FCI North exceeded my expectations at every step. Daphne led the install/renovation and was incredibly knowledgeable, resourceful and meticulous about every detail and making sure everything was done right. Not only did they install the vinyl planks (and were patient with my review of hundreds of samples over several weeks), but she found a true artisan during COVID times to restore my grade-A red oak parquet flooring that had been hidden under carpet and layers of damaging gloss, refinished wood stair banisters and repainted several fixtures that still look pristine two+ years later. Any flooring touch-ups needed were addressed immediately. Over these last two years, she has also promptly responded to any questions I’ve had on other maintenance and repair issues unrelated to the work they did for me to help me problem solve and do preventive maintenance. The level to which she goes above and beyond is like nothing I’ve experienced with any other contractor on my home. The icing on the cake is that she is gracious, kind and a joy to work with. I cannot recommend her company highly enough—and hope to work with her on more projects in the future!

Our floors came out absolutely beautifully and the customer service has been incredible. Owners are so nice, extremely generous with their time and expertise, and very hands on every step of the way. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Daphne and Michael were wonderful. They replaced the upstairs carpeting with hardwood and also redesigned the stairs including handrail, balusters and stair runner. Daphne has a great sense of style and helped with all the designing. I love the way everything turned out. They got the hardwood to closely match the older floors downstairs and it looks seamless. There were some supply issues and the stair runner was a tad crooked, but they made sure it was all perfect in the end. Great couple and a terrific team to work with. I highly recommend.

I would recommend this company to everyone. Samples are brought directly to you. You do not need to go from store to store. Daphne can explain the difference between each product and is very helpful in helping you choose your product. She is at the job site everyday checking to make sure things are being installed correctly and to make sure things are going smoothly. She checks her installers frequently and makes sure they properly clean up the job site and that you are satisfied with the work done. She also works to keep your cost in line and will check back with you in 10 days to make sure that you are still satisfied with the installation.
