had to charge more for the long commuting time for such a small job.

After I called for an estimate, Joey came promptly and assessed our insulation needs. He took his time to explain everything and also gave valuable energy savings tips. We scheduled a date and he and his crew arrived on time and insulated our attic. Within a couple of hours they were done with a thorough clean up.

Project was completed during the later part of the summer of 2016. I have noticed a substantial increase in the efficiency of my home's ability to retain cool air when we ran the house HVAC system and retain heat as colder weather arrived.

Joey is a wonderful man. He went out of his way to try to accommodate me. Initially I wanted Airkrete because I wanted a non flammable, non toxic product to insulate my home. When it turned out to be an expensive product, he recommended Insulsafe (blown fiberglass). Unfortunately, my home is still drafty and cold, particularly around outlets. The contractor told me that installing the drywall over this product was cumbersome and arduous and he considered charging me more because of the increased labor hours. He spoke with the insulation inspector who told him that he has never see this product used in this way. If I needed to get behind the wall for some reason (and the netting was punctured), this product would for sure fall out. I guess I am saying, although this product was cheaper, it is not as effective at insulating the walls and it was more challenging for my contractor to complete the job. I would NOT recommend or use product again. Joey is a nice man, hard worker but I really wish he would not advertise/install this product as equivalent or a good alternative to Airkrete.

"I am very sorry you feel this way about the work done .I just received this response or I would have gotten back to you sooner. I pride myself in my work and do not like to hear when my customers are not happy. I would have tried to make the system work better for the other trades If i had known you had this issue. Angies list review system has been down. I wish you had given me a call back..I have never had this kind of issue and am not happy that you are unsatisfied. I thought that the job came out beautiful and was surprised to see this review."

I live in and own a 2-family home that has flat rook and that is located in the Bronx, NY. I live in the lower unit and my tenants live in the upper unit, which is right below the roof. Our current and previous tenants would often complain that the rental unit felt cold when the temperature outside fell and my wife said that even when the indoor temperature in that unit was high, the unit felt drafty, which can make the unit feel colder than it actually is as the heat escapes through the roof rapidly. A contractor who installed kitchen for us in that unit told us that our roof had absolutely no insulation- something he saw when he installed the exhaust for range hood. So last year, I decided to call this company for a quote. My hope was that insulating the roof would significantly decrease the release of heat, which would make the unit warmer and reduce airflow (i.e., drafts). When I called, a really nice receptionist answered the phone, took my information down, and answered a few questions, and told me that the owner, Joe, would call me back either the same day or the next. The reason for this is that Joe is usually out doing roof insulations himself. When Joe called back, I was quoted a price of $3.00/square foot, but decided not to go ahead at that time. He was very nice and polite and is willing to answer lots of questions. He seems really passionate about his work and will describe in pretty significant detail what he does. This year, we decided to pull the trigger so we called back and received a quote of $2.50/square foot- a savings of $500 to insulate our 1,000 square foot roof. As you can imagine, that made me happy. We spoke on Friday and set up an appointment for Wednesday (5 days later). Joe and one of his workers arrived with their truck at 7:30 am and were finished by 9:45 am. The process was so much faster than I could have imagined. And, they didn't even have to come inside the house! Joey and his worker used a 40-ft tall ladder to scale the front of the house (it's 3 stories high) and to take their equipment up to the roof. Once up there, they used an electric saw to make a hole (they might have made 2) through which to blow in the insulation. The noise from the saw lasted about 10-15 minutes, after which the work they were doing was relatively quiet. I was actually really amazed at how non-intrusive the whole thing was and how quickly the job was completed. Joey made sure to show me exactly what kind of insulation he was using and gave me written materials about the product he was using (blow-in fiberglass). If Angie's List lets me update this review, I will definitely write back once we have experienced the insulation in cold weather to describe how well it is working.

The service was excellent! I had gotten an estimate earlier this year and Mr. Jacinto remained true to his word. They arrived earlier than the scheduled appointment time (which I appreciated) due to a forecasted rain storm. They were quick, cleaned up afterwards and I even got to view the finished project. In addition, Mr. Jacinto sent me the before and after pictures of the attic. He is very detail oriented and explained everything to me. Also, pointing out the trouble spots in the corners of the house, which he filled. The service exceeded my expectations and was a very good home improvement experience!

