Bought a house and moved to Canandaigua in the summer of 2023. Great house, but the deck needed work. Was really the only thing on the house that did. I hired Sean to replace the decking and repair the stairs. The rails were still in good shape, just needed to be re-stained (Still do, that's a job for me for this spring). He showed up on-time, and got to work with the demo. During the demo it was discovered that several of the joists were rotting and needed to be replaced. We negotiated the additional cost (it was fair) and added that scope to the work. Of course, that meant the job was going to take longer than originally estimated, but Sean took it in stride, showed up every day, did the work, cleaned up after himself, and produced a nice looking deck for me. I'll be calling him first thing in the future should I have any work I need done that's in his wheelhouse.
