Fine Floors installed our new wood floors, they managed our expectations through the ordering process and everything happened as expected. The installation team was very good...took care of our entire house quickly and efficiently. We got it for a great price. I highly recommend them!

Fine Floors did entire down stair laminate floor, kitchen back splash and hooked after counter top work (done by other service provider) for me. I am quite happy with the result of the floor and back splash. Both Ash and Samy are very nice to work with.

The work was completed very quickly. They were able to complete it in 2 days and had more then 9 workers yesterday to finish out.

This is the second job that Fine Floors has done for us.  Ash was very helpful from the beginning to the end, he allowed me to take several samples home and even made some very helpful suggestions.  Jose and his team did an amazing job on the installation and clean up afterward.  Jose went above and beyond helping me choose grout colors and the direction to lay the tile.  Fantastic job, and great prices, will definitely use them again!

Great!  The whole process of working first with Ash, our salesman, through Jose and his team of installers was excellent.  Ash came to our home to do measurements of the rooms we wanted new floors in, he sat down and talked us through costs, and worked with our budget.  The whole process of new flooring was very quick.  After we signed the contract with Ash, the installation crew was here within two weeks, and the demo/installation was done in one day.  The installation crew was punctual, courteous, and professional in every way, and most importantly, they did an outstanding job in the demo and installation! <br />

I liked their price. They researched and tried to find the kind of flooring we wanted. They really worked with us and they did the work in an efficient way. They were quick. I wish they would have done better with the clean up.

It was perfect. We love our new floors. Fine Floors did an incredible job for us. This was a turnkey operation and the team worked faster than I thought possible...important when you're doing the whole house. They were here everyday when they said they would be and everything was cleaned up when they left. We're thrilled with the workmanship! I smile every time I pass our updated fireplace! <br />

After obtaining estimates from four separate companies we were favorably impressed by a sales representative (Kelly) at Fine Floors in Plano who was easy to work with and provided us with a competitive estimate. After selecting them as our preferred contractor we discovered that Kelly no longer worked for the company and it was necessary to work with Ash. Fine Floors works with Galaxy Granite as their granite provider who sent two people to our house to measure the kitchen counters.We then visited Galaxy to select the granite that we liked and told Galaxy of our preferred choice and asked them to reserve one of three slabs, and selected an installation date. We advised Fine Floors of our choice and that we were supposed to return to Galaxy to approve the template and layout of the slab for the kitchen. When we visited Galaxy to approve the template our original selected slab was gone and no template had been prepared. Only one slab remained (not our original choice) and it had been marked up with chalk by someone else who no longer wanted the slab.  At this point, had we not have already paid 50% of the contracted price we would have cancelled this work. <br /> <br /> When Galaxy showed up to do the installation more than half of the installation went well, however, due to improper measurements originally taken one of the window sils was too long and had to be cut and spliced in the center...looked really bad. Furthermore, the 16-gauge stainless steel kitchen sink that we purchased from them and undermounted by them did not properly fit the shape of the cut-out. When they came back to adjust the sink, they had to disconnect the plumbing and reconnect it. During this process a surface crack showed up left side of the sink. Also, when they placed the braces under the sink the screws they used went all the way through the cabinet wall into the cabinet space...two times. Finally, we were told by the installer that the granite was sealed at the fabrication company, yet when the person came out to replace the window sil he told us that the sealing is always done after the installation. Just too many different stories. <br /> <br /> The back splash was installed on 6/10/14, approximately six weeks after the installation of the granite. This work was done by a Fine Floors contractor. Work quality was average at best with attention to detail only fair. Clean-up was  poor as there was tile grout on virtually every cabinet. Tiles were not seated evenly in some areas and in several places the verticle lines were not straight. The project manager was absent for most of the installation. <br /> <br /> In all fairness Galaxy Granite was always willing to send someone out to correct any problem and they did more than once . However, they just didn't get it right the first time and the original problems were difficult to fix and several of them still remain. Fine Floors made reasonable efforts to resolve issues but follow-up inspection and communication was lacking. In hindsight I believe that many of the overall problems with this project might have been avoided with better up-front communication about the various installation options including options for sink installation (flush mount between granite and sink vs. having an undermount with a lip over the sink), the best options for backsplash tiles and why, and a clear explanation of the overhang dimentions on the granite, i.e. 3/4" overhang on all cabinet surfaces. Perhaps the departure of our original sales representative contributed to some of these communication gaps.

