Sean did a good job for us. The fence turned out just a we thought it would and looks great. We did have a minor problem with one of the gates, but Sean took care of that pretty quickly and all is well. The pricing was competitive and we found Sean, in most cases to be pretty responsive. He's actually in the field most of the day working on the projects along side of his crew or managing them, so he may not always be able to respond immediately. We were fine with that as we preferred to work with someone who was going to the jobsites monitoring the projects or actually participating in doing the work. Overall all, we had a very good experience and have no hesitation in recommending Flix Fencing to others who need a good quality fence for a fair price.

The GOOD: I got an adequate fence for a lower price than most competitors quoted The GOOD: When poor quality of work was pointed out to Sean, he eventually corrected the issue The BAD: The job was estimated to be finished in 2 weeks. It took 8 weeks. Rain probably caused about 3 days of delay during the project. The BAD: Little to no oversight of sub-contractors, particularly subs that Sean was using for the first time. Quality control was virtually non-existent unless I got Sean to come out and walk the fence line with me. Although he would express concern (disappointment, disgust, etc.) with the issues, it did not spur him to oversee the work of his sub-contractors more closely. The BAD: 4 different welding crews and at least 3 different fence stretching crews were used. Without proper supervision, there was little to no consistency in the way the work was done. The BAD: Work crews would not show up when promised, would show up late, would leave early, and even showed up without notice (I.E., our first indication that Sean set up a welding crew to work on a Sunday afternoon was when we saw people walking through our back yard). There several times that we called Sean to ask where the work crews were and he was surprised to hear that they did not show up or had already left. The BAD: Work crews did not pick up the waste and trash they created and on at least one occasion dumped a bucket of trash in our yard because they wanted to use the bucket (our trash can was about 100 feet away). When the job was done, a 20-foot pipe was left on our property with Sean's promise to come back and pick it up. It is still there almost a month later. The BAD: On 3 different occasions, Sean committed to completing the job by a specific date - he met none of those commitments. The BAD: Communication with Sean was inconsistent and we got the impression (right or wrong) that at times he was avoiding us, especially as the project drug on. Overall, Sean is a very personable guy who appears to be capable of doing a good job. The price he quoted was very fair (but perhaps we got what we paid for). However, his lack of supervision over his sub-contractors is a HUGE problem and ultimately led to an utterly frustrating experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Flix Fencing, especially for large projects such as ours.

Flix worked on our property as a subcontractor. Unfortunately we completed payment on April 2 when work was substantially complete. Almost 3 months later, the work has not been completed. At this point, it's a safety hazard. The job site has not been cleaned up from work done over 3 months ago. Pieces of metal are strewn on ground. Some of the work is shoddy (wobbly, not straight, gate will not open enough to move lawnmower.) We had to do work on uncompleted fence to prevent dog's escape. The process of staining fence and adding landscaping has been delayed already by 3 months. Now, we’re in the heat of summer. Our contract administrator for our remodel provided a detailed punch list. The list is long.

They did a fantastic job! They were very professional and fair proved! I would highly recommend.

It was great. Sean quoted me a good price and he could not have been nicer. There were a few delays from weather and material but Sean was quick to communicate the situation and the plan going forward, which is the best I could hope for. I have more fence jobs, and I plan on hiring flix in the future.

Flix Fencing folks were great to work with. They called me quickly after I requested for help and arranged for the folks to come and repair them within a day. They completed the repair work quick and fence looks great! Great company to use for any fence related work.

Best response in replying for bid request. Did not get responses at all from 3 out of 5 other contractors. Go-ahead was given on a Friday and they scheduled for the following Monday. Quality of work was excellent as was subsequent cleanup.

The initial installation was great, everything was done within the appraised time frame. A couple of weeks later, our gate started sagging. I contact Sean several times and there was not a response. I did hear back and was told he would come by to look at it.... he no showed. I emailed again asking when a better day was to come fix it and still no response.

We called Sean for a fence repair and he came within a few hours and completed the job the same day! The price was fair and affordable and the work Incredibly professional and thorough - I'll definitely be using Flix Fencing again!

Sean did a fantastic job! We met with a few people for fence quotes and not only did he have the best price, he had the best quality. We were well informed about our fence and could not have asked for a better job. We will definitely call Flix fencing for anything needed in the future. Sean was fantastic. He came out the day I requested a quote and worked with the property management company that I share my fence line with. Work was completed in the time frame Sean initially provided and he and his crew were friendly, professional, and cleaned up after the job was completed.
