Tony arrived slightly ahead of schedule. Found out what I needed and he and his helper went right to work. I had scheduled two people for a minimum of two hours for $180.00. They got the project completed in less than the time contracted for. They were always professional and very careful with the furniture and walls. They were the low bidder and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The owner (Tony) was quick to respond with a quote which is the primary reason we hired him, other than being available the date we needed. His movers were more professional than he was, though, which reflects poorly. Tony came with 2 of his movers more than 30 minutes late to our home. On a stressful day, you don't want to disappoint your clients! The move went pretty well, although a 1" scratch on our front door left it in need of paint right before it went up for sale. It took Tony 10 days to get the paint and complete the painting. This is unacceptable! It added additional stress to an already stressful time of our lives. Tony had a hard time taking full responsibility of this issue. When the workers are more professional than the owner, there is a problem.

"First I want to say I am sorry this customer was as unhappy as she was, her husband seemed very pleased with our service. We did get stuck in a traffic jam on the way to the move, I called her to let her know and left a message, which turned out to be land line that was not available to her that morning. The move went excellent, other then the scratch on the door. 2 loads in the rain, in about 8 1/2 hours. They were very happy and tipped us. It took a little longer to paint the door, because it was right at thanksgiving and I was leaving town. I did get it done by the time the house went on the market, though. I am a little baffled about my lack of professionalism she says. My customers and my business are extremely important to me. In 21 years Of business I have rarely had a customer say that, Mostly the exact opposite. I do realize no matter what, you can’t fully please everyone, all the time. But reviews like this do hurt my business even though 99.9% of the time my customers are happy as a clam."

Fisher Moving is as good as it gets! Tony was extremely accommodating, and the guys were incredibly hard workers. They went above and beyond my expectations in every way - fast, smart, efficient, polite - overall great guys to help you move at a great price. I had 2 places to move in a single day and they did them both super fast - a 3 bedroom house with lots of furniture and a ton of boxes, plus a 10x7 storage unit filled to the ceiling - all moved to our new house with everything placed where we wanted. Perfect!

We hired Fisher moving for a fairly simple Portland condo move out, into a local storage unit. He returned my initial call within an hour and offered just what we needed, on the date we needed it (about a week later), including possible drop offs at Goodwill. 'Clean and sharp' describes everything from his truck to his overall approach. He and Mark packed and moved the condo contents quickly, and fit them into the storage unit with fantastic care and skill. Tony brought not just evident experience, but optimism, energy, and kindness, even on a 90 degree day. Thanks Tony and Mark!

We were completely satisfied from our first contact with Tony through completion of the job. Tony responded quickly to my initial call and provided a range for the cost of our move over the phone. We scheduled a date for the following week. Tony and Mark arrived right on time and got to work. They handled a problem with taking apart a large king bed frame with determination and a smile. I'm not sure I've ever seen two guys work as hard as Tony and Mark. They were friendly and professional. We knew we were in capable hands throughout the entire process.

Tony and his employee were simply perfect in everything we needed moved. They arrived on time, we extremely careful with all furniture and when we needed to extend the original timeline by one day, easily adjusted his schedule. I would use Fisher moving again and would recommend then to anyone need a moving company.

Tony was OUTSTANDING! He was on-time, knowledgeable, capable, equipped, efficient, super friendly and helpful in every way! He had a total "can-do," positive attitude about everything he did, and went way above and beyond the call of duty. You would be very fortunate to have him help you with your next move! This is the worst moving company!!! the good review is obviously a relative or been paid.... because funny how the bad reviews all read the same! broken antique table marble top! any basic person can google how to move marble,,, just as a window pane, held upright! they were lazy,, tried to carry it flat on the table base which gives,,, and broke a huge antique marble slab! then the owner tony screwed me around for 9 months about repairing or replacing it! he finally came, stole my broken marble slab with some story of a "guy who will fix it" only to be never seen or heard from again. this guy is a fraud. $1200 to move i have never paid more than $800 to move and never had broken items. unlike tony's crew, who broke tons of my ****, but i am reasonable, and the antique marble i will not let slide! my attorney has taken action His staff is unprofessional and hit on me the whole time too.... sorry I don't date tweakers!

