Fedor was outstanding. They were the most competitively priced for a very specific manufactured quartz we were looking for. There were no price escalations, the templating and work were both done exactly on time, and they were great to communicate with.

The serviceman came quickly after I called to measure a template for the top.  I went to the store in West Chester to pick a material and fixture.  The people there were helpful and provided a lot of options to choose from as well as gave me advice about which they thought were best.  They completed the table in the time frame they stated.   <br /> Two problems though.  When I got there, they had not cut the holes for the faucet nor did they have the faucet I ordered.  They did cut the holes while I waited and the faucet was delivered to our house a few days later.   <br />  I did the installation myself and it went smoothly; the counter fit well and the faucet was an easy assembly. <br />

We love the new bathrooms!  Fedor's was a great choice for us because we had no idea how to proceed with this project.  Mark Fedor is a real organizer.  He works very hard to keep he project going and on schedule. <br /> This was great for us because we tend to be procrastinators.  If you are a person who needs a push, Fedor's is for you. <br /> We think the quality of our work is great.  All subcontractors were great, especially Dieter (painting) and Polito (tile).   <br /> Workmen in the house were easy to work around, polite, efficient, and kind to our pets. <br /> We got custom work done by Fedor's and love the results. <br />

Yes it is nice when the guys walk out the door. But the test of time? After a year our bath is a marvel of great design with problems solved. <br />

Everything went perfectly.  they arrived on time , made template.  returned a few days latwer and removed old counter, installed new on with new sink, reattached dishwasher and disposal.  Very happy. <br />

It was excellent.  They did an excellent job from beginning to end, showroom to design and installation.  They were very professional and upfront, didn’t try to talk you into out of anything, just make suggestions and didn’t force their issues, you know, just did a great job.  Everybody wants something for nothing but price was in the range that we thought it would be.  Quality was excellent.  All our dealing with them was never a problem.  They were right on time when they said they would be.  They did their job well.  If anything comes up, I will call them.

<p><br /></p> <p>We found Fedor Fabrication through Angie's list along with 2 other contractors.  One contractor told us that any bathroom model regardless of size would cost at least $20,000.  We met a second contractor at their showroom and they took time to explain options and offered a ball park estimate which was in the $17,000 range.  We liked them but they charged a fee for a visit to the home to prepare a detailed estimate.   It would be deducted from the project cost if we decided to go with them.  In the meantime we had already been in discussions with Fedor Fabrication.</p> <p> <br /> <br /></p> <p>Mark Fedor came to the house within a few days after we called.  There was no charge for an estimate.  He took a great interest in our project from the start and gave us the impression that he really wanted the job.  He took us to his showroom where he went through pictures of completed bathroom renovations.  We particularly liked one of them and he took us to the home to show us the bathroom.   It was in grey tones versus the beige we originally had in mind.  We really liked it and decided to go with Mark and do it in grey.</p> <p> <br /> <br /></p> <p>Upfront Mark gave us a good idea of the project scope and estimated timeframe for completion..  He consistently communicated to us about any changes to the schedule and when the workers would be at the home.  Mark used his own team for the demo and the fan, cabinet, toilet topper, mirror, door hardware and electric installation.  He used subs for the tile work, plumbing, painting and the shower glass installation.   Everyone came on time and were pretty good about cleaning up afterwards even with all the snow storms that occurred during the project.  Mark always called after each step to make sure I was satisfied and updated me on the next step.</p> <p> <br /> <br /></p> <p>The bottom line is that the bathroom is beautiful along with functional.  Grey is really the new beige!  Mark was very easy to work with and we really appreciated his approach to keep in constant communication during the project.  We highly recommend Mark Fedor and Fedor Fabrication to anyone considering a bathroom remodel.</p> <p> <br /> <br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p> <br /> <br /></p> <br />

Fedor Fabrications replaced two bathroom sinks with Corian. They first made templates. Our sinks fit perfectly thanks to the accuracy of the measurements and the talent of the person who cut the Corian. We are very happy with the quality & workmanship.

