Avi and Tal were great. They have quality craftsmen... from the tile work to the plumbing, even the plastering and painting. Everyone showed up on time, did their work efficiently, and were all extremely careful to keep the rest of the house clean. That alone made it the best remodel job for us yet. The price the charged was certainly fair -- not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive -- and the part we liked the most is that the price they quoted was the price they charged. There were no hidden costs, no add-ons, and everything they promised was included. That was another huge plus. But the biggest plus is the end result -- my wife now has a gorgeous bathroom that she loves. We highly recommend them.

Flat Rate Rate Remodeling did an outstanding job on our home. The bathrooms are stunning, literally drop dead gorgeous. The guest bedroom with new tile flooring, lighting and electrical prefect. Then my wife left town for five days and we gutted the entire home office, reworked all the electrical, internet and USB connections, scraped the ceiling and laid the same natural wood tiles fabulous. Big surprise when she returned home. Took a couple more week to get new office & french doors to the yard. but worth the wait. I high recommend Avi and his crews at Flat Rate remodeling.

We are so happy with the outcome of our bathroom remodel. The work was really done well and you can see the quality in the craftsmanship. We're grateful for Flat Rate's willingness to work with us and find solutions when we ran into obstacles. Full disclosure though, we thought communication could have been a bit more clear and would have avoided some differences in opinion along the way. There were some commitments made while agreeing to the initial contract that led to some debates, but in the end we did resolve things with Avi's help so all parties were happy. Flat Rate Remodeling did a very nice job.

The work was done well and in a timely manner. I was very impressed by how quickly things got finished once permitting issues were resolved. They did an excellent job staying on top of permitting issues and were always available for communication addressing any issues/concerns. Cabinetry and countertops are top notch. All of the workmen were very polite and considerate and kept the house/kitchen tidy whenever their work was done for the day. The remodel turned out beautiful, better than I had hoped. Avi, who oversaw our project, was very professional, attentive, and easy to work with. Would definitely hire again, and/or recommend. We had interviewed quite a few contractors before deciding on Flat Rate Remodeling, I am very happy with the choice we made.

I hired Flat Rate for a bathroom remodel. They were a great company to work with, and I am glad to offer them a recommendation to any that ask. I want through a long quoting process for this job. Flat Rate offered one of the most competitive quotes with a clear SOW. My directions on design were very few, but Avi, delivered exactly what I wanted with a clean and modern design. Tal did a wonderful job of communicating with me on scheduling, and the project came off smooth and on schedule. If you thinking of any remodel, do yourself a favor and call Flat Rate for a quote. I will definitely use them again for my next project.

So I just finished a complete kitchen remodel with Flat Rate in my small condo. I did a lot of research and got quotes from several contractors before choosing them. The thing that ultimately made me choose them was the great communication which continued throughout the project. Avi, who helped design the project and Tal are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. All the crews were courteous and respectful. With any big project, there will always be an unforeseen glitch or 2 but I felt complete security knowing they will take care of everything. As for the kitchen, its simply stunning how it came out. I have zero regrets in choosing them and highly recommend them for any contracting project.

The price they told me was less. There was hidden costs that I did not know about. I think they should have put that upfront. I was going to do another bathroom with them. Since that one went the way that it did, I did not do the other one. Not that I was unhappy with the job. The job was perfect, I liked the final job. The other job all I need is tile on the wall and they wanted to do the whole bathroom which would have been about the same cost as the other. They are not even similar jobs. I thought that was ridiculous. They month long job was all over the board. Some days, I was happy. Some days they did not show up. There was good points and bad points. They did okay. They final job was great. But getting to that point was not easy. Also paying for the job, they said one price and it turned out to be another price. They tried to bill me for work that they did not do and I did not pay that. There was a lot of permits that were taken out and all that kind of stuff. The positives were that they got it done and it looks beautiful like it came out of a magazine. But just getting to that point was a problem. They kept coming and going, coming and going. There were days they did not come and I waited around all day. I had highs and lows of the whole experience. To have your house torn up for a whole month while this was going on. Having people coming and going. I definitely would not want to do it again, maybe that is why I did not do the other room. I think if they would have been more honest upfront about exactly what the costs would be. In the contract, it said, you will be responsible for whatever but I did not know what the whatever was. So, it was an unknown number that I did not know and they choose the highest price of whatever. They give you one price but at the end, they give you the shock of a different price. Most people would not be happy with that. They want you to pay for permits for the city that they did not. Like I said, the final job is perfect. I am very happy with it. Compared to what I had, it is 100 times better. I would have liked to know what the price was. That is something that people want to know.

