Cody came to my home last Tuesday to repair my oven. I was really afraid that I would not be able to get it fixed in time for the holidays, but he was able to make it happen. We had Cody from First Aid Appliance come out and service our Whirlpool fridge, freezer, Bosch ovens, Thermador range & downdraft exhaust AND our LG washer. Cody was professional, on time and even communicated with us as he was on his way from previous job to give us ETA. He was able to assess each appliance, fix & repair what he could on-site and quote us for what parts needed to be ordered and what estimated labor would be. He was very honest about what needed to be ordered, explained everything so it made sense to my husband and I. He is definitely knowledgeable about appliances and knows his brands from years of experience working with them which was great since it seemed every single one of our appliances needed repairs or need to be replaced! After seeing the ratings and reviews for First Aid, I was quick to call them. Cody (I’m assuming owner/operator) answered the phone and was very friendly. Unfortunately he was also booked out for several days, and this was an emergency. Cody told me to call him back if I couldn’t find anyone to come out today, and he would try to squeeze me in somehow. About a hour later, Cody called and said he could fit me in from 5-6. He called about 15 minutes before 5:00, and told me he was about 15 minutes away (punctual guy). Cody quickly diagnosed the problem, and was upfront about the cost of repairs. He told us that we would be better off getting a new refrigerator verses paying him to fix ours, and gave us several brands to look for and some features to stay away from. Since the diagnosis only took a few minutes, Cody cut a third of his cost for the visit. I would definitely recommend First Aid Appliance Service, and plan on using them again… if needed!
