I hired Brandon to mortar the top brick of our retaining wall and planters. He responded immediately to the request for quote. He returned with a fair price and worked with our schedule. The day of the project, Brandon arrived as scheduled and got right to work. He was very pleasant and clearly enjoys his work. The work was completed on time and he let the site clean. I am already working with him on quote for a second project. I highly recommend Brandon and Portland Metro Masonry.

Brandon and his team rebuilt our chimney this last February as our old one was falling apart due to the mortar deteriorating. Their bid came in well below the other 3 bids we received which gave us a bit of pause, but after talking to Brandon he mentioned that the higher bids might have been because of our metal roof, which some companies just don't want to deal with. We went with them and the rebuild went by seamless with good communication from the company, however 9 months later we had a roof leak that was definitely coming from the chimney area. I called Brandon to let him know and he was there the next morning and fixed the problem. Technically the issue was from our roof flashing, not the chimney counter flashing (so not Portland Metro Masonry's liability), but Brandon fixed it anyways and also said that if it came up again to call him and they'd come back by and remedy it. That kind of customer service is rare these days and while I doubt we'll be getting a chimney rebuild anytime soon, he will be our service for future cleanings as well as my recommendation for anyone needing masonry work. Thanks Brandon, your communication and customer service is second to none. Keep up the great work.

We had an awesome experience from start to finish with Portland Metro Masonry. Our new flagstone patio has exceeded our expectations! The quote was competitive & Brandon did a great job talking us through our options. Brandon and Dan worked their magic maneuvering & shaping the stone. We received several bids on the rebuild of our chimney and I had the opportunity to talk with reps from each including Brandon from Portland Metro Masonry. Not only was PMM's bid competitive, Brandon was the only contractor that spent time addressing all our questions and concerns and brought to light other issues we were not aware were problematic. Once the job was scheduled, Brandon and his crew arrived and began the process of repair, doing so in a timely manner and with great care to impact us as little as possible. Our chimney has a very large fir tree next to it and the crew worked hard to accommodate and protect the tree while setting up scaffolding and removing old brick and mortar around it. We are delighted with the outcome and especially pleased with the decorative finish applied to the top of the chimney. We would highly recommend Portland Metro Masonry. They are professional, friendly and highly concerned with providing quality service and making sure the customer is satisfied.

Brandon and Dan replaced a 67yr old block retaining wall and repaired and weather treated large block walls on the house. These two are highly skilled and work together like as a well oiled machine. They listen to your needs and I doubt their quality can be beat.

This was a huge job, major work on two lodge-sized fireplaces and a thirty- foot stone chimney. I got a bid from Brandon, not cheap, but after watching he and his crew laboring for two weeks, appropriate for the extensive work performed. Outstanding results in all respects from a skilled and tight-knit crew, and probably one of the few outfits with the grit, know-how and masonry chops to take such an elaborate project on.