It went very well. Mark Fedor, the owner, was very helpful in choosing the Corian type that suited our kitchen. He was also very helpful in helping to coordinate the counter we chose with a sink and faucet that complement it nicely. I am very happy with the result! My impression is that Mark Fedor and his employees know Corian inside and out. If you want Corian, I highly recommend Fedor Fabrication.  <br />

With Mark's unbeleiveable quality, design and execution, I was pleased that my small project would piggy back on my neighbors work. Yes! it was small but Mark gave it his usual attention. My new exhaust fan is beautiful and functional. The cabinet adaptation was done beautifully. The bath fan was also replaced. Not only is Mark a pleasure to do business with but his employees and subcontractors are too. <br />He devises a schedule and it happens. Very professional! <br />

The entire process took about three months, which included design, demo and installation.  The timetable was very close to what was originally planned (considering it rained, snowed, was freezing, and extremely hot!). <br /> From day one I received a call from the contractor every single evening informing me of the next days' plans/deliveries/hours.  Their timing, with regard to arrival (contractors and their subs) , as well as delivery of materials (lumber, steel beam, cabinets & appliances) had the timing of a well-rehearsed show.   <br /> At the end of each day the area was cleaned and organized, with regard to leaving equipment in place.  <br /> The detail involved in this renovation was so much more than I ever anticipated, however, Mark Fedor ran the show smoothly. <br /> I know he had other crews working on several jobs, but when he was with me, I was the only one who mattered; telephone calls were sent to voice mail, and appointments were never double-booked or forgotten.  We made several road trips to various showrooms, and Mark had the details of my room in his mind; never to be confused with another.  Very impressive.   <br /> Mark's experience made this an exciting process.  Once the job was finished, I missed seeing my new friends everyday. <br /> I am home all day and witnessed the day-by-day work first hand.  I have since chronicled the entire project in a photo album and journal which I would be pleased to share with anyone who is thinking about doing this type of renovation.  It was an excellent experience all around. <br /> <br />

We are just finishing a complete kitchen renovation with Mark Fedor of Fedor Fabrication which prompted me to post this entry.  On this job we found Mark to be thorough, prompt and imaginative.  He guided us to a design with which we are very pleased, the work was done with a very high level of craftsmanship and delivered on time as promised.  The working atmosphere was always very pleasant. <br /> We dealt with Fedor for the first time about 20 years ago when we replaced the Formica in our kitchen with Corian.  Over the years he has put Corian in three bathrooms and renovated one bath completely.  He also replaced a shower in a rental property for us. All of these jobs were completed with excellent design help, fine craftsmanship and on time.  Because I've dealt with Mark for so long, I've had many occasions to refer friends to him.  Everyone has been very satisfied and I know this because they have used him for repeat jobs.  Our daughter hired him too and was very happy especially because hers was a small job which he did quickly and helped her to keep the costs down. <br />

When we did a major house remodel including a Great Room, we left the existing kitchen as was, because it was relatively new. However, after a few months, we realized that the kitchen did not fit with the rest of the room. Mark did interactive designing on his lap top, so the kitchen remodel would harmonize with the rest of the room. All phases of the job went smoothly and professionally. Mark and his team were a pleasure to work with.  The kitchen includes ceramic tile floor, stone on one wall, low maintenance Quartsz countertops and special lighting effects. Mark also worked out a design so we could re-use the Corian countertops and cabinets from the old kitchen to upgrade our laundry room, and installed it. We are very satsified with the result. <br />

They measured, took out old counter and installed new one.  very neat and clean. a few years later my husband really scratched it with a metal paint can, and even though it was a little job, they said they could do it in between jobs, and called a week later and said they could come and buffed the whole counter for me.  fabulous job.  still going strong after all these years. <br />

Sean of Fedor was extremely helpful with everything .  We had asked for an estimate several months earlier and then called it off because we thought we might move instead of re-do our house.  When we decided to go forward we called Sean again and he had all of our data ready to go instantly.  We were having troube deciding what material to use and Sean was very informative with intelligent information on all materials.  When we were deciding to maybe use soapstone he sent us to another contractor to get prices and information. <br /> After much research and help from Sean we decided that Corian would be the best surface for our kitchen based on the extreme use we give it. <br /> The fabricators were wonderful. Chris and crew were always on time, very cheerful and responsive to all of our questions.  They made the templates and then made a special effort to get the countertops placed in the following week. <br /> We are thrilled with our choice and the way the work was done.  Everyone was courteous, responsive on time and cleaned up well.  We had a few other estimates but nothing compared to Fedor.  The way in which this job was handled would be worth even more than we paid as opposed to bad experiences we had at some big box stores. <br />

Very profesional. The workers are very neat and skilled.  As with any redo there were unexpected problems but all went smoothly. 

