Flaker Flooring is absolutely wonderful. I had the best experience with them, from beginning to end.Communication throughout the process was amazing.Two gentlemen came to my house to install flooring.They were the most hardworking men.I have ever seen. They arrived on time, did a perfect installation and did not stop until my house was completely finished and cleaned. A 2 floor installation was completed in 2 day. I love my floors and couldn't wait to review this company and the 2 gentlemen who installed it. I have worked with a lot of contractors lately due to a big leak in my house. But Flakers Flooring was the most reliable professional and hard-working of all the contractors. Don't hesitate to use Flaker Flooring. Great job Flaker Flooring!

I got some tile flooring cut to fit my new cabinets. The floor was cut perfectly. He even helped move the cabinets back in to place. Would def recommend and will be using for future projects

I had a mixed experience with Michael Flake of Flaker Flooring LLC. He reset and regrouted part of the tile floor in my kitchen. Let me say upfront that Mr. Flake and Jason did a good job on my floor. However, my impression of Mr. Flake is that he is a very busy man. He appeared to have a lot going on. The biggest issue I had was with scheduling. On multiple occasions, he said he would be at my house at a certain time and was late or canceled altogether. The worst incident was when he said he would be at my house at 8:00 AM but didn?t show up. At 11:30 AM I called him and found out he was working on another project. He apologized and said he would come at 1 PM. He didn?t show up until 2:15 PM. By that time, I was leaving to an appointment. We made arrangements for him to come back at 3:30 PM, but I wasted my morning waiting for him that day. Despite scheduling and punctuality issues, I am satisfied with the overall job. Mr. Flake is pleasant, knowledgeable, and does good work.

he came gave me 300 for the job since - came bk and i gave him 200 i held out 100- ever wk its some other excuse this has been going on for 3 wks -he just hung up on me

"i met with her at her home and she asked if we could get the flooring and we could. she paid for the material, and we ordered it. i tell customers it can take up to a week to 10 days to get the materials in. The material was received the following week and i had her scheduled in for the following week because were booked solid till then. the night before my truck broke down and was delayed 2 days. called and let her know. she called back the next day and basically was extremely rude and aggressive. Then proceeds to call Angies to tattle on me, i get contacted by the company and i call her back. She acts like nothing is wrong and we schedule to come out on Saturday. she lets them do and complete the work and complains and badmouths the workers and the company the whole time. she sends them to buy other materials and do other work and almost refuses to pay the help back on the money they spent, when they are done, she asks them to leave and refuses to pay the last $100. This was done intentionally, It takes a pretty mean person in my opinion to do this to someone over $100... If you look at the overall review score you can see that we really care and try our best."

I hired Mike's team over the past two years to restore 4,000 square feet of 230-year-old heart pine floors. Mike and Chris did an excellent job restoring my floors and installing ceramic tile in the bathrooms. We had a weird project schedule, and we were able to work together to get it done to museum quality for this historic home at a reasonable price. Mike goes beyond the call of duty to get the job done and done correctly.

No, and not really. Project was to start August 5th, didn't start until the 14th. Miss calculation on square feet , delayed in getting materials. Job was completed on Aug 30 2024.....much to long to be out of my mancave. Work was good when I could get them here.

Mike was great! Professional, on time, friendly and knowledge. Even worked the day before the 4th of July. Best part was honoring his commitments and estimates. Would recommend to anyone with big or small jobs (especially if you the homeowner mess up the first time!).

After Mike Flaker secured all the money from my insurance for putting in the flooring and drywall, this is what my family was left with. He never came back to finish the job nor returned any calls from my insurance or myself.
