Five Mile Glass, while busy, responded quickly to my request, scheduled the repair and completed it quickly

I called 5 Mile Glass Company, who was referral to me by a contractor I had called. They answered the phone very professionally and set up an appointment for Richard to come out to measure the double paned window which had gotten broken in a wind storm. He was prompt and professional; he took all the measurements and also took the damaged screen with him. He returned on Thursday - just when he said he would - and took out the window, replaced the glass, sealed it and put the screen back in. Replacing the window took him less than 1/2 hour. Very efficient. One small complaint - he had a little trouble getting the window out, so he used a screwdriver to try to pry it out which left a small mark on the window sill. All the rest of the work was perfect - well done, professional and timely. They would have gotten all A's in my review if that small mark was not made on my window sill. <br />

I was completing a custom bathroom remodel and need custom glasswork to finish off the shower. One of the national firms I contacted basically told me it couldn't be done the way I wanted. The folks at 5 Mile Glass came in, quickly assessed the job, gave me a reasonable quote and ordered the materials. Materials arrived within two weeks, they were out the next day, did a fantastic job. These folks are the best! <br />

I called up and asked what it would take for plate glass of a certain dimension. They gave me a price, and told me it would be ready. When I went to pick it up, it was right at closing time, but they took care of me, the price was right on, and all from a phone call--many merchants would have made me come up and pay and then come back. I have used them several times. <br />

The people at Five Mile Glass are easy to deal with. I asked for a screen to be made, and they had it ready when they said they would, perfect dimensions, for a very inexpensive price. <br />
