Fix Fine Furniture

After he left with my table and chairs, I haven't been able been able to get a hold of the provider. All of the numbers he has are disconnected, and there is no physical address for the company. At this point, I just to get my stuff back.

I sent them pictures via my phone. They picked up the table. They kept it for several weeks to take their time in doing the job as it took many steps. The returned the table completely wrapped to protect the finish. It looks new! <br />

When the desk was picked up from our home we were told it would take 8 to 10 weeks to do. After nearly a year during which we called multiple times my Husband went to the shop. The outside appeared to have been stripped.  We called  many times and we went to shop at least twice  after that first visit. Desk was returned to us in pieces (not a problem as we can put together) but top was completely untouched and we were told would cost $300 to $400 more and someone from China would come and and do top. we were also showed a piece of wood which held screws for typewriter table that screw holes were stripped and pine was cracked. We, because we do work with wood can easily make this piece and replace it but feel it should have been done during the year it was in his possession. <br /> We thought he would reduce the original price as desk took so long to get back to us but that did not happen and we were, frankly relieved to have it back. <br />

He returned the table and buffet to me in August and I was not satisfied with the work that done so I asked him to take it back and try again. He then returned them to me again in September and I still wasn't satisfied with the work that he did this second time around. I tried to call him several times after the table and buffet were returned the second time and he didn't answer or return any of my calls so that I could voice my dissatisfaction with the work. He actually didn't return them to me the second time, he had is son do it instead and he didn't really know how to set them back up correctly or answer any questions that I had.  <br /> <br /> Ultimately, I paid $700.00 for a service that I am completely unsatisfied with and I would not recommned Fix Fine Furniture at all.

The table came back and looked brand new!! James did a great job with it.  <br /> It looks so good that I'm afraid to put things on the table. <br />

They picked up our table to restore it. They have promised to deliver the table on two different dates. They never called or showed up on those dates.

Picked up and dropped off as planned... chairs look good, not perfect but for the agreed upon price, I am content. <br /> Very quick work. <br />

I spent approximately 2 hours of driving all over Tucker GA. I could not locate his business so I visited the local police and they were able to tell me where the business was located.  When I arrived at the business it was closed, but I knocked on the door and an individual from the firm (Comfort Upholstery  Phone # 678-857-1195) that share's space with Mr McDuffie open the door.  Mr McDuffie was not on the premises, but I was able to enter the facility. After 20 minutes of looking I located my furniture. The furniture was covered with dust and debris. No work was done on the two pieces. Overall condition had deteriorated form the condition of when it was picked up in July. I figured that I only had one opportunity so I told the employee for Comfort Upholstery I was taking my furniture. He said he had no objection so I left the building with my furniture.  Once I got home I called my credit card company and lodged a dispute and I hope I will receive refund in six weeks or less. <br /> <strong>Do not</strong> do business with this individual or you may not be as lucky to get your possessions or money back. <br />

It was kind of a rip off. They were to repair some outdoor furniture by putting new seat cushions on them. I originally had paid $99 for the work but in the end I paid about $650.

James is a great guy and does awesome work- he needs a little work on his punctuality and it may just be that he is so busy and needs more help but overall he did an amazing job on refinishing these two pieces and I would definitely use him again! <br />

I sent a photo of the table I needed to have refinished and was given a quote for the work to be done. <br /> James came and picked up the table at my house. I received a call within a week telling me that the table was done and ready to be returned. <br /> I couldn't believe how beautiful the table looked when I got it back. The wood was brought back to life. <br /> I will use this company again in the future. While he was here I asked for and received a quote for some more work I need done. <br /> The prices are good and I look forward to having more work done by them. <br /> <br /> <br />
