It went extremely well. Steve was prompt in communicating and in getting the appointment set up. During the home inspection he was focused and professional and reviewed everything as though it were a home he was looking to buy for himself. His final report was detailed and clear. Steve is the most thorough, knowledgeable, and meticulous home inspector available. He is heads and shoulders above the run-of-the-mill home inspector. You quickly notice he has a comprehensive understanding of building codes and standards, and a keen eye for detail. His report was thorough and understandable, and he made time to discuss each finding with us. He saved us far more than the cost of his report but, more importantly, allowed us to move forward with an expensive home purchase with confidence that we were not buying a property with unknown defects. We would recommend Steve without hesitation and would hire him again.

I'm very pleased with the Steve's service, he voice recorded and took photos of the issues of the home that were fire and electrical issues and future problems in the house. Steve found half dozen cracked roof tiles in need of repair. Steve's really knows his profession and is top notch..I would definitely hire him for other inspections.

Steve Stenros did a thorough inspection which turned up multiple issues, including termites, water damage, plumbing issues, and various safety issues. The inspection report was extremely thorough, detailed, and helpful. Steve is very professional, quick, organized, knowledgable, personable, and a highly recommend him for inspection in San Diego.

Steve was organized but took time to examine all aspects of the house and pool. Very concise verbal summary of the repair issues at conclusion of inspection. Written report was clear and detailed as to repairs needed or in one instance for further investigation by specialized contractor. Highly recommend.

I've used First Choice Inspections multiple times and have never been disappointed in the thoroughness of their work. They've identified multiple problems and in one case issues so severe that we backed out of the deal to purchase a house. They even have a service to walk you through the repairs that are required after the inspection is complete. I'd highly recommend them

Steve was amazing, punctual, friendly and very professional. My wife and I were very impressed with his level of expertise and when he walked us through his findings. All with a great smile and sense of humor. We received all his reports within a few hours of the inspection and on the next day, another report with all the appliances recorded and recalls which we didn't even realize it was included and was a great surprise. I strongly recommend his services.

Steve with First Choice Inspections is excellent. He is so organized and diligent in his inspection process. He may be more expensive than some others but he really knows his profession and construction. If you want to be sure you are getting a through examination of the condition of a property he is the one to use. He also provides some extra touches like providing all the recall upgrades for inspected appliances, a well documented report and has the ability to do inferred imaging for heat loss areas and potential water intrusion. This is a situation were you get the first class work you have paid for.

For insurance purposes we needed to figure out whether the roof was older than 20 years. I called Steve of First Choice Inspections. He picked up the phone right away and we made an appointment for a couple days later. He was on time and after checking the roof he wrote a comprehensive report that I forwarded to the insurance company. Steve is knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I would hire him again.

If you are searching on Angie's List for a Home Inspection, look no further. Steve from First Choice Inspections is the one to go with. I thoroughly reviewed a hefty list of home inspectors in San Diego on Angie's List, and I immediately saw that Steve had the best and most reviews. Now that the home inspection is done and the report is completed, it's no wonder why Steve is top rated. He is professional, EXTREMELY knowledgable, and most importantly, full of integrity. While he was conducting our home inspection, I overheard the Real Estate agents commenting that Steve was identifying fixes/problems that the previous home inspector should have caught. What my husband and I liked most about Steve was his customer service. We are first time home buyers, completely new at everything that buying a home entails.
