First State Flooring

Ron exceeded my expectations. He was very knowledgeable and very passionate about the work he does. His price was fair and he completed the work in the time he said that he would. Through each step of the process, he made sure that I knew what was going on and made sure that I was satisfied with how the project was looking. He refinished the floors in my 60 year old house and they look incredible.

Ron was great! He called and came over to the house for an estimate very shortly after I sent the request to Angi. We agreed upon a work date - and he was punctual, clean, and professional. Did a great job on the floors and is highly recommended. I am also going to have him back for other areas of the house to install new hardwoods.

He's a very friendly gentleman and he does great work, but he is pretty talkative.

Ron did a phenomenol job from start to finish. He responded quickly to my email and came out to give me an estimate that same day. Excellent communication thru-out the process.It was a complicated layout with lots of angles and a sunken area. Even with all those challenges, the floors came out beautiful!  40 years of stains disappeared and he applied three coats of poly. I am overly impressed with the quality of the work and the reasonable pricing. We will use his services again in the future and I can't thank him enough for a job well done. Needed work done ASAP.  Ron called back within hours and said he could do the job within a week.  He and his apprentice, Dustin, showed up on Friday--came back on Saturday and Sunday to finish the job.  I couldn't be happier. <br /> It is so gratifying to work with someone who has a positive attitude and takes  pride is his work.  I plan on hiring him again to install  hardwood floors in our family room.....a nicer person, you couldn't meet. <br /> Doesn't get better than this. <br />

<p>Full condo hardwoods redone.  I pulled up the carpet myself which saved some money.  When pulling up the carpet, I found large screws holding down the wood in front of the kitchen/dining room area.  That would not look good at all, thought I would need to replaced a large portion of the floor.  Called Ron & he came over to check it out that same day.  He was easily able to access what would be needed & he was confident that he could repair the area.  I must also say out of all the flooring companies that we had give us an estimate my wife wanted to go with Ron.  Some of these guys were on the rough side, and one popular flooring company owner was to put it nicely, quirky.  </p> <p>My floors look beautiful.  My deck was power washed and refinished with a Caribbean blue.  It looks awesome, after seeing mine a few other neighbors also hired Ron to do their decks.  </p> <p>I suggest First State Flooring to all my friends & neighbors.  Ron is the best.  He saved me a lot of money with his expertise.  Ron is owner and operator, it was still easy to get in touch him.  Ron is professional & very personable.  First State Flooring prices are the best in town.  </p> <br />

First State Flooring refinished and repaired our floors.  I thought I'd have to replace some wood, over 40 yrs old but they came out like new.  Great finish and Ron was a pleasure.  First State Flooring has also done two neighbor's floors and restored a deck within our communicty.