They were excellent, outstanding, punctual, responsible, and creative. I'd grade them A across the board.

Mark and his company designed and implemented the whole kitchen remodel. They were pleasant, neat, and punctual. They were able to get the whole job done in three weeks. Mark spent 6 hours with us the first day to talk and plan with us. He wasn’t going to charge us for that if we didn’t end up going with his company! When we picked out our cabinets, Mark actually took us to homes that had the cabinets installed to view them before finalizing our choice.

If you use this company as a general contractor, MAKE SURE you get everything in writing, and make sure it is detailed (i.e., $500 for electric, and then a detailed list of what that entails - - putting in new electrical socket, replacing wires, etc.) and MAKE sure you get permits. <br /> <br /> I'll start with the positives:  Mark Fedor wants to please his customers.  He's a nice guy, and he wants to do a good job.  He's connected and the subcontractors he uses are excellent.  His tile guy, and the SECOND plumber he used were exceptional.  Mark took our calls, even when he knew we were unhappy. You do not have to worry about Mark running from a problem or taking your money and running. <br /> <br /> More positive: The end results of the bathrooms are awesome.  They look great and so far, no problems.  If we do experience problems down the road, I will update my review. <br /> <br /> This project took over three months to complete.  This was our first time using a contractor, and we made some rookie mistakes,  First, we should have gotten a work schedule from him prior to hiring.  Next, we should have waited for him to get the permits BEFORE he started demo.  Third, we should have been a little firmer on the front end about our expectations.  We really let him drive things at the start, and that was a definite mistake.  Fourth, with his written contract, we didn't make him put in the specifics (this one really came back to haunt us). <br /> <br /> I think if Mark tried the approach of under promise, over deliver, he would be much better off.   Even when he puts things in writing, he will try to change things  - - up to payment amount and payment schedule.  We gave in on some things, and paid him earlier than agreed to a couple of times, and then later we finally had to start saying no.  He seemed to take it personally. <br /> <br /> He made promises that his workers were "ultra clean" and block off areas with plastic.   His workers were inconsistent with taking care to protect our home from unneeded dirt overspill.  To be fair, I never raised this as an issue because there were so many other battles to fight.  His subcontractors were EXCELLENT in respecting our home and cleaning up after themselves. <br /> <br /> Mark needs to work on his project management skills.  He completely underestimated what was needed to get a permit in my township (Plymouth).  We paid more than double what we should have for the permits, all because Mark didn't do his homework on the front end.  Turns out the first plumber he wanted to use didn't have a license, so that contributed to the hold up.  <br /> <br /> My favorite was when he asked us for a payment early (after we had already paid him early once before), and we reminded him of our agreed upon payment structure - - - in writing, final, and signed by everyone - - - - and he said, why would I agree to that?  As if he agreed to something crazy - we paid thirds, so it was a basic structure. <br /> <br /> Working with his workers was pretty unpleasant. They knew Mark wasn't coming to inspect their work on a consistent basis, and it showed.  We called Mark to talk about problems along the way, and we were treated like we were over reacting  Finally, my husband drove out to West Chester and showed Mark pictures  - - - - water coming through shower doors from bad caulk job, and attic left in complete shamble when the vented a fan, etc.  - - - - and then he apologized to my husband.  However, after that, he emailed me and said that it seems like I cannot be satisfied.  If you're married, expect Mark to use the "divide and conquer" approach. <br /> <br /> I think if you use this company as a subcontractor with a different project manager, you're golden.  I hear nothing but good things about his counter top work. If you use him as a general contractor, proceed with caution.  I cannot emphasize this enough:  Make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing, and make sure you get permits!! <br /> <br /> To end on a positive note, our bathrooms are nice.  And we're happy with him. Buy boy, it sure was painful getting there. <br /> <br /> If I have time later, I'll update with some pictures of the various things we experienced along the way, as well as the finished product. <br /> <br /> And who knows, we all have bad days. Maybe this was just his version of a bad day.