It was a great pleasure to work with Joey from start to finish. We first meet Joey in January of this year for an estimate and measurements. He was very punctual, polite, and extremely knowledgeable about different types insulation. He was very patient to listen to us and provided some best options to meet our needs and quote us a price which we thought was fair. He was not a pushy sales person and left the price quote for us to make a decision. Finally, after 8 month later we decided to go forward with Federal Conservation and called Joey back to finish the work. Surprisingly, he remembered us and asked us to send a copy of the price quote to him for review. He honored the old price quote and agreed to finish the job! He was very flexible in terms of scheduling the appointment and came to our house on a Labor day weekend to complete the job! He and his crew was extremely friendly and finished the job onetime. After finishing the first job, he also gave me great discount to insulate one of my back bedroom for another house only for few hundred bucks. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we are defiantly going to hire him again. BTW, Joey has a great sense of humor as well :)

This was a big deal purchase. It did not work out well. The man was very friendly. He came, did the work and then within a month to six weeks we found that there was mold. We found that they did not do the job properly. They had put too much insulation in and blocked off the ventilation. We were very upset and for a month my son had been sick and it was near his rom that this mold situation was happening. When he came he said he would fix it. We wanted him to remove that and he said it was not necessary to remove it and that they would just remove the top layer. The whole thing sounded shady to us. He was willing to fix it but we were not happy with the way he was going to fix it. We also felt it should not have happened. He said he had been in the business 20-30 years. We felt he should know how much insulation to put in. There also was a bathroom vent that went into the attic that was not connected when he left. He was willing to fix it but we went with another company that took out what he did. When we told him we were upset and wanted him to pay for the second insulation he said he would do it, but we said we did not like the way he did it so he gave us $500. That was for what he thought was fair for replacing it. The price was fine. What he could have done better was to replace the insulation fibers, including cleaning it. It took about six weeks to get the money.

"Mr.&Mrs. [Member Name Removed], I am writing to in respond to your review. I am sorry you are not satisfied with the work done. When you called and said you had a issue I came over right a way. I pride myself in my work and try and make all my clients happy. although some times you can not make everyone happy.(customers like yourselves) I went back to your home and showed you the problem and even offered to fix it at no charge the first time. After talking we came to a dissension that you would be happy with a credit. I refunded you $[Member Information Removed].00 for something I did not do. In hope that you would call the bathroom contractor and have him take care of the error of not putting in a exhaust fan in a bathroom properly it was excused into the attic and covered with old product from years before.(it was hidden and out of site. If it was not for me going into the bathroom I would have never seen that there was a unit that was exhausted improperly .This was a project that would have cost no more than $200.00 to fix. I did my best for you coming back 2 times to try and correct another contractors error but you refused my services.. As I said I am proud of the work I do not like contractors that give me and my fellow outstanding contractors a bad name.I was surprised to see the review given. I am sorry your refund did not come in a timely manner. I have been very busy with satisfied clients. My review show that we do exceptional work. I did not get the reputation I have by doing shabby work. Know matter what you would not have been happy. The best thing to do was to give you a credit so that you can deal with your mold issue that i was unfortunately blamed for. Until i showed you what your problem was. I never expected you to write such a review. I am writing this now so that other contractor can see what kind of client you are and to expect a response like you wrote after being satisfied and signing a waver stating that we were not responsible for any damage caused by unqualified contractors.I wish you luck in your home but please do not call me for service or any other one of my fellow contractors. It was a shame because we did a beautiful job. I wish you really understood and appreciated the work done."

On the confirmed date, Joey arrived with two of his workers. I couldn't believe that he was actually here!. In my experience, most owners send the workers to perform the job - not Joey. Joey, was with his workers explaining what needed to be done and supervising their work. Joey is a great leader who has surrounded himself with the best! His workers are very knowledgeable, they take pride in their work and are very careful. The work took about three hours and I have to say that I feel such a difference in my house already. The hot days we've had do not feel anywhere near as hot as they felt prior to the insulation. My house feels cool and nice. I can't wait for the winter to feel the real difference! I am very thankful to Joey and his team. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs insulation, energy conservation and advise on saving money on utilities!
