We are a full service construction company and general contractor. We have been in business for approx 14 years. We offer construction of new additions as well as remodeling of any existing areas of your home. We generally take all of our projects from design to final inspections with the help of your final selections of fixtures. We are fully insured and licensed in New Jersey and are also able to work in Pennsylvania. He did a great job. The room looked fantastic. He worked really hard with few breaks the whole time he was there. He was very friendly and professional. He came with his truck full of all his tools and cleaned up before he left. Frienly guy. <br />

I purchased the Angie's List deal of four hours of Handyman's services for $99. <br /> It took a while to schedule, firstly, because it was mainly outdoor work, and when we couldn't find a date in the fall, I waited until the spring.After that, the company was very unresponsive when I tried to arrange an appointment. At one point, I offered a three week window when he could pick his four hours and didn't hear from him. <br /> I thought someone would come by ahead of time to discuss what I was looking for, maybe give me an idea of what the time frame would be for the various tasks. But I was only asked for a description of the jobs over the phone. On the scheduled morning, the company still wasn't sure what I was asking or even if they needed a ladder. (They eventually borrowed mine). <br /> The concrete patching started cracking within days of the job. I called the company about this, but they didn't get back to me. <br /> The carpentry work was sufficient, but the work didn't allow my door to close. The workers were in their truck and about to leave when I noticed this. <br /> They didn't bother to cleanup the sawdust. <br /> I don't know why Finished Edge wants to be on Angie's List, much less offer special deals, when the follow up with such mediacre work. <br />

"Although Mr. [member anem remove]did call and leave a message, I do apologize for not getting back to you. I had no idea whatsoever that you were unhappy with the work completed at your house. That would have been a nice conversation at the time. While I understand things are not perfect, the reason we ask what needs to be done is because it's a deal at that price and we are trying to do as much as we can in the four hours of being there. Also I do recall that my carpenters spent an additional 45 minutes at your residence and u were not charged. If u did not want them to use your ladder you could have said no and I would have taken care of it since I was having conversations with them about what was happening at your residence. In the future, I as a business owner would like to somehow make it up to u, but repairs are just that, repairs and I can't guarantee they will be perfect and how long they will last."

It went fine, but when I asked them about replacing a thermostat, he thought his guy could do it. However, the guy messed it up and I had to find someone else to fix it. Everything else was really good. The workers were also courteous, clean, and arrived on time. I would use them again.

This was a four-hour handyman special. My pet priorities were five internal doors that were unable to close or had loose hinges, or were coming off their slider track. Dino was the carpenter who came from Finished Edge to tackle the job, meticulously taking the heavy wooden doors off for planing/sanding, adjusting springs, re-installing hinges and tuning up the latch alignments. Now all the doors line up beautifully, close smoothly and latch easily. <br /> Dino was on time, pleasant, professional and cleaned up so well you wouldn't know he'd been here. He used drop cloths and vacuumed up wood shavings and sawdust, explained to me what he was going to do and why, then went ahead and got the jobs done. I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Finished Edge.

Everything went fine. We had trouble getting in touch with them and we finally set it up. Then we had to cancel once because of them and once because of us but it finally were done. My wife took care of everything and we were happy. My son had some insurance work done and he wanted to finish up some work in the same room. Everybody seemed happy with the service. We were very satisfied with the price. Once we ironed that communication issue, they were very responsive to us and they changed the appointment to whenever we needed to change for our own reasons.

I purchased the $99 handyman service for 4 hours off Angies List. The company forgot about our appointment on the dtae of service and I had to call them to see if they were still coming. The company apologized and was very professional about it. We resheduled for two days later. I understand that mistakes happen. On the date of service, everything was completed to my liking. The carpenter was knowledgable, detailed, and cleaned his work area. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend their services in the future. <br />

Jack got in touch with me immediately after I'd purchased the "deal" and made an appointment. Vincent arrived promptly, and very quickly handled everything I hired him to do. He was courteous, professional, and efficient. It's not easy to find someone who's willing to do small, but necessary, repairs. Couldn't be happier with this company. <br />

He has done a lot of things for us. His prices started out very fair and his work is very good but then the rest of the estimates I got from him seemed to be somewhat out of line so I didn't use him for those things. His work is good and he is responsible and reliable. In the beginning his prices were very good but when I compared them on the latter because I've been working with him for about 8 months now, the latter estimates were somewhere out of line. I wouldn’t have let him do the work if I hadn't thought he was fair. He calls right back. I would use him again.

"Please allow me to at some point in the future to bid on more of the work you may require. I bid any job based on materials, time and difficulty of the job. If I need to use a sub contractor for work such as roofing or siding, I add an appropriate cost to the bottom line for overhead and profit. I am sorry if I made you feel as if you're proposals for the work, which may have been coming thru a subcontractor was out of your expected price range. thanks and hope to hear from you again. I now refer people to your upholstery business in Riverside. Thanks again and it was a pleasure doing business with you and your husband."

The guy is great. We liked his first job and then we called him the second time because he does it on time and he does it like he is suppose to. He does fantastic work. Yes, I have already used him after the first time he did something I used him again. Then there was something else and I have used him again.

It was a generally positive experience. I needed to call once or twice to follow up on a quote & visit, but they responded when I called. He has good general handyman skills - greater with carpentry. He was not able to fix the front outdoor light. I purchased a new switch but needed to call electrician to finish. He was also polite. The price came out to @ $50.00/hr.