They are supposed to bring the papers to me. but they did not. I found out the service was over price. It was a rush job, did not take care of the final deatails. I have to point out the things that they have to do. The man who work was good but then It was a rush job, he did not do some other things that need to be done. And also the Material that they put in the counter top was not the material that they showed me and promised to put into the counter.

It's just shy business traps, rude behavior, disorganized, poor communications among her and her staff and me and the tenant and apparently I'm guessing because the owner of the company and she had similar last name they must have been related because I can't imagine anybody putting up with her behavior in an office unless they were related you know. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> They got the job done at the price they said but it was a pain in the a**.

Every step of this process was a pleasure. We started out needing repair work, then decided to renovate the ancient bathroom while we were at it. The finished room is so beautiful that our kids call it the "hotel bathroom." Avi and his team were direct, pleasant, prompt, and professional every step of the way, from the initial design discussions to the final inspection. It was nice to feel we were collaborating, rather than being told what we needed (as we've experienced with other companies). All work was completed by the promised date, even though the team had to work around our schedule and city inspections. The office checked in regularly to keep us up-to-date on schedule matters, and were attentive and responsive when we had questions. Every craftsman who came to the house was punctual, professional, and friendly. The work was meticulous. We are delighted to have found this company and will be scheduling more work with them soon.

We met Jacob, the project manager to do the estimate of our bathroom remodeling, he was so knowledgeable, very thorough and explained everything to us. Tal, the office manager was very helpful and responsive, she made sure that all concerns, questions are being taken care of. We requested to cancel our bathroom remodeling for the meantime. They were able to accommodate our request within 24 hours. Avi the owner hand delivered our deposit check. He did the bathroom inspection, he checked if we have water leak on our shower pan which is the reason why we requested their service because the termite company told us we might have a water leak issue . Upon checking, he made sure that he checked everything and assured us that there's no leak and we should have peace of mind and advised us anytime we are ready to do the bathroom remodeling we'll contact them. We had a great experience dealing with them.They do have the best customer service!

I have had 2 jobs with Flat Rate Remodeling and they get the work done. The guys are pleasant and professional, which is nice when they are working on your home. I had a small bathroom remodel that went quite well and I am satisfied with the work. It was done on time and in the budget. I had a laundry room upgrade done as well. All working out so far. I would definitely use Flat Rate Again. I am very busy and they just take care of a lot of the worries so I don't have to. <br />

Overall the quality of the work was very high. The workers were skilled and did not cut any corners in making sure that everything was properly fitted, sealed and made absolutely water-tight. Obviously it was a stressful experience to have our only bathroom out of commission, but they did the best they could to move things along and make sure things were done quickly and neatly. They were also considerate in making sure that things were cleaned up when they left. The repair they did is very solid, looks good and will undoubtedly last a long time, and they told me to call them if there are any problems, so I appreciate that they stand behind their work. <br />

<p>I am so pleased with the results!  The quality of service was beyond my expectations.  It was a pleasant experience working with Tal and Avi; they both were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions during the remodel of my kitchen and bathroom.  My ideas and their ideas worked well and we always found a middle ground when we couldn't see eye to eye.  In addition, I am very grateful that Avi was able to work with my budget which I made very clear from the beginning.  I also have to thank Tal for providing friendly and courteous customer service-I never felt like she was too busy for me.  I highly recommend Flat Rate Remodeling.  They are honest people that do what they say and will not give you the run around.  Thanks again! </p> <br />

It is absolutely beautiful. I have a new jacuzzi, a new shower with a bench, new flooring, new lights, new countertops. All the guys that came out were very professional, they cleaned up after themselves, showed up on time and made sure I was aware of everything going on from start to finish. I would highly recommend them.

Flat Rate is one of the best contractors ever.  The bathroom went down to the studs and came back looking beautiful.  The project managers checked on the work in progress and made sure everything was well done.  They even sent the painter back in after the paint got nicked when the mirrors were installed.  They stayed in touch and they arrived when they said they would.   Everyone working for Flat Rate is a professional at what they do (plumber, electrician, project manager, glass, painter, tile man, etc.).  They want their client to be happy and will do what you want and smile doing it. <br /> I am a working gal and there were two times when I had to be in the office when someone was scheduled to be at my home to work on the bathroom.  Flat Rate's project manager drove down from LA to my house so I could go to the office.  I got to know the subcontractors who were all very professional and I often let them work in my house when I was not able to work from home.  That is saying a lot for me! <br /> Every home project can have it's unexpected events, mine did.  Flat Rate made it easy for me.  They made sure I was happy with the results I was getting and if I wasn't  - they gave me suggestions for how I could get what I wanted and stay within my budget. <br /> I have a beautiful new bathroom and Flat Rate will be refreshing my kitchen soon.
