They are an excellent company. I expected a huge mess of sanding dust but the equipment vacuums as it goes. I was very pleased with the sanding and the finish they put down.

Dru from Floor Craft advised me on the best material to use and suggested a good color option, and Joel did a fine job on the installation. The new floor is beautiful and very functional. I had only one small concern at completion and it was quickly resolved to my total satisfaction. Everyone in the store was a pleasure to work with.

<p>Around the middle of July I was at Floor Craft looking for some LVT for my kitchen/dining area. I was given a rough estimate for the project that would include tearing up the old floor. I found some LVT I liked and took the samples home. "John" was to come and do measurements on 7/31/15. He did arrive promptly at the stated time. He started by saying that I may have to cut off the top or bottom of my cabinets so my refrigerator would fit back in after the new flooring was installed!! That sounded ludicrous to me. I told John that they were going to rip out the old floor and there should be plenty of room for the frig.</p> <p>I also had decided not to do the dining area in LVT but to carpet it instead. I told John to just measure for the kitchen. This was Friday afternoon. I though I would have an estimate by Saturday. When I called them, I was told "John" was off on Saturday's. Today is Tuesday and no estimate. Just as well. I kept looking around and had someone else from a different company come and do measurements. I was able to order the LVT from them. They said no problem ripping up the old floor and that my frig would fit back under the cabinets. Go figure. </p> <br />

<p>Reviewed Angies list for local flooring contractors; had 2 estimates. John Whitlock measured area; provided detailed estimate; helped me select flooring and carpets. We actually went w/ his recommendation of colors--superb selection and something we may have not went with on our own. Mark Lundy, Operation Manager, called when products arrived (less than 7 days) and worked around my schedule to ensure no inconvenience. Joe/Gabe installed flooring in minimal time. Perfectionist is Joe's middle name. Actually repaired some flooring to ensure new floor adaptable. Work area was always safe and cleaned up at end of each day; always arrived on time to do work; and very pleasant. John W. came out to measure special area for carpet rug. Mark Strauh, owner, called to scheduled carpet fix and to ensure satisfied w/ work to date. Gary fixed carpet in less than an hour. Actually waited for me to get home as he finished early on previous project. I've used Floor Craft 4 times: replace 100% carpet in home when we purchased it; to install new flooring in basement and replace wood floor. A remarkable, outstanding company each time. Always thought I would use again, but sought other estimate to be thorough. It just validated that the price, product quality and outstanding service is Floor Craft's model. I highly recommend them. It was a pleasure having them in my home. John W. was the best. Always w/ a smile, had great ideas and goes the extra mile. </p> <br />

The sales rep, Dave, was very easy to work with. He came out and measured and provided a free estimate. The price was very competitive. 2 installers came and got right to work. They propped my security door open to carry things in and out and a gust of wind came and cracked the door frame. Dave arranged to have it fixed and it?s just like new. I?m very happy with the new carpet. I would use them again. <br />

They did a really bad job on the refinishing. A for carpeting, B for the vinyl, and an F for refinishing the wood flooring if I was to rate them on a grading scale. They offered to refinish it but we had already scheduled time away and did not have money to go away while they do any replacement work. Originally we had a step down entry way about 6 inches. The owner of the store had offered to replace a piece of the wood in the entry way step with a piece of mahogany however all they did was re-stain a piece that was already there. They said it was because they couldn't find mahogany wood. After talking to them they did replace it with walnut. They also did not hook back the toilets and plumbing correctly, none of them knew how to hook up the dishwasher either. We did get some money for some of the errors but we would not use them again in the future.

It was really good. They were nice. They were able to get the work done quickly. The in stock carpet they had was a better quality than the other companies I looked at. I'm planning on using them again soon.

It was fabulous. I showed them the piece of carpet that I wanted and the salesman didn't try to up-sell me. He educated on what I should look at. The price was lower than what I expected. Both crews were very polite. We had a snowstorm when they were working and ask if they could cut in the garage. They were on time and did a great job. A supervisor came to make sure everything was alright. After it was done someone came followed up. I couldn't have asked for a better company. They cleaned up everything. I'm going to use them again next year to have some floors refinished. I have recommend them to others. Don't hesitate to hire them!
