Two months after the technician said he cleaned the vent, the dryer stopped working. Called another company and they found the vent was clogged. Ferrees only cleaned the outside of the vent and never actually came into the house to clean the entire vent. New company said that we were very close to a fire starting because of the severe clog.

7/24/2015 The provider showed up with another person, they were courteous. They proceeded to give us half the time that we paid for, promising to come back and finish the job. They were only able to do the walls of a tiny room in the time they were at our home. None of the trim etc. (My husband has painted these rooms many times and done twice as much in the same time by himself.) The paint job itself is terrible. Completely missed spots. <br /> We never heard from them again. We essentially flushed the money. <br />

<p>He and his helper showed up when expected and were very courteous but the job was done poorly, the wood flooring is uneven which is very noticeable, also when the linoleum was installed instead of removing the vanity and cutting out where the toilet sits it was cut and has some areas where it was not cut straight so it is tearing in places and the grout is not holding the linoleum is coming up around the wall and the bottom of the tub, I have called Stephen several times and he and his helper came once and he said he would come back and fix it when he completed the other jobs he was working on which was fine with me but this was in July, I have been more than patient, at this point I do not want him to return to my house so I called about two weeks ago and left a message requesting my money be returned so I can have someone fix his mistakes and he has not responded. I am 69 and living on a fixed income and do not have the money to have it done over. </p> <p>I joined Angie's list to avoid these problems.</p> <br />

They were terrible. We're going to have to go back and repaint. They didn't do the work they're supposed to do. They sent one guy instead of two guys. They ended up charging me $30 and we just got our money back on the whole $200 deal they have. He got paint all over the white ceiling which was still there. We're going to have to get an extra tall ladder. The guy came and he didn't have a ladder with him so he used ours. He left and the walls were painted pale green and he got green paint all over our ceiling. I just wanted him to get out of there. He was very nice but it was obvious he didn't know what he was doing. He was unprepared. He did the best he could. He made a mess and I just let him go. We were going to have them do the estimate. We're going to have some extensive work done like painting all the trim and the kitchen as well as the staircase and the walls on our staircase. They didn't even bother to come and do the estimate. They sent just that one guy. We already tried twice and they broke an appointment so we gave up.

They were always courteous and hard working, and did a good job. We got estimates for some additional work and may use them in the future. We feel his prices are fair and reasonable. When we need something done we think of them. <br />

The job preformed was wonderful! Steve and Eric were prompt and very efficient. The ceiling fan and screens they installed took less than two hours. The whole time they were in my home they were polite and professional. I would call them back in a second and I am going to tell all my family and friends about how great there work is. The men who came were punctual and courteous. In the 3.5 hours they painted (I expected them to paint for 4), they painted the 2 doors and surrounding trim, and the corner cabinet. As mentioned in another review, painting does not seem to be the strength of this company. I am going to have to repaint the walls on the side of the trim as their painters don't do well on edging. At one point around the doors, they even painted over tape that had been left from painting the walls, rather than simply pulling it off. Who does that? <br /> I have photos of the messed up lines that intrude into the wall paint, but I don't see how to upload them. I can not believe the painters didn't try to correct these lines. I wasn't asked at the end to review the work. While I liked the two guys for their courtesy and their care with my animals, their painting was not of the professional level. I got painters so that these lines would look great and professional--now I will have to correct what they have done, which is disappointing. <br /> <br /> <br /> I wish I could upload photos of the lines, because I have never seen supposedly professional painters do such a rough job on the edges around the trim.

"Thank you for the review. As was stated by the customer she would like us to start in the cabinet and another room(2 painters different rooms). The lack of information was that these were solid wooden cabinets and doors. I informed the customer that the doors and the cabinet does not need a de-glosser due to you are putting oil base over oil base which she agreed to. we also worked from 9:00 am to 12:45 pm which is a reasonable time to stop to clean up the areas we were working in. We have photos of the job and we did not get paint on walls or on tape. We went as far as to remove the tape around the window in the dining room in order to not have the paint we put on the wood in the window ripped off from the oil base being dry. Than you again for the review."

Arrived on time, courteous, clean, extremely thorough even though he had to take my faucet apart to clear up a problem caused by another contractor who did not instal a new valve correctly. Have used this provider in the past and will continue to use him exclusively in the future. cannot say enough good things about him and his service. <br />

Mr. Ferree arrived on schedule, had the necessary parts, saw immediately what needed to be done, completed the job in a workmanlike manner, and showed me how to use the new "sharkbite" fittings he installed--they are different than those in the rest of my house. I would not hesitate to call him again for plumbing repairs. <br /> The only negative involved communication in advance. Apparently he was ill for a few weeks, but I was unable to get a reply for some time after I purchased the special offer. In future I will expect better communication. <br /> <br />

They did a good job but there were a few areas they missed that I had to finish myself.