Fine Floors recently installed Anderson engineered hardwood in one of our bedrooms and I highly recommend.  Since it was just for one bedroom I really appreciated there was no minimum sq footage or an upcharge.  Kelly & Ash came out quickly to measure, worked with me to get the best price, regularly kept in touch and were easy to work with.  Jose and his team of installers were professional,  polite, cleaned up afterward and had great communication.  Jose noticed there were issues with the original wood and contacted the distributor to get a replacement.  This had to be inconvenient for him since he had to stop the job, pack it all up,  redeliver another shipment to acclimate and come back another day to install.  I really appreciated that he was more interested in getting the job done right than going through the motions to just get it done.  Over the course of the four times Jose was here I noticed he had the same team with him (I?ve heard other companies use temporary laborers).   I will definitely use Fine Floors and Jose to install this same floor in the other bedrooms and Ash said he would honor the same low price! <br />

They were VERY professional and kind. The workers who installed our carpet and hardwood floors were extremely hard working people. They showed up on time and worked straight throughout the day.  Fast service, good prices, great selection - we are so happy with our floors!! I would highly recommend them to anyone. <br />

Kelly (saleswoman) came out to the house and gave a very thorough assessment and quote for the engineered hardwood installation and gave us some great advice on what to do for the stairs, etc.  The quote was comparable, if not a little lower, than most of the other places we had talked to.  However, the carpet was quoted too low and we ended up paying more for a better quality product which I'm glad we did..it looks great.  We had a scheduled install date but it ended up being postponed a few days before due to the installer being behind on another job.  Unfortunately, none of the dates worked for us so the install was pushed back by 2 weeks.   <br /> The install crew (Jose was lead) were prompt, kind and performed quality work even with our constantly barking dogs.  The baseboards are pretty banged up and there are scuffs on walls but we can deal with a little painting for beautiful floors.  Overall, I was very happy with the installation and the floors look great.   <br /> The carpet guy was supposed to follow 2 days after the other installers.  However, he never showed and when I called the Fine Floors store, I was told that the installer couldn't get ahold of me the day before the install and thus cancelled (I never received a call or message).  He ended up coming on Sunday and he was nice as can be and the stairs look great.   <br /> Overall, we had a good experience with the quality of the work and the installation teams.  I just wish there would've been better follow up from the business.

They did a great job.  The only criticism was, they have to do the moulding around and it is not always the best.  It could have been a little bit more finished, there are gaps here in there, I asked the guy and he said that is the only way they can do it.  I wish they would have done a little bit more fine finishing on it was on the moulding.  Other than that they worked hard and they have to level the floor before they put it in.  They did a great job...the floor is going to be there forever, they glued it in.

First of I would like thank Ash and team for the excellent job they done. Applause !! Applause !! Applause <br /> I bought a new house which had tile flooring in first floor for most part. I wanted to get them removed from the and get a good quality hardwood flooring. I did some shopping around to find the good variety and price for the floors. While I wanted good service, I was conscious about the cost. For the options I got, Ash was providing me the same services at much reasonable price. I was little skeptical initially but I trusted my fellow Angie's list members and decided to go with Fine floors. And I must admit that I was impressed for the quality of craftsmanship and service at great price. <br /> If I have to do any kind of flooring work anywhere, I would go with Ash without a doubt and would recommend to my friends and family as well. <br /> Thanks Ash. <br /> Saumil <br />
