Fenrich Custom Finishes

A disappointment no less. Paul presents himself as the Painting Perfectionist. In fact, his email reflects this motto. It was in part one the reasons we selected the services of Fenrich. <br />Unfortunately the work provided by his crew was not performed by tradesmen. We would have been satisfied with quality work but the level of performance by family fill ins is very different than a trained painter. <br />A quality commensurate with how he billed us and how the work was to be performed. <br /> Paul's wife lost her job so she was on the job, so was his dad who was layed off. They helped since his regular guys were unavailable. <br />In the end, Paul left our job. The remaining work and touch ups as he called the numerous oversights, spots of overspray, see through and missed spots. The hardware needs to be put back on, and so do the doors. Lots of work left unfinished. We paid Paul prompt at each billing cycle. <br />It is our impression that a time and materials job is not in a customers best interest, especially when a interior area smaller than 2000 sq ft consumed over 300 hours by his crew. The inconsistencies in time, performance and crew members hurt the paint job of our home. We are sorry about the Broken down vehicles, the job loss, deaths, and hardships which affected his crew and self which also affected the quality and performance. We only wanted our home painted and completed in a normal timely fashion by painting professionals like we agreed. <br />Paul came to work unprepared, having to leave to fetch things, like filters for a vacuum or return to home. <br />Furthermore, to aggravate things, Paul mentioned having Contractor work, as though this would mean our work was no longer a priority, the time he spent in our home then became spotty, so was the quality. It was unfortunate we bet on this young painter. It was our initial impression it would have been a good fit. <br />I regret I didn't use certi pro painters. <br />Paul is now sharing untrue information about payment for his work. <br />
