So he came out gave a price we agreed upon. She showed up and due to a piece of wood needing to be installed he changed the price. I was ok with that and agreed to the new price. That happened on 10/3, I told him we were not in a rush to tape and mud so I afforded him the flexibility to do in the next 1-2 weeks. I also paid him $250 which was all but $50 of agreed price. After reaching out to him he tells me he will not do the work for remaining $50 and needs more money $100. So after some back and forth he is not going to change the terms on me and he isn?t going to complete the job for the agreed upon price. So we paid him $250 for a piece of wood and this drywall he put up. We made the mistake of trusting him to A. Do a good job and B. To do it for the price we agreed on. The original agreement was $250, but with the extra wood installation I agreed to $300. I would not recommend working with someone that wants to renegotiate terms and prices after the fact.