"I wanted to settle this dispute before I responded to this review. Yes, her marble table did unfortunately break, in 21 years of Moving, this is the only marble piece we have ever broke. It was unfortunate. It was a special size and shape and was given to her by her mother, so I wanted to get it fixed for her. It took along time just to find someone to fix it and do it right. Finally after to talking to over a dozen marble dealers, experts etc. I found the guy. But he was slow as molasses, procrastinated the job. He had it for over a year. I told the customer it was at the marble shop and communicated with her during that time. She tried to sue me for 2500.00 even though I told her it was being fixed and he is terribly slow. We are definitely not Fraud. Yes her move was 1200. Because it was a 1200.00 job. At the end of the move , her and her mother were raving how good of job we did, despite the broken table and tipped us ,also. We have Never paid anyone for a review, nor have any friends or relatives ever wrote a fake review. This customer also states we broke tons of her stuff, we absolutely did not and she never mentioned that to us. “His staff hit on me the whole time “ “I don’t date tweekers” . Frankly this is a slanderous review. I want Angie’s List to remove it. The guy finally got the table fixed and I returned it to the customer. She said she would remove the review. Now says she’s not going to. I will definitely not advertise with Angie’s List if this review doesn’t go away. We are an excellent moving company, who cares about their customers, that’s how we’ve stayed in business for 21 years. 99% of our other reviews are A’s."

Tony met me at my storage unit with his 24 foot truck and a helper. It was cold out but these guys wore shorts and t-shirts cuz they were working so hard. They were very careful with my furniture and had used padding to protect it and a dolly to move it. The truck has a cool little lift on the back so you just load the furniture on the platform and the hydraulic lift lifts the platform up to the bed of the truck. Very efficient and a good way to save their backs. They emptied my storage locker and moved everything into the house exactly where I wanted it. They even had to take off a bedroom door to get our old antique desk in which they promptly put back on the door afterwards. I had stairs, turns and 2 levels and these guys always had a smile on their face and were very fast and careful. Everything was in perfect shape and placed where I needed it. They even offered to help me put stuff together like the bed frames and the mattress to place on top of it. Great guys, hard workers, fast but very careful. Would definately use these guys again. I think I called about 10 days in advanced to get an appointment. Also I might add, the best price when I researched angles list for moving/truck/2 men. Very reasonable. <br />

I had scheduled another mover for that day. At the last minute, that person cancelled out because he couldn't get his truck started. Everyone was booked up, but Tony with Fisher told me that he could get two men and a truck out to my location that day and get the job done, and he did just that. <br /> It went very well. It was quick and professional, and the movers were top notch and hard working. At one point, our sofa wouldn't fit through the door and around the corner at our new place. No problem, the movers managed to improvise and haul it up over the balcony and pull it through the sliding glass door. It was amazing. <br /> We have lots of stuff, but the move was completed within a reasonable time frame. When it came time to settle the bill, I was pleasantly surprised that the total cost was about $200 less than I had expected to pay. They were courteous, professional, took good care of our belongings, and I'd use them again in a heartbeat. <br />

In addition, cheerfully problem-solved the removal of the chest freezer from the basement which ended up requiring removal and reattachment of a stair rail. At the new site, they put things exactly where I asked them to and even hooked up the washer and dryer.</p> <p>Great job.</p> <br />

These 2 guys saved our butts! PACK RAT moved our pod from LA to <br /> Portland, but was unable to deliver it to our home. We desperately <br /> searched for an alternative way to get our contents to our house, and <br /> Tony came through. He accepted the job at a moment's notice, showed up <br /> EARLY at the storage location, loaded QUICKLY and was only 5 minutes <br /> behind us when we returned to the house. The whole move took less than 3 <br /> hours, and everything was handled beautifully!! <br />

Fisher was exceptional in all respects. Prompt, quick, and efficient. End costs were below their estimates, and both our daughter and her roommate were very pleased. We arranged both moves and used Angie's List as well as an on-site estimate from Fishers. Again, we waited way too long to provide this review, but better late than never. Fisher's well deserves it. <br />

We just had a small local move but it was still the best moving experience I've had (and I've moved on average 1x per 2 years). This was my first move in Oregon and compared to the rigamoral I've had to deal with in California, this was a cake walk. Two guys for 2.5 hours. Awesome.
